  Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).

  However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.

  If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

  If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to

• How can I uninstall/reinstall the games?

  I'm having a problem of the pixalating to display only when I try to play all the games that come with Windows 7, hearts, Minesweeper, etc.. There are no other games installed.   The problem (according to the newspaper) is AXAPTA_1-000001 - delta.vmdk no AXAPTA_1-000002 - delta.vmdk (the error on the second snapshot is probably because of the broken parent snapshot).

  The descriptors are ok, which means that the VMDK itself is broken.

  If you do not have a backup, you can try the following:

  -Copy the files in another data store

  -change the second snapshot descriptor to point to the basedisk as the parent

  -Try and mount the drive

  -If you're lucky, you should be able to recover at least some data of

  -If the disklib is complaining again then the two snapshots are broken - which is unlikely

  Depending on how old the second snapshot (the older one is better it is) the method above will not help.

  Finally, you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious questions, please post back with details.

  You don't have to re - install Muse.
