  I posted a question, but it was published, and I think that I misunderstood.

  I own a Tecra M11-103 it has both a vga port/bus (I'm not sure what to call it) and a mini displayport.
  Everything worked fine until, in the middle of watching TV (laptop was connected to the TV via hdmi adapter mini displayport has) something was wrong, and since then the port is not identified... the vga port works fine but the mini displayport simply ceased to recognize each time a cable is plugged...

  How can I reinstall the port itself?

• Tecra M11-103 - no sound on TV with HDMI

  I really need your help,

  Until today, that I used a mini adapter displayport to HDMI to connect my Tecra M11-103 to the TV while doing something today that happened and all of a sudden, I got video with no sound on the tv when I tried to unplug the device and plug it in again, he would show at all and would not recognize the tv in the future...

  Now when I go to the windows Mobility Center when the cable is conneceted as usual, I predd on connect monitor, it behaves as if there is an external display, but on the display when trying to identify the motiors example I plugged under the option double screen.
  so he recognizes my laptop as external screen and the pc monitor...
  Way the easiest would be to display an image on the screen of what I see, but I can't do it here...

  Anyway all of a sudden he tells me it's a vga connection, regardless of wethear or not theres even a cable connected...
  I need to recover my back... mini display port where I can c what happened if its damaged or something please Ive spent hours trying to sort and nothing works... it isn't the TV for sure...
  I run windows 7 pro 64 bit and I tried to restore the operating system...

  Generally the connection to the TV shouldn't be very difficult.
  Must connect two devices with a compatible cable, and then you have to go to the external video output using the FN + F5 key combination.

  I agree with Quad, such an option is not available I think. I've never heard

  But in general the battery will pay no more if it s at full charge. So it of not necessary to remove the battery. :)

  Hi I recently had to format my toshiba tecra 9000 hardrive.

  Very simple;

  -Download the XP driver from the Toshiba page
  -Unzip the ZIP driver package
  -Go to Device Manager, select the graphics card and the update (the driver installation)
  -then choose the option install from list or specific location, then Don t find. I will choose the driver to install
  -Choose the driver downloaded and unzipped file
  -to complete the installation and restart the laptop

• Tecra M11 - 103 accupoint 2 double-click randomly instead of 1-click

  I get an annoying problem whem, click the left accupoint button, designated as the 'click' in the accupoint settings. He sometimes of doubleclick instead. someone has experienced this problem? found a solution?

  Windows 7 pro 64-bit.

  All of a sudden I turn on my laptop (TECRA M11-103) 2 years old or so, after hibernation, and I get an X on the battery icon, even when the load and a warning saying I should replace my best.

  On my Satellite A300 battery is depicted with red X all the time and I know for sure that the battery is defective. Maybe you should replace the battery.

  You cannot pass the VRAM chips, they are soldered to the circuit board.

  On some machines, you can dynamically increase the VRAM by installing more RAM System. Enjoy reading your user manual.

  I don't have this model of laptop, but as far as I know, these buttons can be defined by the user. So try please start button configuration tool and check if the option is where you define which application should be open to each button.

• Tecra M11 - very low audio volume

  I have a Tecra M11 for a few months and I am overall very happy with my new laptop.

  A question I have is the speaker volume level. When I play the video or the sound of music is about audible, even with the speakers lining and the relevant channels appeared in the volume mixer in Windows 7.

  When I open volume mixer I see that the speaker volume is at max, where is the application that plays music. I can't bar which moves vertically to show the level of the sound playback, a green one, and it does not go beyond 25% of the full bar.

  Everyone experienced, or got any advice on how I can get my speakers a little harder?

• Tecra M11 - random crashes with Windows 7

  We had a Toshiba Tecra M11 Windows 7 who has a problem in which he randomly falls down, forcing the user to hard it reboot. When it crashes, the fans to the top spin, don't know if that means anything. We tried many things to fix.

  At first, we thought it might be overheating, which would explain the fan, but the laptop has been through a 24-hour stress test absolutely perfect with normal temperatures. The laptop is not necesarrily do something stressful when it fails we also tried reinstalling some of the key drivers and also intalled the BIOS more recent (2.60), but still the same problem.

  It breaks down up to 2 times per day, but can also go a few days without crashing. It's a very strange problem and we would highly appreciate a fix for it.

  Maybe it s RAM related question RAM memory may be affected and would force the OS crashing
  I put t know if that would be helpful, but try to test the memory, run the memtest86 utility
  But note; These controls are not always successful means that even the memory is faulty, the error may not be detected by these software

  Have you tried to reinstall the OS?
  This should be done as well.

• Tecra M11 - 11J - cannot install Windows 7 64 bit

  Tried to upgrade a Tecra M11 - 11J for Windows 7 64-bit.
  The installation gets all the "Loading Windows files" screen, then turns off and freezes, with the release of maxing out CPU fan but no HARD disk activity.

  Have tried to reinstall XP (works fine), flashing the BIOS to the latest version, re-seats of the RAM, change the HARD drive in "Compatibility" mode and reinstall Win 7 - same problem.

  Have you tried Win 7 32 bit - the same problem.
  Installation of USB, instead of DVD - same problem.
  Different flavors of Win 7 - same problem!

  It's extremely frustrating.
  I upgraded the memory up to 8 GB, hoping to take advantage of this with W7x64 and now I'm stuck with a XP machine and 4 GB of of of the RAM to lose.

  Would be very grateful for any suggestion.

  Recently, I connected a network cable for my laptop. This cable seems to be a Poe cable. Ethernet standard, but with a power supply to power a video conference phone.

  After this event, my network card does not work. Ethernet lights don't work. My windows 7 says that a cable is not connected.

  In Device Manager, I uninstalled the network device and when I'm looking for material changes it finds my network device but it still does not work. It is not a software problem.

  Is it possible for this Poe cable to have fried my Ethernet card?
  Any suggestions to resurrect my Ethernet?

  To be honest I put t have experience with these issues but if you want to test how the hardware install original recovery image and test the operation of the equipment with the settings.

  It is certainly the best way to test the operation of the equipment.
