  • How can I stop Firefox asking me to update?

The options menu "inform, but do not update," account with no way to turn them off completely. But, since Firefox is apparently just as arrogant and stupid Microsoft programs, Firefox absolutely refuses to stop accepts my answer of 'no' and then no more wonder... I can't imagine why someone would update voluntarily to Firefox 3.6.4, because this adds 1.5 x memory of Firefox which is already a big eater of HUGE according to the Task Manager memory, by adding another process that does absolutely nothing useful at all (all pages 'crashed' must be rebooted anyway - and that's all of them (, not one). It should be pretty obvious to Firefox engineers that no one would ever downgrade from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4, so I do not see why he keeps asking me to update, but I really need to know how to turn it off.
