How do I access my iTunes library the coast of ATC on my iPhone on my home network

Just bought ATC 2 TB, use it for the wireless base station and a storage for my 1 TB of music and video unit so I can access it through other apple devices (as advertised) home but how do you go from say an iPhone 6plus?

You can not... TC is not a media server... It is a silent hard disk in a router.

A computer must be running itunes and connect to the TC library reading.

other devices of apple (as advertised) home

When it is announced as a media server...?

  • How can I get my iTunes library is displayed on my new Macbook Pro?

I have a new macbook pro. my old macbook crashed. I try to access my iTunes library to my new computer and am not succeed. I have "authorized" this computer, but it does not appear on my list "manage devices" in iTunes. Any suggestions?

    Hi KathShan,

I understand that you have a problem with access to your music on your MacBook Pro. Let's see if we can get this sorted out.

If you use Apple iTunes game or music, then you will need to make sure you have iCloud active library. I opened iTunes preferences and on the general tab, you should see iCloud music library and make sure that it is checked. After that, your library will appear.

Take a look at the article below, but also a screenshot to preferences iTunes for more details.

If you use any music from Apple or iTunes game, then you will only be able to download your past purchases. If you can somehow have access to your old iTunes library, you can transfer them to your new Mac. Take a look at two articles that talk about this.

  • How can I access my emails after the death of my PC. I had a pc using Windows Vista and I served my Windows Mail e-mail program.

Disaster of Windows Mail.  Where are my emails please?

How can I access my emails after the death of my PC. I had a pc using Windows Vista and I served my Windows Mail e-mail program.  The computer has stopped working so I removed the hard drive, put it in a case and now use it as an external drive.  My new computer, I took possession of the Documents and Settings folder, and I'm looking for emails.  I followed the path, Documents and Settings / / AppData / Local / Microsoft / Windows Mail but there are 2 folders, backup & stationery as well as a few small files.  Where I could hide my email? Please, I beg you.

There should be a directory called local folders under the message store and eml files organized into folders named after the directories under this directory are.  They may be hidden files, so make sure that you have enabled the display of hidden files and folders under control panel | Folder options | View.  You can also try to search *.eml, because messages are stored as eml files.  See www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm for background.

  • How can I access all instances of the itemRenderer in a specific DataGridColumn?

How can I access all instances of the itemRenderer in a specific DataGridColumn? Or, if I have a rowIndex and columnIndex, how do I get the itemRenderer to these clues?

I use States to change the display of my itemRenderer of a TextField of a PopUpMenuButton. What I was trying to do was change back the display of all the other itemRenderers visible in the column of the textfield, when one of the itemRenderers displays the PopUpMenuButton.

I tried to loop through all of the itemRenderers in the column and casting them as the class I was using and then by setting the currentState, but, it wasn't good performance wise and required too code. I simplified it listen to a change on the listData owner event (in my case a DataGrid, but any component ListBase) and by setting the currentState to null when it is triggered. Works like a charm.

  • Get the iPhone to recognize the change to iTunes Library the drive letter

I'm doing something that should be extremely simple, and Apple has found a way to make it incredibly difficult. I'm moving my media to a new computer. On my old computer, all the media has been on the J: drive. On my new computer, it's all about the D: drive. Other than that, the folder structure is exactly the same. Apple says that in documentation for migrating to a new computer, activate the option "Keep iTunes folder organized Media". There are several reasons why this is not an option, mainly because iTunes is the absolute worst to organize your media folder. I've seen cases where iTunes dumps simply all your files perfectly organized in a single folder for you to figure out what that is when you get the file you need. No thanks, I'm perfectly capable of organizing my own files. Not to mention, my multimedia files are on a data disc and the app folder, where the files to iTunes library is on an SSD with limited storage. Then... Guard iTunes library trace the location of support using a "iTunes Music Library.xml" file. I've updated this file to use the new location and when I open iTunes on my new computer, everything is perfect. All my media is there with all my custom illustrations I apply (iTunes can also be really terrible at the corresponding work on music not purchased via iTunes!). If great, let's get my iPhone recognized now because it's really the only reason why I use iTunes. As soon as I connect my phone and it starts the synchronization process, it crushes everything in the XML file and returns all my music in the original location (now the music in the iTunes library has!'s next to all my music sync). You're going to go to a song and it will ask you the new location, I can go to, and then iTunes invites even to use this new location to update other files 'disappeared', but the problem is this feature only searches the subfolder where the particular file is located, you have access to what is in this case an album. Do you know how many albums I have? You mean I have to go to every single album and update the location manually? Once again, no thanks! So my thought at this point, ok, let's just resync all the music with the phone, that well that is always a huge pain given the extremely slow transfer speeds from your computer to your phone (Apple Hi, meet 3.1 USB or same USB 3.0) in combination with the size of my library (we're talking days to complete!), it's even less of a pain then go each file (or a piece of each album) and updated the location. On a side note - it would be really great if the synchronization on the Wi - Fi technology still works... I mean, they had what, over 4 years to operate and you're still lucky if your phone is recognized by Wi - Fi. That means I have to leave my phone on my computer for days and who really has the ability to do? Sorry, I digress. So, I removed all of my music from my phone and got iTunes to be happy with the new drive letter. Great, let's start the arduous process to sync my music on my phone. I re - activate the option synchronize my music and what happens, my iPhone again overwrites my iTunes library with the former location of media! Excuse me, but how is it reasonable to have the phone, which is a destination and contains a subset of your library, to be the registration system for which the files are stored in the source? I mean come on! This is absurd! I've always hated that Apple is owner and forces you to use iTunes (some of the worst software ever developed) to manage/sync your media. But for years, I have it justified by saying iPhone works simply. No worries. Well, I'll say, it does not just work and my insinuation that Apple made simple products that just don't work no longer holds water. At this point, I am very close to say goodbye to the iPhone and switch to Google project. I'm tired of less expensive phones friends surpassing my overpriced device that uses obsolete technology. Sort of, I'm sorry to dump all this on the community, but it is absolutely ridiculous that it's so complicated to change a drive letter and I am at my wits end. Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer a solution.

