  • Product key - Windows 7 Home Premium

I want to burn a Windows 7 installation disc.  My office already has Windows 7 Home Premium, but I'm having problems with the logon freeze screen and informs me that the installation disk will take measures to correct.  To burn the disc, I need a 25 Code digit product - where can I find it?  If this isn't anywhere is the unit a Web site will provide that I can access that it will provide?  Thank you for your help.

If it isn't on a sticker on the computer itself, and he was never released since when shipped from the factory... You are probably out-of-luck when you want to obtain the correct product key for it.  You can perform a search for product keys on the currently installed system and get a product key - but it's probably "volume license" from the manufacturer with a and not the one you should be able to locate it on a sticker on the system in question... (Laptop?  Look under the battery!)

Contact the OEM (manufacturer) and ask them to ship the replacement for Windows 7 installation media.  They will not have the product key.

My guess is that you are trying to use the page of Download Windows 7 disk (ISO files) Images to get an ISO file - but usually fails for OEM systems even when authorized.  If you are unable to get it, you must use the Windows USB/DVD download tool to create a bootable media.

  • How can I download a copy of windows 7 Home premium since I have not received any dvd when I bought my computer laptop vaio.

    Thanks J W Stuart

This page: http://www.pagestart.com has a lot of important information. very useful for finding stuff in one place.

what I did is I downloaded a copy of windows 7 from http://getintopc.com/softwares/operating-systems/windows-7-home-premium-free-download-iso-32-bit-64-bit/ and it burned on a dvd. I changed my hard drive and installed windows and it worked! Then I activated the windows with the product key that I had. And now my laptop works very well!

  • How can I get my product key windows 8?

    Hello

It's me again. Please, it became necessary for me to marker my system. My laptop came with windows 8 pre-installed, but I need to get in shape and can not find where is my product key. I may have misplaced the documentation provided with the laptop, it is possible to activate windows product ID mind? Microsoft will give me the key if I can give them this product ID? My system specs are below:

    Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion 15 laptop 0884100000305B 10000610100
System serial number: 5CD3222ZKX product number: E2U74EA #ACQ

    8.1 Windows only language (x 64) (build 9600)

Have you considered using Windows 8 refresh or the HP Recovery Manager to perform a recovery of image factory?

Do yourself a big favor and do not format the hard drive and delete the partitions.

Use the disk set or recovery of recovery media that you must already have created to perform an image recovery plant. If you need to redo the operating system of your laptop is because there is a problem of virus\malware\adware then an image recovery plant certainly solve this issue.

Your license key is embedded in the BIOS. He will be recognized by the recovery and Microsoft software when you sign after recovery,

  • How can I recover my product key Windows 8 if my cell phone is broken?

    Hello

On turning on my computer (Acer Aspire V3) this morning, a blue screen appeared with the error code: 0 x 0000185. I understand that to solve this problem, I need to have the installation of Windows 8 on a disk or a USB stick (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-system/error-0x0000185/67d87671-93b6-49c4-84de-c28260ac5e3f) files. However, I have read that I have to have my product key of Windows 8 to do this... Surely there is a way for me to retrieve my product without my computer key?

I'm not 100% about whether my OS is Windows 8 or 8.1. After reading other threads, it seems that this error message may appear after the update to 8.1, who would have tried my computer automatically.

    * Note that Windows 8 has been preinstalled.

    Kind regards

    Andrew

If Windows 8 was preinstalled, no product key is required.  It has built in a chip inside your computer and detected automatically.  You won't need to type.

    Hi again-

Well, this is what I discovered.  I have Microsoft Security Essentials I shouldn't Windows Defender.  Apparently, it becomes invalid automatically with some security systems.    I didn't have the message "stop script" lately.  Why?  I have no idea.  As I said, it's random.  I appreciate your help.  I think I'll just see what happens.

    Thank you very much

How to get a new product key to activate sp1

I downloaded the sp1 update and after installation, I discovered that I needed a new kay product for activation. HOW CAN I GET THE KEY PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE?

Your installation reports that it is authentic - but you have a cached validation failed.

Try a manual validation to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

If she passes (and should be) you will be offered IE9 and MSE - you don't have to take them!

    [edit]

I have just re-ckecked the key - and it's for an ASUS computer.

You must purchase a legal Win Ultimate, or go back to the original OS that came with the computer using the manufacturer's recovery disks.

If your computer is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, you should have a recovery if partition:

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

    ------------------------

If the recovery partition is damaged or does not, you can then use the downloaded Home Premium as an alternative.

    NKALE,

It is OEM, sale retail or Volume Licensing? If it is OEM, the tile should be on your CPU. If it's retail, should be on the back of the box. If it's VL, then you should see in https://eopen.microsoft.com.
