How do I delete old emails sent and received, and keep the other? I know I could erase 1 at the time but a lot then how are we doing? thyanks__

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Ideas:

  • You have problems with programs
  • Error messages
  • Recent changes to your computer
  • What you have already tried to solve the problem

It kind of depends on what you use for email...

I think that in the majority of applications of electronic mail, when you click to select one, you can hold the CTRL key to select another allowing you to select as much as you want one by one.  Jut skip the ones you want to keep.

Then click right those selected and delete (or save).

If you have a big block to do, click to select the top one in the block where you want to start, hold down the SHIFT key and click on the bottom in the block where you want to end.  Who will choose the top, down one and all those in between.

You can be more picky with your records by just hold down the CTRL key and clicking on things individually, but you get the idea.

Do not guess what the problem might be - understand and resolve it. I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!