  • How can I move my iTunes Library to External Hard Drive?

I googled cela but can't seem to find what I'm looking for...

I want to leave my iTunes library in all my Windows PC for a hard drive external and I want to keep it there because it does not fit on my new Macbook Air. I'm happy to plug every time that I would use my iTunes library.

I found the instructions step by step online, but I would like to know what happens if you never had the option "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" checked. This way only future additions will be copied in my folder or it will copy all my previous music? I took a peek in the folder and my latest addition isn't here so I guess that it copies only future additions to the library. Is this correct?

If so, how to get all my music in one folder so I can copy it to my hard drive? (Yes, I confess that my music seems to be scattered in my PC)

  • How do I add to itunes library without duplicating files

I have two computers and therefore two local iTunes library. A while back, I moved my iTunes Media on dropbox folder location, like that I could have one place two libraries would draw from. When I got new music I would like to import into a library as usual, and in order to get on the second library I was going to just come to 'Add to library' on the second computer and reselect the same iTunes Media folder. For longer, it would scan this folder and import only new music, however for some reason any now whenever I try to 'Add to library' on the second computer it begins to import duplicates of the entire library rather than just new music. Not sure if I changed the setting on this, or if it is a change caused by an iTunes update? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you add a media to an iTunes iTunes library folder will ignore all media for which there is a reference specific dedicated location in the iTunes library file because it is already in the library. You see all the broken links! = What you say all your old references should all be showing broken links because you see everything add iTunes think it is different from that of the current storage location library tracks.

This is the risk of using something like Dropbox for storing media.  I don't really know what is happening in detail and it is unlikely, that it has nothing to do with an iTunes updated since iTunes behaved this way since version 1.  Sometimes of storage devices what top-level network address needs such as NAS play this kind of question and Dropbox is certainly network.

  • How can I keep my iTunes library to a new installation of iTunes?

    Hello

I got a new SSD and re-installed Windows 7 and all my software, including iTunes.

I have my iTunes Library (iTunes Media folder) on a data reader and now I reinstalled iTunes and I want to keep the old library, so in the preferences, I put my iTunes library to the path leading to my old iTunes library, but the music still does not appear in iTunes. The only music that shows it's the music purchased from the iTunes store, but no CD-imports are shown.

I hope someone can help me with this,

    Thanks in advance!

    Lars

If you have the iTunes database files, launch iTunes with the SHIFT key pressed and select the library that contain. If you can't seem to them, made the iTunes Media folder inside the application window open iTunes or automatically add to iTunes folder; all the old library metadata that are lost.

  • How can I access messages that came to my iPad but not my iPhone?

My friend, who also uses an iPhone, sent several messages this evening.  I picked up my iPad and saw that there was a lot of posts on the lock screen, but I spent just the lock screen here as usual to use the iPad for the reason that I picked up.  Then I brought my iPhone and was surprised to see that there is NOT here messages.

I have no Messages app on my iPad I see, and it is not available to install/open since the AppStore.  My iPhone is set to NOT use iMessage, which is I guess, how it happened... and I will soon turn off iMessage on my iPad to prevent it happening again (who knows how many times this has happened in the past!).

Then. How can I see the missing messages?  My iPad message settings are to keep forever.

The messages app is here. It cannot be deleted. You can search with Spotlight, or use the settings > General > reset > layout home page reset to reset icons to their default locations.
