200 DIMC is small enough and will likely cause your computer down.

That being said, 20 concerts is also low.

My first suggestion is to create a free account on the microsoft skydrive site.

then download files in your 'My documents' folder, then remove them from the hard drive.

In doing so, you can temporarily give your computer more disk space hard until you upgrade your system.

the next thing to do is to consider adding a hard drive to the system as a slave drive.

In doing so, you will not have to reinstall the operating system and it can still remain on your system drive, i.e. master hard drive.

You can shop for hard drives in places like bestbuy, compusa, newegg and tigerdirect and microcenter.

my suggestion is do not go overboard with the size of the hard drive if your just an ordinary computer user.   a hard drive between 80 will be ok for you.

In addition, you might want to add ram memory to your computer.  my suggestion is to have about 1 GB of memory on your computer.  so if you have 512 MB of ram installed, then add another 512 meg's chip to the motherboard.  the two circuits will be equal to 1,024 concerts.

Finally, you can consider adding a graphics card in the motherboard.   This will give you your computer extra power with high graphics and video.

check your computer manual or look at the online manual for your computer model to its Web site of the manufacturer for the technical aspects of the motherboard on the types of ram memory is required and types of slots you have for graphics on board to fit.

but you can probably give service customer of your model number before ordering and buying their products.   in this way, they can be sure that the hard ware you order will be compatible with your computer.

    • Fastest hard drive.
    • Faster or more RAM/memory.
    • Less things loading at startup.
    • Appropriate and the most recent hardware device drivers.

In XP, you can cleanup and optimize it in some way, by using the following tips:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • How can I speed up my internet connection?

How can I speed up my internet connection?

    Hi vatsrajiv,

If you have problems with your internet connection speed you better communicate with your suppliers of Internet services (ISP) technical support team. Internet high speed is governed by many factors, including your distance from your PBX and the time of day, you use the internet. If you're more than a mile from your phone (I think) Exchange and then speed will be reduced due to degradation of the signal. Yet here in the United Kingdom, resulting speeds are advertised as 8 MB and above (up to 20 or more in some areas), however, in reality, you are lucky to get an average speed of 2.5 to 4 MB on an 8 MB line.

Another factor is the time of day you access internet. Peak your ISP is likely to "cap" of the connection speed. In other words, more people using your lower ISP connection speed system. Another factor is whether a "router" is declining in some parts of the world where your ISP traffic fell through. Also, this may cause more slow responses of the web pages. Yesterday, I visited a webpage which, under normal conditions, takes about 15 seconds to load. On this occasion, it took more than 70 seconds to load.

You also don't say if you are using broadband or dial-up connection services. While we always assume that everyone has broadband is not always the case. Remote connections are still alive and well in many parts of the countryside, especially those. A dial is notoriously slow compared to broadband by default.

You can check your ISP website and check their "State of the line" to see if they have problems. If all goes well, it might be useful to contact your ISP and get them to check your phone line, just in case where there is a problem with your telephone line or even your router if you are on broadband.

How can I speed up the download time? According to the size-10 to 30 minutes to download a pdf file? Seems it should be much faster then 10-30 minutes

There is no way to speed up the downloads.  Download speeds are dependent on your ISP and the package that you have with them.  If you don't have a fast connection speed or fast package, you will get faster speeds of the upgrade of your Internet service provider Package.

  • How can I speed boot for my windows?

    Hello

Make sure you have the Superfetch service and ReadyBoost are running and then try to speed up the startup using my guide [1]. This causes the prefetcher in Windows 7. This increase startup performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are useless. Use this method only with the Microsoft Toolkit.

If it is not to speed up the startup process, follow my guide [2] to start track and compress theboot_BASE + CSWITCH + DRIVERS + POWER_1.etl RAR or 7z and transfer it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

I take a look at the trace, maybe I see what's wrong with your Windows.

Find the performance that you had when you 1st installed can be a little difficult if nothing else, because our perceptions can be skewed a bit over time.

    Basic tasks

Use programs and features in Control Panel to find applications and utilities you don't use, remove them. Many all-in-one printers install full of additional such as monitors use, utility of feedback services and consumable order links that few people use.

Msconfig Startup tab will show what programs are loaded whenever the PC starts and off slow start, they can cause a slowdown of the system, and how many times do you really need to update the printer drivers.

We can all see additional toolbars that grafted to other downloads but how many know the Addons that work in the background, click on the symbol to gear and to manage Addons to see if one is there who should not be.

The examples you give are web-based so did you check your broadband speed, ISP performance can deteriorate over time the more users they have. Personally, I use speedtest.net, watch out for those actually recommended by your ISP because they have been known to detect and optimize the traffic for these connections.

The other big problem is your AV. They can be the greatest example of bloatware with backup tools and so on, when you wanted was an AV. Lots of complaints of Norton and McAfee. If you have a subscription for one I would at least consider uninstalling, run the available on the manufacturers site cleanup utility then reinstall the latest version and select the desired real modules.

Don't forget to mark your system before you start to see if something that really makes a difference, unfortunately I doubt there will be much change. You need not actually specific benchmarking software just the time to specific tasks such as the boot to connect, connection to a specicifc displays message time. Starting an application, the time for this application to load a file especially complex.

The ultimate can be recharge it but just that I already said on your perceptions know so, I was stunned by the increase in performance with an SSD, but now, it's just normal and any other machine is slow.

  • How can I speed up my middle mouse button scrolling?

When I try to scroll down using the middle mouse button, it goes so slow I can't, so I use the scroll bar to the right. It's embarrassing for me. When I reset the button of the mouse on my windows to multiple lines, it allows to scroll too fast for my docs, but does not affect the scrolling in FireFox. I have looked for tools and options for this and cannot find anything to do about it.

You can try to change one (or two) of these hidden parameters:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the wheel and take a break while the list is filtered

(3A) double-click the preference mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_y and type a higher value to each movement of the wheel to cover more ground. For example, you can try 300 or 500. You can keep this tab open and to experiment with scrolling in a different tab until you find a value that gives you the speed you are looking for.

(3B) double-click the preference mousewheel.system_scroll_override_on_root_content.vertical.factor and type a higher value. For example, try changing from 200 to 500. You can keep this tab open and to experiment with scrolling in a different tab until you find a value that gives you the speed you are looking for.

I'm not sure I understand the reason why there are two such similar tariff preferences. One of them do you want?
