  musgoodw, the best advice I can do is just play with the settings of '' mouse. ''  Just type mouse into the start menu.
  By default, a Synaptics touchpad has a vertical scroll box to the right of the touchpad. Some versions of pilot also (default) enable the horizontal scroll down box.
  Both can be changed to enabled, amount of space used, where they are, speed of scrolling and much more in the config of Synaptics.  You would be pleasantly surprised how you can set one up.  ;)

  On my own SP4270 Win2000Pro install case that I came to the conclusion that the problem reside on the base 64 MB of memory on the motherboard, which had deserted somehow 1.1 MB, and so more big programs will not load and the installation procedure for Windows, as well as the entire machine will be completely stuck in about 5 to 10 seconds or at a very early stage in the process.

  But, I would like to have this made installation and in order somehow. Maybe the way is to disable the base memory and then just go with the sticks of memory on the upgrade of two memory locations.

  But, how to disable? Is the only way to throw the motherboard in the trash, or is there another way more decent to handle this, the BIOS v2.70 give any options at all for this...

  I have a new HP laptop with Windows 8.1. I HATE the charms bar. It is very annoying.   UDATE UPDATE: lol... I posted this below, but repost here... The solution given by the employee of Microsoft Chat line did not work...   This isn't the Windows feature. Can not disable access to the cd player while windows is locked. However, there is an option to disable the CD/DVD device. To do this, you can follow these steps:
  a. Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then click ok.
  b. in the list of objects, expand CD/DVD players.
  c. right-click on the sub element and click on disable.
  d. follow the instructions in the wizard to disable the device.

  Important: If you disable a device that is required to start the system, such as your floppy drive or CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive, these devices will not work, and your system might not start.

  "Change appearance" is disabled. It has always been since I 1st turned on this game in Win 7 Pro x 64.

  Just to be sure: the option "change appearance" depends on the selected layout (turtle etc.), then you should choose a layout first before you can change the displayed details (colors and patterns of the stones etc.). This option is not available on the start screen (grayed out =) where you see the layouts available but don't have selected one yet.

  In your case, the option is not available on selected either page layout screen (where it shouldn't be greyed out). Is this fair?

  I bought two Dell systems.  One was the M6700 I knew had top Windows 8 Pro and I installed Media Center with the Microsoft product key sent to me.  I went back to the system due to SIGNIFICANT and costly Pro Tech support.  After 26 days, they refused to fix the screen would dim every 3 minutes, saying: "if he wasn't a yellow bang in Device Manager it was not their problem.  The last day, I accidentally found a Dell program that controlled the graphic setting called color Dell Premier.  I decided to go back to the workstation even though it was a great system.  I didn't look forward to 3 years technical support useless and frustrating to a value of $350.

  A month later, I bought an Alienware technical support personnel system is so much better.  I worked with them for years and never had the problems I had with the support of Corp.

  Since it has been a month and I had just finished a factory on the M6700 system restore, I felt that I would have been able to use the product key for the Media Center.  However after working with a Microsoft Tech today for an hour. He seemed to feel that the Media Center button would not work on this system for two possible reasons. 1. what it cannot be Pro Windows 8 or 2. The key somehow was not removed from the M6700 after the factory restore.

  So before having any contact with Pro support, I would like to know how I can tell if this system or does not have Windows 8 Pro.  I don't remember if the Windows 8 Pro showed in the system information report.  Or if she could be considered under control panel - system.  I tried to run the update on the upgrade assessment and who has failed for some reason, saying: it was not available in my country.  What is the United States.  It seems that the system is configured for which English is the language.  Given that I didn't get through a full installation of Windows as if I installed the program as you would if it was Windows 7 system comes through a Microsoft Agreement which I checked and then configure the network online and I logged on.  I was not even given the opportunity to choose the name of system I need to change.
