    Hi kuentin,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

    (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

    (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

    (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

    (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

I suggest you go to the link below and read for more information on user accounts.

  • How to set a user account to have the same settings as the administrator account

How to configure a user account to have the same settings as the administrator account. using windows xp pro with service pack 3

    Set the "parameters of same.

If you want that the user has administrator privileges, then all you need to do is to add the user to the group "Administrators".  To do this, right-click on 'My computer', select 'Manage' and open the "local users and groups" section.  Click on 'Groups', double click on "Administrators" and add the user to the administrator group.

If you set 'settings' and things like wallpaper and other preferences, there isn't a way to do that easily other than to simply set these parameters.

    Hope this helps,

  • Windows 10 continues to change user account controls

Why windows done 10. change user account controls, it's extremely annoying. Whenever I reboot it disables it, which blocks all applications. Why he won't stay where I leave it?

While I can only say that malware has installed a utility that removes the UAC setting when Windows loading [in the hope that you don't notice the change, and that malicious software can therefore go further by installing other malware without bringing a challenge Admin dialog box].  This problem was reported some time ago and finally diagnosed as a symptom of malware - see Windows 7 UAC (user access control) is disabled on every reboot

In addition to a full scan with your antivirus installed utility, download and run a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free [MBAM].  It is much more difficult for malware to hide its presence of two scanners different antimalware.  MBAM can exist alongside other anti-malware utilities, so it won't be a problem.

Of course, it could be an anomaly in the system instead, but it's not that I've seen reported in this forum before.  Windows has no integrated procedure that changes the setting of the UAC, so it is difficult to envisage any procedure through to cause this symptom.

Please specify the operating system you are using and use blue change control under your question of re - categorize it as a matter of Windows if necessary 10.

    Good luck

  • How can I change my artists contributing and the title of my music files

Hello, some of my music has incorrect artists and titles in its properties, I was wondering how I could change them by typing in the most appropriate? Thank you

HI - regarding the Michel which is not the best way to do it, especially if you use Windows Media Player. Change the information in the Windows Media Library as shown in the screenshot below - highlight and right click and you should get the option 'Edit' for the relevant column. (Modification of information in the library 'explorer' can break the bond of WMP so the change should be made in the library of WMP or alternatively to the location of the original file)

You can highlight the right click and change in the fields in yellow... (and also change the album art if necessary, by selecting a new jpeg image, by clicking on "copy" and you will then get the option "Paste" when you click on the existing image... Note, you will not see 'stick' after clicking 'copy'!) Hope this helps - R

  • How do I change user to the administrator account when it all together to standard users.

Hi I set up my computer girl with their username first and then when I put mine up to put parental controls on it mine was the standard user. I changed mine to the administrator and his standard, but how some were now two standard users. I can't enter in allocate framework and programs now, he asks me the administrator password, but me don't give no option to enter one. I was about to reinstall windows, but there is no disk with him. All the world and ideas how to fix it.

    Thank you

    Ryan

You can use system restore to set up Windows to a point until you have changed the password now:
    1. put your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
2 start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. press a button if you are prompted to start from the DVD.
    4. When prompted, select "Safe Mode Command Prompt".
5 log in as administrator if you are prompted.
    6. Select repair when prompted.
    7. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    8. set Windows to a point before this problem occurred.
    9. When finished, remove the CD before restarting the system.
In step 2, you can also use the Windows 7 installation DVD. The subsequent steps are similar to those above.

When you're done, plan and create a second account. admin record its details on paper so that it will never happen.
