Then I went on goolge and asked how to print from a flash drive, I realized that I can insert my USB in my printer.

Now when I try to bring it down to throw it in the trash - I am told than others? use it, I'm out everything, even safari and he tells me the same thing?  Thank you...

You could try to leave by force (Apple Menu > Force Quit...) the Finder that can hold in the file/disk.

    Restart should fix the problem.

You could also simply disconnect the drive - while it is not generally recommended that it should be strong enough, if nothing is written on the disc.

You can also use the Terminal commands to force deletions of files or to disassemble the disks, although applications can use them.

  • How can I save a Flash DRIVE in Windows 7?

I want to backup my Flash DRIVE using my Windows 7 computer.  Please note: I am NOT interested in the backup of my hard drive.  (I can do separately.)  What I want to do is to backup my USB, drive hard or on another USB drive.  Backup in Windows 7 does not give me the possibility to save all records other than the hard drive and I'm frustrated trying to find suggestions on the web for how to do this.

Any suggestions?  Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

If you want to save only the latest files and not to remove all the files in the backup that are no longer on the key USB, a command like this would be good.

(This implies that the USB is T: and copy its contents into a folder on your C drive.)  Run xcopy /? in a quick order if you want to see the significance of the switches).

    xcopy /s /d T:\*.* C:\MyThumbBack\ /y

This could be saved in a batch file and made a scheduled task to automate it. Note, however, in this case I would add some error checking to confirm that the USB is in fact available in t:

If you want to copy the new files to the USB and also remove all of the copy which are no longer on the USB, robocopy /MIR could be used in the same way.   (Be VERY careful if you experiment with it. It can do a lot of damage if done incorrectly).

    Hello

First, right-click on your desktop and select PERSONALIZE.

Top left, choose "Change Desktop Icons" and let the COMPUTER and anything else that you can.

Plug your key into a USB port and wait for windows to detect it.

You just open COMPUTER and navigate, and copy the files you want just like any other file or folder.

  • How can I download a flash drive on my Samsung pro tab 12.2 tablets. What type of application to apply on my Android tablets.

Can you please help me to download different flash player or application on my shelves.

Adobe support dropped for Flash Player on Android a few years ago.  Although it is possible to side load an old version of Flash Player, you're going to Miss years of updates of security, which leaves your tablet at risk.

The only good option I know for now is that browser, which extends from Flash content in the cloud and disseminates results to your tablet.  This gets you the features of the current Flash versions, without the risk to run a local version, insecure.

Most OEM computers have a partition on the hard drive, that allows to give it bought as provided.  Usually, you activate this feature by pressing a key or combination of keys when the first splash screen appears at startup.  Look quickly at the first screen that appears, and you could see the key that you press.  Otherwise, go to your computer manufacturer's website and download the manual for your computer.  Instructions must be there.

  • Drive mapping: How can I get my external drive be mapped to F: (as he was once) rather than g: which is what happens when I turn on now.

How can I get my external drive be mapped to F: (as he was once) rather than g: which is what happens when I turn on now.  I tried to unplug and power, reboot etc.  There is no F: drive connected to the computer.

Go to start / Control Panel / administrative tools / computer management / "disk management and select external reader by clicking on it and then right-click on it and select change drive letter and paths."  It should show the letter currently assigned (G I guess).  Click the button change.  To the right will be a drop of drive letters box.  Go ahead and select F and click on OK.  That should do it. If F is not available, then it is used by the system for something else.  Check disk management to see if you can find it.  If it is not, and is not available in the list, I'm afraid, you will not be able to change until find you what is using drive letter F and remove it, or change it to something else.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try to understand what is using F or why it is not available.

    Good luck!

My hard drives of computers were completely destroyed by overhead sprinklers during a fire. Installing Windows said "we have found no disk drives. How can I get a storage driver? I can't go online until I have install windows. Thank you

    Hello

So it does not start from the disc, but when you get to the part where it asks me to choose a disk to install Windows, you do not see something here, is that correct? Go to the menu of the Bios (tap button "F2" at startup to access the Bios), then Advanced and check what you show for the SATA/operating Mode option.
