I get the error 'Implicit coercion of a value of type String to a type unrelated to Array' if I try to plug r.currentItem.value, even when I used an Actionscript function to convert a string to an array of 2 uints. Is there a solution of casting of simple type that I'm simply not?

  Use an external drive or a high-capacity USB flash drive.  Show your music library in the iTunes window, read and classified as desired.  Open the USB in a Finder window.  Select the songs you want on the list of the songs and drag and drop out of the iTunes on the USB window (in the Finder window).  iTunes copies files of the song selected on the USB.  You can do this with one or several folders of songs selected at the same time.  If you use the view Albums or artists in your music library, you can drag and drop a full album or songs by an artist.

  Take the USB key and plug it on the MacBook.  Add the USB song files in your iTunes library on the MacBook

  NOTE: If you know how to configure the sharing of files between two Macs, you can transfer your music files directly between Macs.  However, depending on the size of the transfer and the speed of your connection network using a USB key can be much faster.

  I am answering my own question. I learned that if you right-click while trying to open a PDF file, you will be asked which application you want to use to open the file. If you click read the information, instead of choosing an application, you get this great information box that gives you the ability to set Adobe Reader in your default application for PDF files. It lets you change all the pdf files, you already have the Adobe files. Yay.

  The directory that serves as a common repository for application-specific data that is shared by all users is CommonApplicationData.

  Because it's a new account (even if with the same name), the restore procedure is unable to put files and folders in the same place, they came (because this place technically no longer - if yes, then the process is done and the transfer is complete). It can create a set of separate files (maybe even under a new user name, if it has been stored in this way).  If so, all you need to do is copy the data as you would copy any other files and folders (not the main files of the user profile themselves but the data in them) on the new files in your user account and who will take care of the transfer. Here is more information about the restore procedure which may help you in the process.

  Here is an article on the restore procedure:http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-restore-files to make sure you do this right.  It's a selective restore of a full or selective backup (not a full restore from a full backup) - but since you did a full backup, it matches your process more closely than would a full restore.

  This is a GREAT article on the backup and restore processes in Vista http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.backup.aspx , but he won't go into detail about the restoration process - considering almost as easy, of course.  But it teaches you a lot about what is possible and how to do it.  It also focuses primarily on the full backup process, but he did mention the full backup and restore process as well.
