  • How do you install the previous plug-ins in the new version of Photoshop CC 2014

    Is automatically installed before on other versions, but this one won't pick them up. I see them on my CS6 and work with them on the previous CC, but I don't know how to make them grow in 2014 of CC. Anyone?

    Dear Carosmania

    Adobe not all Addons are compatible with the default CC 2014. You must make reference to the page of each add-on on the Addons (creative.adobe.com/addons) site to find the compatibility window (top right), which will describe the versions of Photoshop that the add-on will work with.

  • Where the tv card plug on hp pavilion dv9655ea, and how do I install it?

    Hi, I bought a HP Pavilion DV9655ea and I am trying to use the TV tuner on it. I have the card, the air thing and the disc. I put in the disk and an error message popped up saying that I must be an administrator to install it, I am the only user on the computer and I'm so obviously an administrator. He said I could run as administrator by typing my username and password, when I typed in wrong, he came 'False graduates' or something, and when I have them correct the same box came back to the top, so I can't install it. The laptop has Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and I know that the original operating system before I bought a Windows Vista. Anyone know how I can install it or operate?

    Also where in the laptop should I put in the TV card, I can't find anywhere where it is located!

  • How can I get files that have been saved without first install Quicktime ALternative 1.81 to play in the first elements 11 Streamclip AVI?

    I had tapes of 'home movie' Hi-8 transferred to mp4 files. To extract the many snippets of these long lines, I used MPEG Streamclip 1.2. The default record for these short sequences was mp4. Either they did not work in Adobe Premiere elements 11 or I thought they wouldn't - I remember now - so I recorded each clip as AVI. These AVI files won't play at all in the elements of Prime Minister. I googled for advice and found that I needed to convert Quicktime alternative 1.81. I'm afraid that this should be done before I saved the clips, but I didn't know that. However, I later uninstalled Quicktime 7 installed Quicktime 1.81 and tried to convert the files first to MP4, AVI clips (did not at all in PE11), then format MOV (played audio only). AVI files play fine in Windows Media Player and VLC.  All I have are the original files saved as AVI in Streamclip. Is it possible to get these play and be editable in first 11 elements? I have attached a capture jpeg from a reading of gspot for one of these files. Thank you!

    I just fixed the problem using Prism video converter.

    Of is complete video of the project seems 'weird' / a little jerky?-elements Village

    I used these settings:

    Output folder: set your backup location

    Output Format: AVI.

    Encoder options: video compressor DV NTSC encoder (Live Show) or peer PAL; His DV audio compressor; Audio 48000 Hz stereo

    Change Options: check the box resize video and point next to shrink or enlarge the video to the selected size (which is 720 x 480 or 720 x 576).

    Hello

    What is a model supported by your version of Windows? You could just plug it in and see if Windows recognizes
    and they get the drivers off of the internet. Although it is recognized that you should always check the manufacturer's website
    new drivers and control software.

    Check with the site of the manufacturer of the camera brand and model you should be able to download the necessary software.

    I hope this helps.

  • Cannot install Quicktime for Windows XP - "network resource is unavailable.

    OK, here are a few basic rules on this issue:

    1. I use Quicktime.msi version 7.72.80.56 on a Windows XP system.

    2 Quicktime MUST be installed from a batch file.  Do not ask why or try to tell me how to do that or tell me there is more easy or better ways to do it.  If you can't help with an command line to the batch file install only, please do not respond.

    3. it is a new PERFECTLY any new installation of Windows XP.  There is NOTHING else on this system.  There has been NO other program of ANY SORT (not Quicktime, not ITunes, not any program from any provider never) installed before on this OS at all.  This operating system has already been used for any purpose.  There was not a single open web page, not only one other task run manually after the installation.  These are all FACTS that are not open to speculation or discussion.  If you want to try to tell me that something is corrupt in my operating system or that there is another program interfering, or that I have a virus, don't answer please.

    4 ONLY Quicktime must be installed.  Period.  If you want tell me trying to install ITunes, or a 3rd party, program, please do not respond.

    Sorry to be a jerk to this topic but I've lost all patience with people who try to tell me that I don't want what I said I mean really or I want something different than what I said that I wanted.  I don't want really really exactly what I'm saying I want.  Trying to prove that you know more that I am offering opinions as to why I should use some program 3rd party or saying that I would not install from a batch file does nothing more to irritate me and lost time that all parties concerned should focus on more useful efforts.

