How do the battery do not sliding of the laptop?
Hello:
I replaced a new battery on DELL Latitude D620 the other day and found the battery often sliding laptop causing the "blackout" of DELL Latitude D620. The cause is that the left side of the bottom of sliders of the laptop, no committed property,... most probably a stem was broken.
Any idea to keep the battery slide?
Thank you
It seems that if the battery is not of the appropriate type for your computer or the computer's battery lock is broken. Either it is a hardware problem and should be treated by a repair service approved by Dell or other reputable, trustworthy.

How do the laptop screen display the projection screen? I thought it was function F5 (Fn + F5), but it does not work.
Can anyone help?
Hello
Yes, you must use the FN + F5 to switch to the external monitor or external projector, etc.
You must first connect the laptop with a projector, while both devices are turned off.
After connecting the projector you could power the laptop. Then try to switch to external projector using the FN + F5 key combination

Percentage of battery is not when the IPhone works on a charge
Hello world
I am new to Apple as a client so still getting used to the phone and it's features.
I recently bought the Iphone 6 s more and I noticed that when I charge it and it is turned off or turned off it does not show the battery charge or how much the battery has charged as in an Android phone or when you turn off your phone and charge the battery sign appears showing the percentage that the battery is charged.
P.S I know the battery percentage look something available that only works when the phone is turned on as in when the phone is turned on.
Would appreciate an insight as to if IPhones as a thumbrule will not display the percentage of battery charge when it is turned off and charged or should I worry?
Thanks in advance
Kat (> "o" <)
If you're in charge, click on the wake up/sleep/power on button to see the percentage below the time.
You can also turn on
Settings > Batteries > battery percentage to see the percentage in the upper part of the right status bar.

Satellite L500-1KK - how to the maximum battery time?
Hello
1. it is indicated on the product specifications L500-1kk expected autonomy is about 03:20 Hrs use mobile brand! However, I was using my laptop for almost a year now, the maximum battery time I get is 02:15 Hrs, whenever I load my mobile suit, the battery still bar program shows me this maximum time remaining! I use the default power settings!
2. most intriguing, is that my sister used another laptop, its battery is approximately the same capacity that mine, around 43200 mWh, us both using Windows 7 Ultimate (she 32bits, I, 64-bit version), but its battery time is at least 4.5 Hrs. Why is this, and how I would maximize my battery time!
3. Finally, her laptop is new (4 months, yet battery pro program shows that the battery wear rate is 7%, my laptop is almost a year and it shows a wear rate of 1.3%, I use mostly my laptop while the power is plugged in, unplugged rarely!) Is their an explanation to the different rates of wear?
Thank you
Hello
To be honest, I think a battery about 02:15 hours is good and I think that everything is ok with your laptop. My new Satellite A500 I also only 2.5 hours if I running on battery, sometimes less than 2 hours or less. That s always according to the applications you run.

Well, it s the same you compare two cars with the same ch from different manufactures a car's fuel consumption higher than the other car, even it have the same hp. Why? Well, the different manufacturers using different parts: other tires, gears, weight, dray of air, etc.You can compare two identical notebooks or cars from the manufacturing even to find a problem, but * not * from different manufacturers. ;)

Update the BIOS on a Tecra M5 - 386 when the battery is not recogised.
My battery is not seen by my Tecra M5, but still fresh and feeds the laptop, I found info that offers as well as an upgrade of the BIOS might help, but the software update me gives an error message "[error] AC adapter is not connected, or battery power is not enough." How can I update the BIOS by bypassing the software security device? Told me on another forum that execution of the update .exe with /forceit BIOS in the CMD window that did not work. Can anyone help please.
In most cases, the update of the BIOS does not solve battery problems
Maybe the battery starts to malfunction because of age.I would recommend replacing the battery first!
By the way; I guess the while the update of the BIOS error because of the software required missing; If you are using Win XP, then you must install page European driver of Toshiba common Modules. If you are using Windows 7 you must install VAP (value added package)

Satellite A30 - electric light flashes and the battery does not charge
Hi guys,.
I have the model above and recently, when I plug in my power cord to the back of the laptop instead of the usual constant green light loading, the indicator flashes and the light orange low battery always flashes as well.
I have checked the plug, unplugged the power cord from the laptop and plugged back again but does not help. A few times it started loading so everything went well and now he again refuses to load.
Any suggestions how I can solve this will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
Dante
Looks like a hardware problem
Usually if the power light blinks then it does not sound good because the LED provides an error code which can be read by a technician for laptop
But before you will contact the technician for laptop for help, try to do it:
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter from the portable computer
Wait about 20-30 minutes and then reconnect the two parts. Then try to turn on the laptop
If it doesn t help that it s time for the call of the ASP

