'option 43 hexagonal f104c0a80a05' looks right to me...

If you're talking about only a few APs, you could hold the AP in the same vlan as the WLC Management Interface and allow discovery by diffusion...    Once he knows the controller you could put in a different subnet and you don't even need option 43.

But then again, Option 43 I guess is a safe bet to ensuring that the always AP knows an IP address to find out.

  • Latest drivers Atheros does not help with hotspot WiFi (or access point)?

I updated the drivers from v7.7.0.288.0. It's the latest and probably the last pilot found in archive of drivers for the A200 support.

I set up my WiFi Atheros in usual manner of Vista. The steps are described in most PC portals for the creation of an access point WiFi in Windows Vista.

    1 Control Panel
    2 network connections and sharing
    3. ad-hoc creation, the SSID, password etc.
    4. share the internet connection button.
5 allow to other users on the network to use my internet
6 access point is created and Windows indicates that the signal is "Excellent".

Everything is simple and straightforward but my Android smartphones don't detect access point.

  • Wireless connection failed because windows did not receive response from the access point or wireless router

Monday Nite I downloaded a driver site HTC syn my Android Hero phone. After extracting and installing the driver in the zip file, I tried to sync with my phone which was hook up my laptop. It did not work. Interrupt the synchronization process and I tried to check my email from outlook. Found it cannot send and receive mail. Open my browser and found that it disconnected. And so, using the LAN cable, fortunately, it worked. So I wonder what is happening to my function wireless on my laptop?

Can someone tell me what I need to do? Thank you very much.

    Hello

Search for updated drivers and reinstall if no later by using the procedure below.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

my computer has wireless PCI card, and my wife is not wireless, so I will try to share my internet connection the router belkin play wireless I have, but I think I'm doing something wrong because it receives no internet, we both desktop

You have direct access to the wireless router that you connect first with?

Most routers should have standard LAN (Ethernet) ports that you can run a cable to the computer of your wife.

Or you can add almost any USB wireless adaptor for your wife's computer, as long as there are XP, Vista or Windows 7.

  • How to connect old router to router new

I have a dvd player internet which can connect only through a wired connection but my router (verizon wi - fi modem) is in another room.
I was wondering how I can connect my old router (e2000) wirelessly to another room? Would I have set up as an access point?

    blazex4 wrote:

I understand. I was wondering if the universal media without wire - ca connector will work also instead of using my old router?

In my view, a connector of ca wireless media would only connect to a router of AC. What you can do is to get a wireless bridge and put it up as a wireless adapter for your DVD player. The wireless bridge to connect wireless to your router and you can wire your DVD drive to the bridge. To do this, I recommend WES610N (Dual-Band N/entertainment deck with 4 switch ports) Linksys.

  • How can I connect from a PC to another PC using LabVIEW

New IAM for LabVIEW and need help. How can I connect from a PC to another PC using LabVIEW. IE how to connect to the IP of the PC, another address using LabVIEW. Thanking you.

There are a few methods of network communications in LabVIEW.

Some of them, in no particular order:

    -Network shared Variables

    -Flow network

-Screw HTTP and Web Services client

    -TCP

    -UDP

(There are also libraries of pre-written e-mail based on UDP/TCP)

Which the decision to go for depends on many factors (e.g. should you read the last value of variables, flow without any loss of data, data dissemination or send messages/packets of data, etc.). I suggest take you a look at some examples in the finder of the example (help-> find examples...). If you are really new to LabVIEW, I suggest you take some free LabVIEW tutorials - take a look at the links at the bottom of the first post in this thread.

  • I need to connect to a printer in another room. How do I do that?

I want to connect to the printer in another room in the House. I have the printer installed on my computer, but cannot print from it. This computer is windows xp and the other computer, it is connected to a windows vista. How can I connect to the computer?

You must go to the printers properties (on the computer that its connected to), and then share it. Then add the printer on the XP PC drivers (if it's the PC that you want to print from). Printers / add a printer / select network printer. Add inf file of the driver here. You may need to extract the file to the printer to get the INF for her

Of course, these 2 PC must be connected by wireless or ethernet cable

But if the printer does not work (on the computer its connected to), you can connect to one you want to print from. Then install the drivers for it (install the drivers first, do not turn on the printer or connect), until it says connect

  • How can I reset or fix my router wireless or (lost the ability to connect wirelessly to the internet) access point

Wireless hub works, other computers are connected

On a laptop, I lost the ability to connect wirelessly to the internet (message: limited connectivity)

Recommended by the system solution: reset or repair your access point or wireless router

    How can I do?

I think that what you aim for is "power cycle".

To do this, simply unplug the router/access point power adapter. Wait a minute. Then reconnect it.

    Hope this helps

  • How do I connect the router without home computer

I bought my mother an Iphone and want it have WiFi instead of using 3 g data plan, but she doesn't have a computer at home at all. How to connect a router at home without a computer?

    Thank you!

It doesn't work quite like that.  You don't just to go out and buy a router and instantly have wifi.  It you will need to sign up with an ISP first.

Usually, it is best to first get your modem to the internet service provider and see what they give you.  The modem, they give you maybe already wifi and so you will not need to go out and buy a router.

  • Satellite A210-171 - unable to connect to any access point or router

Hello. I don't know that this is the right forum. Not something I do normally but since I am desperate to solve this problem, I'll give it a shot.

So I bought a Toshiba Satellite A210-171 nearly a year ago. It has a built-in wireless driver.

The problem is, however, I can't seem to connect to any access point or router. What I end up getting most of the time are so a message saying that I am connected but with limited connectivity which means I can't access the internet. At other times, the network in range will appear in my network list, (with a signal strength excellent), but once I have select a message appears saying that the connection attempt has failed. And at other times my laptop detects the network connection and functions smoothly.

I do not understand of course. So if someone could explain to me why my laptop selects and selects Wireless connections, that it connects and how I can solve this problem, I would be grateful!

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried to update the driver on your laptop?
Check the Toshiba site for an update:

    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads-download drivers online

And if you are already on this site check for a BIOS update.

I have a 3g Mobile Hotspot on my android smartphone and I would like to connect my PC to my wireless phone to be able to benefit from the hotspot and connect to the internet... A reply as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated. If I can't do this my phone can also connect to a VPN. HOW do I set up my PC and phone to connect to each other within a virtual private network?

    Hello

If your Android device is defined as a hot spot and set up to tie the Internet, connect to it with a PC is like any WIFI connection.

Using your Vista wireless capability you're looking for the phone WIFI SSID (wireless name) and connect you to the WIFI phone.

    For Vista, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928429

In regards to the phone, Android configuration, as a hot spot is not so simple, the phone must be rooted and a special 3rd party apk tethering must be installed.
