How do I edit the original file in photoshop the muse?

On my mac, it always opens the jpg preview. Guess I could always open previously the jpg and save it as a psd... it is a workaround that requires more time however. In this case I might just open it in ps and work on it, then update to muse.

To the present Muse relies on the operating system to decide which application opens for a given file format. So a .jpg file to be opened in Photoshop, you will need to change the file association in the Finder. Click a .jpg file, select File: Get Info and choose Photoshop in the section 'Open with' and hit everything change. Note that this has the disadvantage that double click on a jpg file in the FInder now open it in Photoshop, which may not be what you want always.

Having specific features 'change using Photoshop... '. «and «Change using Fireworks...» "is something that we would like to add, but have not yet obtained.

You open the image directly from iPhoto? Right-click and choose Edit in > Photoshop elements Editor

This link is old, but gives information on the tray upward. Respect to the PSE11, but the principle remains the same. In iPhoto prefs you access at the request of the editor in the support files folder. Start from the Finder by holding the Alt (Optn key) key and choosing the library.

  • "Move a disc L: network project to C: drive - how to re-edit the files?

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/PremierePro/4.0/WS3D22F379-B6C7-4D8C-9548-26AA3E1EA74F.html

In the thread above "Moving a project to another computer", it states that the assets should retain their file names and folder locations so that Premiere Pro can find and automatically linking them to their clips in the project and even though I'm only a novice user of PP is standard advice for all software.  However, I can't find anywhere of the tips on how to exchange a project from a hard disk to one another on the same computer.

What I want to do is move that the media my network project files (L :) will Assembly computer C: drive as all advice here on hard drives must not to use network drives.  I copied the files on it but how do I replace the links to media files within the project PP which are currently pointing to the sub folders on my L:drive with a points to the same file name replacement, but with the path in the C: drive.  Sorry if it's a matter of numpties but I'm not the answer through research.

Reason for delay of the project - for a reason that the sequence files were lost when I have opened the project so I had to reuse the last auto-save good despite the loss of some editing work and the project had also suddenly started to take an hour to load all related media.  In the light of the opinion on the use do not network drives decided to remove one of the possible causes before going further with the risk of losing the edited file...

I strongly agree with Jim on the place where to move the project files and media.

Now, when you do not move the files, the (absolute) paths in the PRPROJ file, will be more correct. The drive letter will be changed.

When you open your project in its new location, you will get a box of question, 'Where is file _?' for the first active, where the link is now broken. Using the Finder, navigate to the folder where the missing first asset is NOW located and select this. PrPro will then look in this folder and automatically connect to all assets in this folder. If you have assets in several files, you need to repeat for each file, and the new, PrPro will connect to all assets in THIS folder. According to the folder/sub-folder hierarchy, you will have to repeat for all folders.

When all assets have been re-issued of the moment, I would immediately a Save_As, increment the name of the project, in order NOT to overwrite the original files Project - just in case you need to return to that.

    Good luck

How to edit and change words in a PDF file on your ipad, what version should I help me please

    Hi Musicmanat59,

You need Acrobat to edit a PDF file; and it is only available on Mac OS and Windows. There is a free Adobe Reader app for iOS, which allows you to comment on a PDF document, but you wouldn't be able to make any real changes.

    Best,

  • How can I edit the "topic" at WebHelp skin?

Basically, I'm trying to find a way to have a function that I had in MadCap Flare. They call it "Master Pages", but whatever you call them, I need them.

The idea is that I need to have the ability to edit the HTML that surrounds any topic generated by RoboHelp in the output of WebHelp Plus (but, really, I want to do if I ever generate HTML5, too!). Add my own custom toolbar with links to the top, a footer, etc, etc. I want to add is irrelevant, really, but I do not have this requirement.

    So, how is?

Look inside the nacelle of the configuration of a project. You will find a folder of Master Pages. Right click on it and create a new Master Page that opens as a tab topic change what you need and save it. You then assign the present reach the appropriate topics by clicking on it and selecting your Master Page in the properties. If you assign it at various topics, one can find the pod from the list of useful topics you can select multi your subjects and assign the master page only once.

For RAW files, you change the output in ACR profile.

  • It is impossible to edit a RAW file in Photoshop?

I needed to edit an image using the tool clone in Photoshop and opens the file RAW from Lightroom to Photoshop to make the change. When I saved the image it registered as 'filename - Edit.tif' next to the RAW file. I added this image to my catalog so I could keep track of it.

I wanted to really do was make the change to the RAW file and record by overwriting the old file RAW.

I think that maybe it's not possible.

Could you be there someone here tell me why the RAW file could not be modified in Photoshop. Is to ensure that the RAW file will remain original, with only changes that appear in the file of .xmp sidecar? It's beautiful and good, but just dream to ensure that it is the only way that this is possible and that the changes in Photoshop will give a new separate file to save.

    Thank you

    Ken

I wanted to really do was make the change to the RAW file and record by overwriting the old file RAW.

It is indeed as you found impossible.

Could you be there someone here tell me why the RAW file could not be modified in Photoshop.

The reason is that the RAW file is a file mosaicked with data from sensor directly to each pixel. Two of the four pixels usually have a Green filter, while 1 out of four have a red and another 1 to 4 a green pixel. The data is usually stored with 12 or 14 bits of precision for each pixel. All this is inherently incompatible with the model of pixel in a program like Photoshop. To change these files in Photoshop, you have to Demosaic three-channel RGB data complete, making them in some color space, gamma correct them, sharpness, etc. That's what ACR and Lightroom for you. If you cannot change the underlying data using Photoshop. If edit you in Photoshop, you will always create a new file.

PS you may have noticed that edit in Photoshop creates a much larger than the original RAW format tif file. It is because of the patchwork of Bayer. You have a 12 megapixel. When shooting RAW 12 bit, this will result in a 18 MB uncompressed dataset (12MP * 12-bit /(8bits/byte) = 18 MB). Saved compressed losslesly and including a jpeg preview that gets you about 12 MB of a typical RAW file of this camera. When you return this to a 16-bit tiff file, you suddenly a full 3 x 16 = 48 bits per pixel! If this translates into a 72 MB uncompressed tiff file which probably compress to about 50% of that. More than 3 times larger than the original RAW format!
