Not all the programs auto-start manifesting by an icon in the

Don't stop all programs to run willy-nilly. What you need to do

How guys do you overcome (Mac Book and iMac) screen sizes with disabilities when creating scrolling effects, can work the same on both screens when you started with the iMac?
Technically, since it's the same effect with the same settings, it works on both sizes. However, you need to test both is to decide if it will appear visually correct on both screens or not. On screens more wider/taller objects can appear earlier on the screen, it is advised to test again on both screens.

PC switched on and I tried to open outlook. Received the message:The path specified for the file G:\Documents and Settings\Ray Bush\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst is not valid.Known as the G: drive is a disk external hard Lacie to be used for back up, although it has been used to store data of previous Windows XP/Office 2007 extracted from the HD system crashed. When the above message has been received, the G: drive was not connected. Once it has been connected, archive.pst became available. It seems that the Documents & Settings folder system has migrated to the external hard drive backup and is therefore no longer on the C: drive, or at least I can see it there. Can I just drag and drop the folder Documents and Settings of the G: drive system into the c: (about 750MB)?How to restore to the C: drive without doing something drastic is going to lose the settings and configuration? Win 7 and Win 8, Documents and Settings is a folder hidden, locked, unlike XP.
Documents, videos, photos and etc are now included in the C:\Users\User name, and that's where your installed programs will send them.
You can change their default location, and your software usually sends to the new location because of the way it is redirected.
I don't think anything has moved physically now that I re-read your post.
You say the keyword but... it has been imported into the new perspective.
When a program is something important, is usually not a physical copy of the file. It basically accesses its location of origin, as if the imported file is just a shortcut to the original.
Your Outlook was simply looking for the file to its actual location through the 'shortcut '.
Most all programs have an OPTIONS, PREFERENCES, or SETTINGS button somewhere.
Search through the links at the top of File, Edit, help, etc. It should be in one of these if ut doesn't have its own icon... a gear, for example.

I'm not sure what a certificate of authenticity of the situation - I think nothing. What you need is a product key (an alphanumeric code of 25 digits in 5 groups of 5 digits separated by dashes), usually affixed to the botton, back, or on the sides of the computer - unless you are fairly well watered and the disc will be useless since you will not be able to activate. As well as the product key you need an Installation of Vista genuine disc (any disk of the same size of the ILO will be - maybe you know someone you can borrow an of) or an OEM Installation disc or a recovery disc from the manufacturer (at a small fee) or maybe there is a Partition of Recvery (depending on the manufacturer and the make and model of computer) - you can ask when you contact the manufactrer and their ask how to access - it will be a keyboard command any (not a BIOS change) assuming that it was not erased when they cleaned the disc.
There is no download legal, free to a Vista installation disc, and you cannot use the recovery disk from another computer, because pilots and other information will be wrong and it will mess up of the facility and maybe even cause damage.
