  It must be karma. (Try really bad karma because I couldn't post this question in my original)

  I must have been a Really bad guy in a previous life...  It's not like I'm bad in this one...

  So... what I want to do this time around?  Something that I thought would be easy... Well... it's a long story...  I had a simple solution, but the client wants something else.  -sigh-

  Here is what they want...  They want a control that allows for multiple selections to a control of the ring (or a control that allows a drop down selection menu).  Bites are filled at run time because it is based on 10 000 other precedents of things this particular choice.  So it must be dynamic.

  The snippet of code & images below show what I'm doing a little...

  The bottom image shows on the right bites which is filled in the control of the ring.  Since the number of items / items changes, I didn't have a bunch of controls stacked on another.  In addition, I have to deal with an unknown quantity of selections.

  Does anyone have a solution that can be recommended?  If so, can you share the solution / idea?

  It uses a table hint and individual controls that are moved on top of the table and populated as needed.  This approach might work for you?  You would need a two-column table and only control ring, which you would fill properly whenever the currently active cell changes.

  I've been wrestling with this for several hours. Just trying to change one of the examples provided in LV2014.

  1 I add a control, in the command window, a tab as the original controls as you can see on Ref [1], I added the extra and the farm AND Boolean Y & Z, tested and it works very well. This seems to work on any tab, in other words, I click on the tab I want and select a control I want a TI works fine.

  2nd I want to actually control the same appearance, see Ref [2]. I could not figure out how to copy and control the moose in the control panel user interface, but has been able to copy and paste the control into the block diagram. However, the control is not associated with the tab and is it should be a simple mater of shuffling to the active tab but not!

  Also is there some explanation why two Boolean z, that I did slip on the tab seems different than Y Boolean in the block diagram window? Is this because the Y Boolean has been customized?

  I have 16 ESX host. Some of the hosts reach very hight CPU use, up to 98%, although some are as low as 52%. I understand DRS moves virtual machines only when you have to. I wonder how often it checks. Is there a set period of time, or DRS works in real time to check the hosts. Virtual machines are finally left guests busy, although guests were constantly busy today, about 90% + CPU, while some have been systematically 50%.

  On the 16 hosts, we have configured 1 host failover capability and the current capacity of 11 host failover. Affinity rules apply only to a limited number of virtual machines (about 6) of about 300.

  By default DRS is called every 300 seconds.

  The description of the metafonts sheds some light on this issue; It basically says that for a police metafont predefined size is not an absolute value and can change... The solution uses the fonts provided by the operating system, for example, Arial.

  I want to open a Subvi, which is one of the many slot - VI with the same input and output.  But I can't seem to find a way to go directly to one of the terminals.  I think I found a part of the solution in this thread (http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-can-i-get-the-reference-to-Controls-from-VI-reference/m-p/510319...), but I'm kind of stuck right before the finish line, I think. -Can someone help me with this?

  Below you can see what I have so far.  The path will be changed runtime based on the config files, but controls entry and exit in VI will always be the same.  As you can see, I tried wiring in the type of the VI to the open reference VI block.  I've also attached the sub - VI which indicates what controls and indicators that are used.

  I made a slideshow on LabView VI, who also monitors data in real time to a data logger.

  The program works like this: -.

  Start/Page 1:-bottom pane displays a nice screenshot. A set of indicators displays the data in real time. Switches to Page 2 after 20 seconds.

  Page 2:-background to an another screenshot. Hide indicators in real time and a set of three graphs appear, displaying historical data. Switches after 20 years.

  Page 3 etc:-hide charts and indicators, a 'slide show' appears by changing the history pane. Back to page 1 after the sequence.

  Everything works fine, except for one thing: I can't hide indicators and background to change at once, resulting in a clumsy "discrepancy" between the two.

  I did one VI example to illustrate this. Simply select two separate images to the façade, run the VI and toggle the Boolean control to see what I mean.

  Any idea how to get indicators and background of change at the same time?

  have you tried to "DeferPanelUpdates" when you power on? This is a property of the component...

  So David value = TRUE, do all the switching, to redefine Defer to FALSE!