    Now to the questions:

    I try to install Quicktime via a batch file.  I have extracted the QuickTime.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, and AppleApplicationSupport.msi (from QuickTimeInstaller.exe with switch/extract) in the C:\Windows folder.  My batch file is also located there.  Here's what I have in the batch file (only functional lines, other unrelated stuff has been removed):

    @echo installation QuickTime.msi (1/3)

    msiexec /i "C:\Windows\QuickTime.msi" / passive DESKTOP_SHORTCUTS = No. SCHEDULE_ASUW = 0 ASUWINSTALLED = 0

    @echo 1/3 installed!

    @echo installation QuickTime.msi (2/3)

    msiexec /i "C:\Windows\AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi" / passive

    @echo 2/3 installed!

    @echo installation QuickTime.msi (3/3)

    msiexec /i "C:\Windows\AppleApplicationSupport.msi" / passive

    @echo 3/3 installed!

    del %SystemRoot%\Tasks\AppleSoftwareUpdate.job

    This operation fails with no feedback at all.

    Then I tried to type manually in the following:

    msiexec /i "C:\Windows\QuickTime.msi".

    This translates into a window telling me that it can't find QuickTime.msi and it is looking for the following: c:\docume~1\benchm~1\locals~1\temp\ixp927.tmp.  There no record on the system named point mark, or anything similarly similar to this name.  This is an invalid path and name of the file on this computer.

    If I press the Browse button and point to the correct location for QuickTime.msi (C:\Windows), it will work correctly, but is not an option.  It must run unattended and automatically since the batch file.

    Is there a switch (or any other means without assistance) to indicate to the program that QuickTime.msi is located in C:\Windows?  I also tried:

    msiexec /i "% ~ dp0QuickTime.msi" and it also fails.

    The extracted .msi files are not corrupt, they will install if I run them manually, but still, this is not an option.

    Why windows media player is not reading my DVD, and how do I install the windows media player decoder using my disk of windows XP Professional

    FWIW... Win XP cannot natively recognize Commercial
    DVD video... it requires a DVD decoder. And... He
    is not a DVD decoder on your Win XP Pro drive.

    If you could play before commercial video DVD...
    do a system restore to a time before this started
    may be your solution.

    Or you could buy a DVD decoder at the following link:

    (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
    Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Info about DVD decoders:

    Or you can download and use one of the following freeware

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema

    (works on XP/Vista/7)

    Or... you can try to download and install one of the
    Following codec packs.

    (FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
    point before installing any software or updates).

    * Proceed at your own risk *.

    How can I install a scanner gun to my computer without the installation CD

    Scanner (Canoscan 3000 ex)

    I always throw installation CD in the trash as soon as I open all newly purchased equipment.  They are often already overwhelmed.  Go to the website of manufacturers, their support/downloads/drivers section. First update the firmware (if any), then download and install the latest driver.

    For your specific case, a Canon Canoscan 3000ex operation under Windows 7, the driver is already built into Windows. Just to plug the scanner, turn on and Windows should detect it and automatically installs the driver.  Driver updates may be available via Windows Update.

  • How to re - install Windows 7, when I don't have an installation disc

    I have a netbook running Windows 7, Sony that gives warnings of imminent drive failure S.M.A.R.T.. My question is, if I replace the hard drive, how to re - install the OS that I only have a repair on the old disk partition? The drive is still readable, is there a way to copy it to the new drive (maybe by copying them to an external USB drive). I have the key to license available for re - activate.

    Thank you in advance.

    Yes, if the HD is still functional, capable of error free reads and writes, you can attach a new HD in a USB enclosure and clone the drive. Download the appropriate software on the web site of the manufacturer of the car inside. Otherwise, the software is available from 3 parties. E.g. Acronis True Image (not free).

    You describe the Sony as a netbook, so I guess it doesn't have a CD or DVD drive. To use suggestions from Andre Da Costa, you may have to use a plug-in DVD USB drive.  If you do, you can place the original HD in a USB enclosure to copy files from the user to the new drive. You will have to reinstall applications from whatever media you have.

  • I have a few KPT filters I've used in my old photoshop. How do we install in PhotoshopCC?

    I can't find how to install my filters/plug-ins into Photoshop CC

    If it is at all possible, I suspect you would need to install the 32-bit version of CS6 from previous Versions in the Manager Application, and with the help of Google and wind, you _might_ manage.  There was reference to Kai Power Tools in this forum not long there, so it might be doable.  I was always surprised me that nobody did equivalent plug-ins to work with current Photoshop versions, as the tools of KP had very cool effects and there were so many of them.  The closest I can think of, are the Flaming Pear plugins.
