However, I later uninstalled Quicktime 7 installed Quicktime 1.81 and tried to convert the files first to MP4, AVI clips (did not at all in PE11), then format MOV (played audio only). AVI files play fine in Windows Media Player and VLC.  All I have are the original files saved as AVI in Streamclip. Is it possible to get these play and be editable in first 11 elements? I have attached a capture jpeg from a reading of gspot for one of these files. Thank you!

  Select the photos in the smart collection with the icon question mark missing. Use Cmd-click or shift-click the first and last if they are all in a straight block.   Do you mean that you have run a chkdsk and it detected disk errors and attempted to remedy and that you are now looking to the files created by chkdsk (*.chk files)?

  The computer is configured to automatically perform a disk check.  He said this morning it was running a check disk and restore one of my files.  This file has been restored to a version much sooner, as well as several other files when I checked later.  I ran a check of the index that says he would restore the files, but that did not help.  It will only run chkdsk.  I think I'll have my paid gurus do.  Thanks for your help.

  Try to use a waste product of data, such as those listed here. Do not write on the disc until the files are recovered or you choose not to recover them. For best results, close it, connect your two Macs via FireWire/Thunderbolt and start the MacBook Pro with the key T.

  I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think. You expect to be able to delete entries simply by touching delete on your keyboard when they are concentrated (that is how it goes for the removal of the form entries specific autocomplete in Firefox), but I have not tried.

  I assume that you use the application overview.

  I can't find an answer to back up everything, but a workaround could be while the file menu options are visible, press the option key

  and the point of the window will become close, if you click on that dialogue will ask you if you want to restore the changes or save

  pressing Save will close the image with the changes and then move to the next image and so on.
