  I bought Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard (student and teacher edition) when I started studying, but I have installed in the PC no longer works. My new laptop is a macbook, so how do I use my subscription on this laptop? I tried to download the CS5 Design Standard of the Adobe Web site, but it does not accept my product key, saying "this serial number is not valid for this product". So, what should I do? I am still a student so I can't afford to update for cc, but I need very expensive Adobe products for my thesis.

  If your student permit is a Mac version, then you should be able to download CS5.5 and activate it with your serial number.  Your serial number does not work for another version, so try to get the work of CS5 will not get anywhere.  CS5 and CS5.5 are two quite different versions (5.5 should have been 6)

  Hey Nilo,

  You cannot just transfer programs (this one or any other - with a few very rare exceptions) operating system from windows to another.  They must be reinstalled (assuming they are compatible with the new windows operating system).  If compatible and you still have the original file on the old operating system, then copy to the new operating system and install it.  If you have a CD, and then just install it in the new operating system.  If neither, then go to Roxio and see what they current have that you can install the new operating system (or look for another program that does the same thing if you don't like the options of Roxio or none are compatible).

  Also, you can use the programs installed in an operating system when you are logged in the other operating system on the same computer (so I guess that it is configured as a dual-boot system).  It might be possible in some network configurations with some types of programs and operating systems supported on different computers, but not in the scenario you describe.

  I use the links tool in Acrobat 5.05 to create links in my pdf to other sites, not documents. When the pdf file is displayed online, I need these links to open in a new window. Now, they open in the same window, which submits the Viewer to using the back button to return to the original pdf and waiting so he could fully recharge. It is a sizeable pdf file, which makes a lot of your time. I tried unchecking the option on 'Cross Document links in same window', but tests indicated that there was no difference.

  If you need more information to clarify my question, please just ask. Suggestions regarding the solve this will be appreciated.

  You can use JavaScript to do this. For example:

  More info is Acrobat JavaScript reference. Note that this method is new in Acrobat 7. You can still use Acrobat 5 to create the JavaScript code, but it won't work for less than 7 versions, or most of the users of non Adobe PDF viewers. If you follow this path, you should add code that checks the version of Acrobat (reader) and just run the code above, if 7 or higher.

  ryanj4799 You'll need to change the Menu Type of manual in the options of the widget and add you links. Then go in the hyperlinks Panel. Check the option open in a new tab/window.
