How do horizontal scrolling via mousewheel tilt work in FF 20.0.0.1?

EDIT: I solved this problem on my end. It turns out that my mouse manufacturer had a "helper" program that has been screwing the horizontal tilt support. Stop smoking it solved the problem. To other people having the same problem, I recommend that you check the utility of using your mouse.

I give myself to understand that previous versions of Firefox support a horizontal scrolling when it is used with a scroll wheel mouse that supported messages of tilt. However, I was unable to make it work on Firefox 20.0.1. I tried to disable scrolling smoothly, hardware acceleration, restart in safe mode, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

(The troubleshooting information below represent the usual configuration of my browser, disable all extensions).

However, other applications seem to handle mousewheel tilts very well; I tried it with applications as simple as Notepad on Windows and they scroll horizontally in response to the inclinations of mousewheel. I'm puzzled; delete Mozilla tilt support in future versions of Firefox?

    You would need this default way using scroll the entire page, as a workaround you can do the same content for all containers of scrolling horizontally so that it should return as only part scrolls.

    You will have to resolve the issue by program - HorizontalFieldManager alone cannot help you here.

    Here's an idea: say, you got 7 images to show while the user can see only 5 of them at the same time. Create 11 buttons and put them in the following in your HorizontalFieldManager order:

    1' - 2 ' - 3 - 4 - 5-6-7-1-2-3'-4'.

    Those marked with the single quote character have the same image buttons numbered in the same way without the quotation.

    Each button "without quotes" is the main button of the two with the same number and should have its onFocus defined as follows:

    The calculations of twobuttonstotheleft and myMainCounterpart should be easy and depend on your specific situation.

    This way your target button is always shown in the middle of the Manager, surrounded (at least visually) by buttons which could be expected.

    I have 2 HFM added to the optimization of resources.

    HFM1 - contains 2 buttons.

    HFM2 - contains 6 buttons, and the user can scroll between the buttons.

    The questions is when user keep hitting the right key, when the focus is on the second button of HFM1, then the content of HFM2 scrolls to the right - what is bad behavior.

    Finally, I found a solution using ScrollChangeListener (SCL).

    So what I did I set the SCL for HFM2, then:

    I have a Photoshop CC 2015. Currently I use MX Master of Logitech, with a wheel specifically for horizontal scrolling.

    But this doesn't seem to work in the Windows Version of Photoshop. I tested the same exact function (scrolling) on the Photoshop on my mac, and it worked absolutely fine – just like vertical scrolling.

    For windows, when I try to scroll horizontally, as a first step he immediately scroll all the way to the far left of the horizontal bar. After that, the scrolling has no effect and simply stuck to the end.

    Of course, I can use my mouse to control the horizontal bar, but it will be much more convenient if Photoshop can support a wheel specially for horizontal scrolling.

    So in summary I'm looking for is a way to use my wheel of scrolling in Photoshop.

    If the device provides the event of OS for horizontal scrolling, so it should work.

    Photoshop is looking for the event of BONE, even regarding vertical scrolling.

    musgoodw, the best advice I can do is just play with the settings of '' mouse. ''  Just type mouse into the start menu.
    By default, a Synaptics touchpad has a vertical scroll box to the right of the touchpad. Some versions of pilot also (default) enable the horizontal scroll down box.
    Both can be changed to enabled, amount of space used, where they are, speed of scrolling and much more in the config of Synaptics.  You would be pleasantly surprised how you can set one up.  ;)

    I think that there is a bug in the sublayout (your HorizontalFieldManager 0 mode.  Given that the code did what I think WHAT HFM will do anyway, I recommend that you try to do this with a standard HFM, using this style:

    Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL | Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR

    Let us know how you go.

    When I have more time I'll explain the bug, but if you want to investigate something, be aware that the maximum size that you can use in setExtent are the values that are passed to sublayout.  Compare the width as you try to define in setExtent whose width is increased.

But finally I have nothing. I read a lot of forums about it. And I tested it. But nothing works well. Blackberry JDE API said the Horizontal scrolling not yet implemented. I'm stuck here.

    You can try the following to see if this will give you the option that I described earlier.

    First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

    Once done, restart the laptop.

    When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, reboot the laptop again and see if the option is now available.

    I use APEX 4.2.5.00.08 and created interactive reports that contain many columns. However when viewing the results of the report, due to the large number of columns report/table data is outside of the region and a horizontal scroll bar appears in the window of my main browser. This seems not very good from the point of view of the customer/end user and I was wondering if it is possible the size of declare the region according to a specific size and have a scroll bar horizontal that it contains, so that users can view the rest of the report columns using the scroll instead bar rather than do what he done right now and go to the screen and having to use the main browsers horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.

    I tried on IE8, Chrome and Firefox 27.0.1 and get the same result. I tried to follow the ideas in this thread, in interactive report horizontal scroll bar, but nothing is.

    If you go to this page in Design of Muse mode and select all items on the page (using the keyboard shortcut is easier for this cmd + a), check if there are objects scattered outside your area of the page. Anything to the right outside of the page that you want to get exported is also get exported, and which is usually the most common case to do this. If there are objects, try to delete those and republication.

  • How can I scroll through button of the mouse on my laptop, mine does not work (as was) how should I do?

    So basically I got Windows Vista, in which scrolling on my laptop worked fine, but I just got Windows 7 and when I try to scroll with my mouse pad, it does not work.

    I can scroll using the bar on the side, but it is more convenient for me to use the mouse pad. It's not like it's an emergency or anything, but I would like to just this feature.

    I can turn on my Dell Touchpad features or by going to control panel configuration - hardware & audio - devices & Printers - mouse (or more simply by typing "Mouse" in the search box on the Start Menu and select my mouse)- then in the mouse properties, there is a tab to manage the touchpad.  If your touchpad settings are not available for change, you will need to download and install a driver for the touchpad of your laptop.  If you respond with the brand and model of the laptop I or someone else here may be able to provide more information.

    Having recently installed CC I take all applications so far... Although Dreamweaver (which I use a lot) shows unusual behaviour of scrolling.

    In my previous version of Creative Suite, for all applications I have a two-handed approach where to use the trackpad to navigate around the document with two fingers, while using a mouse to select the item code/etc.

    I have already disabled the 'natural' vertical scroll by default, because it feels more intuitive to me (for example if I want to scroll to the bottom of the page, I pull down with two fingers).

    However, with this new version of Dreamweaver, it breaks convention by having inverted the meaning of left-right scrolling, which has threw me because it's the only app to date that goes against the standard. Already if I wanted to see the code on the right side of the window, I would slide right, but now I have to slide to the left. I had a quick glance at the settings and did not see a way to change this.

    I think that you have installed Dreamweaver version June 2014 CC DW. There is a problem with the code view horizontal scrolling which is already recorded and produced the team is aware.
