  I am answering my own question. I learned that if you right-click while trying to open a PDF file, you will be asked which application you want to use to open the file. If you click read the information, instead of choosing an application, you get this great information box that gives you the ability to set Adobe Reader in your default application for PDF files. It lets you change all the pdf files, you already have the Adobe files. Yay.

  You have all your items on the Master Pages. They are only intended for objects that are repeated on each page of the form. For example, the headers and footers.

  Think of it this way. You form currently is rendered with a white page with the Page master page 1 as a background. All forms must have at least one page. The shape didn't need to make the second Master Page that there is no design n the form pages.

  Right-click on the root node, and then select "insert a new page." Name this "page1". Repeat this step for a second design page and name it "page2". See how I tend to name Master Pages with P capital, but Design pages with a lowercase letter.

  Then copy all objects from the Master Page Page1 to design the page1 page. Do the same for objects on the Master Page page 2 on page 2. Then delete the Master Page Page2, because you don't need this.

  First of all, you must understand that in 99% of cases, fields do not exist on layers. The two are separate entities.

  And the code you posted is not correct:

  You can access each field separately using the getField method, so it should be:

  Event.Value = This.getField ("Surname") .valueAsString + '-' + this.getField("FIRSTNAME").valueAsString + '-' + this.getField("dob").valueAsString;

  You would need Acrobat to edit the header of your PDF, or add text to any application used to create the header in the first place and then recreate the PDF file. If you have the source file, then the latter may be easier.

  Acrobat 7 is not compatible with Windows 7, so it's difficult to judge how the application on an incompatible environment will behave.

  RIM does not currently expose their chain wrapping algorithms through the whole API public. You will need to calculate these yourself (very slow in java and quite complex), unless you throw your text into a text field.

  I was able to determine how to type text around the outer border of a circle using custom shapes and the path tool.  However, what I need, is for ALL of the text from left to right and right to the top.  I'm trying to type three words: the first word is from 09:00 to 11:00.  The next word is from about 01:00 to 03:00.  The last word would be extended from about 04:00 to 08:00.

  Using the method mentioned above that the text will wrap around the shape of the circle, it turns upside and is now from right to left when he reached the bottom of the form.  I tried different things without success.  I have access to Photoshop CS4, CS6 and CC, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy.

• How can I keep my visible background layer when you create a GIF file in Adobe Photoshop elements 11?

  I am trying to create a GIF in Adobe Photoshop elements 11.  To give you the objective of the final result - I am trying to create the illusion of dog legs walking on a yellow background.  Each image individual leg is a separate layer on the yellow background.  I want my background layer to ALWAYS show during the animation.  In ADDITION, I want each paw image to stay on the yellow background that he hosts (if possible).  Here are the steps that I took:

  1. I have my background layer (yellow background)
  2. I layered all the other images on the top (8 paw print images)
  3. I placed these images where I want them on the background layer

  I know that to create a GIF file, I go to 'Save the image for the web', select GIF and click "animate".  The problem is when I preview the animation, it's a single image at a time, instead of the overlay and keeping them on the screen as the animation progresses.

  At the very least, I want the yellow background to show during the animation.  I can live with that if the paw prints don't stay on ;-)

  I think that you need to merge each layer with your yellow background, and then try again the gif.

  In other words, put the yellow background under each layer and merge the top layer with the yellow background.
