• Multiple problems. Cannot install progams of the internet and much more

  My family uses a HP Pavilion dv9000 running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit.

  We had this laptop a few months ago by the first owner. I haven't used, but apparently we had a few problems. Being the most tech savvy in the House (which is not say a lot), it fell to me to try to save the machine and its data. I don't know how, or even what kind of data would make it possible to understand the problem, but I hope it's a good start.

  I tried to run windows defender and got an error following:

  I tried to download and install Glary Utilities. the installation application downloaded and started very well and almost there at the end of installation, but before he finished an error appears:

  My advice to anyone for a second hand PC, is that, if it has not already been done, you must perform a 'factory reset', i.e. the mechanism so that the PC which puts the PC in the terms of use provided unpacking of the manufacturer.

• The last 3 months of several BSOD and much more

  OK I know there are hundreds of help with BSOD files I should know I've read most of them.
  All started 6 months ago, when I thought I was installing an update of flash player. Almost immediately after the computer system crashed. It turns out that I had installed several small progs trial including, my pc backup I deleted immediately, another 6 months I always get emails from their part not bad because I never opened the program.

  So my problems began with a couple bsod intermittently until, about 3 months when I swear that the bsod was lined up waiting to strike.

  I did a lot of reading upwards, for which I managed to fix many of the bsod of but not all. On the advice of many forums including this one I did a clean install of windows 7. I have 3 partitions, c and d & e and what happened then is beyond me.  But I will not go into that now. This facility was doomed from the start as I did another formatting all partitions.

  After restart of the installation but I have set the time and date and bsod. Soon managed to untangle. Was a driver for mass storage and a stranger. This brings us today, the unknown device driver Sony firmware extension parser device was. So for 15 minutes, my pc ran without problem then a bsod error page then error 1084 and 1068. Me, windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. It's the Sony firmware extension parser device. Code 52. I can't find any help on this.  Then intermittently, I have a problem with my video screen, which I have lost it, depending on how it starts the 1st time happened I did a clean boot and got to the login page and my screen went bright 20% or so Sun have come very close to the screen.

  Doing a selective start up with SS & with original boot and hkcu\ "" '\current version\run off solved the problem. 1st time today start screen is gone, that's why we came. Without changing a thing screen goes dim then will get a bsod. .. D1, f4, & earlier, a new total, pfn_list_corrupt. Oh and at every restart in SafeMode the screen returns.

  I often get the bsod of failure to page, otherwise I'll get a different one each time.

  Everything above was written on my mobile, had more but it seems that when you go to another page and come back all this resets, whats that about?

  OK, so the error checking is the cause of all my restarts and bsod since clean install (2 days ago) have had 10, and the BCCodes are... 3 b, d1, 19, 7th, 7f, 1st, 50, d1, f4 & 4th had error 1084 & 1064

  To disable the auditor auditor/Reset type.

  Two of the three DMP (the third link does not work) are related to the material.  I would like to run chkdsk, memtest, prime95 and furmark, to find out what the material is failing

  1-Memtest. (You can learn more about running memtest here)
  Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Get it here
  Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.
  Remember, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.
  Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots.

  If a well-known stick fails in a card mother slot but not an another is probably the slot.

  CHKDSK /F /R
  
  CHKDSK WARNING: while running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found all the data available in this area could be lost so as always back up your data.
  Run CHKDSK /R /F from a high command (run as administrator).
  Do this for each hard drive on your system.

  (1) how can I disable thumbnail repetition in the timeline panel.  I have rrememberin the past, there was the image of the clip at the beginning of the clip, not on the entire clip (repeat).

  (2) when I drag an adjustment layer in the timeline, it creates as an image (and I have to zoom WAY to use).  How to change that to make it larger (more images) when I drop in the timeline?

  As I understand it, the problem with "thumbnails repeat" in the timeline panel is setting as a result of the thumbnails in the timeline panel. Click the tab of the Panel and select video miniature head.

  To remove the password to enter the BIOS and change it to use no pw. Enter current pw and leave new pw as empty. Save & Exit.

  Looks like you're going to need to boot up the laptop to restore the factory setting recovery media. If you do not bring your recovery media you can still be able to order from HP.

  I tried to solve this problem for a while. I ran malware scans and analyses antivirus, restored my HARD drive to an earlier point all to nothing does not.   Well I did some more research and found the question - ASUS data security manager. I uninstalled it and my problems went away. I don't know why that was the problem it is installed on my computer since day one and I got it for almost four years now. I hope this helps people to question.