The battery is not satellite A105-s4364
I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A105-s4364 (winXP) year. 6 months later, my battery won't charge and no power at all. I even if the battery is bad, so I just use my a/c. 2 months later, I bought a new battery (it has 40% of the power when I buy).
So I install the new battery and the battery light on, I am that everything will be ok. 4 hours later, I disconnect the a/c, the a/c & battery light flashing and still says 40% of the battery power. This means that only a not charge my battery.
So I went to the Web from Toshiba site, they said the need to update the Bios to correct the problems. So I installed the new Bios software. But it does not solve my pc.
Still does not and can not turn on my pc with battery, that means it will not turn on if I just plug the a/c (before no need to turn any time with battery).
What I do now, first install my battery, the power light and connect the a/c, but the light will be off about 2 seconds, so I need to plug the a/c in 2 sec.
The very bad, it is does not charge my battery, but my pc needs the battery to turn on and now the battery has only 11% of the power.I don't know anyone use Toshiba, so nobody can't help me to charge the battery.
Anyone know how to fix or has the same happen b4?
Very needing help here, hope you guys understand what I have said here.Thank you very much!
Hello
> 2 months later, I bought a new battery (it has 40% of the power when I buy).
It's very strange because of my knowledge, the new battery must be completely empty.
In any case, according to the details in your ad, I think supply electronic books could malfunction. It's very strange:
> What I do now, first install my battery, the power light and connect the a/c, but the light will be off about 2 seconds, so I need to plug the a/c in 2 sec. The very bad, it is does not charge my battery, but my pc needs the battery to turn on and now the battery has only 11% of the power.
Usually, you should be able to turn on the laptop using the AC adapter only.
The battery should t be necessary and you should be able to use the laptop without the battery also.I think that the battery and the adapter must be checked first place and if the two parties would be authorized technician must check the electronic power supply.
Sorry, but that's all I can suggest at this time.

Hello. I just bought an Iphone 6s MORE and just updated to iOS 9.2 and I had this problem with applications that consume my battery is to say the list of applications that drain the battery does NOT appear when I click on settings > battery. And also I meet another problem that is my standby and usage time appeared at the same time even if I SLEEP there during the entire period. Someone of you this problem? If yes kindly share here how you can solve the problem
Force restart the phone now sleep and home for 10 seconds, button until the Apple logo comes back again.
You won't lose data, but which can cure some problems after installing new software.
The same use and waiting time is a sign for some applications, always running in the background, even when the phone is in standby. Restart will force close those apps.
The list of applications appears only when you used some applications for some time.

Anyones answer is welcome to the 21/08/11.
Thanks to one that meets responsibly!
Hi Raymond,
Possibilities:
1. bad adapter. Check the status in the BIOS. That's what it was when this happened to me about 4 months ago. The battery even though the battery was fine and worked fine llaptop off voltage AC, BIOS did not recognize it as the appropriate adapter type and therefore not allow.
2. bad battery. They go bad--and sometimes a little quickly (as you will notice that if you have an extended warranty on the laptop, it does not include the battery). Check the status in the BIOS. Remove the battery, use the air to empty the room and a soft cloth to wipe the contacts. Reinsert the battery and see if that helps.
3 motherboard problem with connectors or wiring between them. Very hard to tell her that's it--usually replaced if replacing the other two does not work.
It is unlikely to be software-related. This reeks of hardware problem. Contact the manufacturer's technical assistance service and see if they have any suggestions on how to better ID the cause (and get costs for spares for each of the elements so that you know).
I have listed them in my view of probability. You of that or the other need to find someone with the same computer you that can let you borrow the battery and the adapter long enough to test (then you will probably be able to IDENTIFY the problem). Or you can buy the pieces one at a time and see which works (I hope the first) - and try to get a guarantee of full refund for any reason, so you don't spend money on parts, that you don't need. You must send it to the manufacturer for repair or take it to a local computer repair shop good reputation for service.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
PS Si the adapter is plugged into a surge protector, try a different surge protector, or plug it directly into the wall to rule out a defective surge protector.