• Flash questions CC 2014 with the function to hide the edges and much more

  It seems that in each new version of Flash rather than fix the old Adobe bugs only adds new...

  I just moved from the 6 CC 2014 CS and now when I want to use the function to hide the edges (which they "kindly" changed the shortcut to) once I do a little change, say, the color of the shape or line that I recover the selection, even if the menu "hide edges" is always marked.

  The touch line, I can't use this feature, it is useless, and now it's really hard to choose the right colors for my work.

  I searched the net, has not found on it, does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

  Another bug is when I have a layer selected and then I lock it, the selection remains, and the only way to clear this refresh bug is to hide the layer and show it again...

  New - anyone have this problem? or has a solution?

  So much refresh / focus bugs that move from one version to the other, I do not understand why adobe is not their fixation. Makes me think to return to an old license and to stop paying so much money for a full old bugs of adobe software.

• New ESX5 host - questions see SAN storage data and much more

  Just installed a new vSphere host 5 and added to a cluster with 2 x 3.5 host (in my vCenter Server 5)

  3 questions.

  1. I can't see LUN (on SAN datastore). Have zoned out my new HBA etc and still no joy. Tried the host that it recharges and rescan option etc. Any ideas?

  2 - my 3.5 hosts I was able to specify different default gateways for my Console and VMKernel Service (both on the same vswitch). I have the Service Console configured vmkernel. 10.16.5.x and 172.16.5.x (I know there is no Service Console in vSphere 5\ESXi) but on my ESX5 host I can't specify different gateways for VMKernel and network management. I'm afraid that vmotion etc will not work between 3.5 hosts and host 5, because although the VMkernels have addresses in the same range, they have not the same gateway. I have to add a local route on the host ESX 5? Or am I wrong configured somewhere?

  3 minor irritation. My local drive in my new server is showing that the data store. Can it be hidden or changed to not be visible in the data store? I want to only display my SAN data stores.

  (1) sounds like a SAN configuration problem - you should be able to see the LUN masking and zoning is correct in the FC switch and storage array.

  (2) you could specify wear two ways because the vmkernel and the Service Console were different and supposed to be on different networks - you no longer have a gateway single vmkernel - traffic will work as long as they are on the same subnet - a gateway is used only when you exit the subnet

  (3) I do not think it is possible to hide the local data store - but I could be wrong

  I spent several hours this week being transmitted here and there in Adobe and have not yet landed on a solution to my problem.

  Here it is:

  We have designed a magazine with DPS that we intend to distribute private customers and potential customers through the B2B store. This strategy was chosen by Apple.

  The problem is that, by the guide, Adobe requires a company to distribute in the B2B store level DPS account. Problem is that the accounts of companies are only beginning to 300 + copies and we do less than that. If Adobe sent me to their Department of volume licensing at 1-800-443-8158. When I called this number, the message says indeed it was the Department of licensing of volume, but when I talked to someone, they said they no longer do volume licensing and sent me to an operator to get the new number. The number they gave me was, once again, 1-800-443-8158.

  So at this point, I'm confused.

  If someone knows the way that I have to take to get this app submitted to the B2B store and any requirement that I needed, I would be extremely grateful.

• Flash player must be installed every day and much more!

  I downloaded the adobe flash player. It works for a little while, then later or the next time I start up tells me I need to install adobe flash player to display a web page (like youtube, ect.) I uninstalled x 15 or more and downloaded all over again just to have this problem again and again and again. Anyone know why this is happening. nothing else to do this, just the flash player. I also tried to install 32-bit instead of 64-bit flash player and still the same. any help would be great. Thank you.

• Services Web site deployment error "server returned nothing (no header, no data)" and much more

  I develop a VI on a large scale with a VI of web service combined in 2010 SP1. The "auxiliary" VI is responsible for storage of data capture and analysis as well as data and communications. It's big enough and communicates with the web method VI through shared network variables [and I use the DSC module to allow the management of shared variables of events].

  I can build and deploy the web method VI very well and it runs great. However, I need to communicate between the auxiliary and web method VI, and it seems that I can't do without including the auxiliaries vi when generating RESTful web services [also, is there a way to make this web service generates?]. When I added the auxiliary vi for the construction, he built very well, but then I got during deployment:

  "Server returned nothing (no header, no data).

  The next time I tried to deploy, I got a fake NI Auth dialog by this knowledge base article. By following the instructions for case 1 ["failure of Web application server since last started"], I ran Services.msc and found that NEITHER Application Web Service was not running. I tried to restart the service, but got this error:

  "The NI Application Web Server service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the service logs and alerts. »

  Knowledge base article suggests to restart at this point and I did, but I still see the same behavior. So really, I have a few questions:

  1. is it possible to deploy a variable library shared on the network through a local web service deployed and VI?

  2. What are the causes "server returned nothing (no header, no data)" in the deployment? A google search gave very little.

  3. what this means: "NI Application Web Server service on Local computer started and then stopped... '. "and what do I do to get my Web Application Server up?

  [to pile on the pile... I tried to re - activate the localhost:3580 Web application server and got an error. Localhost:3580 then offline also.]

  Update.

  I noticed that the Web application server attempted to deploy the web service broken and choke her. There seemed to be no way to clear the .lvws created at the origin of the construction. I was able to remove the deployment folder to \UserServices\deployed\ $(WebServicesRoot)- , but it has been recreated from the .lvws whenever I tried to restart the service.

  So I called NOR and they told me this directory [XP]:

  C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\My Documents\LabVIEW Data\WebServices\Standalone

  The .lvws has been in this folder. I deleted it and now I can run the ApplicationWebService. Apparently this file hidden undocumented is a "not-quite-bug" that is recognized as needing a fix in future releases.

• No audio, cd/dvd devices does not work, can not update via Microsoft Update, usb memory sticks not recognized and much more

  The initial problem was no audio sound on CD.  The computer had other system sounds.  I uninstalled the Realtek drivers and downloaded from the website computer and reinstalled.  Still the same problem. I tried to adjust the volume control and clicked the speaker at the bottom on the right bar.  I got a message saying there is no mixer device and the small speaker disappeared and reappeared even after several reboots.  There is also an error "no audio device".

  After reboot, the computer gives this error message: "Generic Host process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close." We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

  While trying to find a solution on the web, I discovered that the computer does not recognize the usb key,

  The last Windows Update was on April 16, 2009 so I tried to restore to April 15, but it says 'system restore is not able to protect your computer.  Restart your computer and restart System Restore. "    After the reboot, the same thing happens.

  The data is not "hostage." Pull the disk and put it in a box disc or it slave to a working computer and retrieve the data. If you don't have an additional computer you will need to borrow a friend or with the machine at a tech. You can also try the o with a Linux Live CD boot. I like Knoppix, but there are others. This has two advantages: 1) if the system works, you can back up all the data that missed your last backup; and (2) with the machine running Linux allows to determine whether the problems are caused by software or hardware. If the machine is unbearably slow and/or Linux cannot run correctly, you know that the hardware is at fault. If the machine behaves perfectly under Linux, you know that the software (Windows) is at fault.

  Whatever you do, do not install Windows without test material. If the hardware is at fault, software solutions like reinstalling Windows will be unnecessary. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

• E280 No. list of music and much more

  I can't see a list of the songs that are on the player e280 when I on my computer and Explore the files it contains.  There isn't any folder for them.  I have 6 GB charged thereon.  I want to Format the drive and then reload it. This will delete ALL the files that are on it to include all files of operation?  Does make a difference if the loaded songs in itunes or Windows format files?

  Switch your USB mode. Files transferred in a mode (MTP or MSC) are not visible or accessible in the other. Also the MUSIC folder is hidden by default. You must indicate to Windows of UN-hide ' it.

  Formatting will erase all the files installed by the user content, but not firmware or system.

  Perhaps. As long as the stuff of itunes is .mp3, .mp4, or .aac not this shit I have owner, they play. If they are, you will need to convert them.

  I'm having a lot of problems with Vista that I suspect may be related. I just replaced my drive hard and, using system recovery on my computer DVD, managed to reinstall Windows Vista on the new drive. However, I don't seem to be able to run Windows Update at all--I get error message A 8024, 000. I tried to download the latest version of Windows Update manually, but got the 0x800ffff error message. I thought maybe it was because that Vista SP1 (which was what the installed DVD) isn't supported, so I thought I would try to install SP2, only to get the error E_UNEXPECTED (0x8000fff). I tried running the system preparation tool and got the 0xc800247 error message.

  I tried various solutions on the site of Microsoft, but so far without success. Any suggestions?
