How do you attach a 'job action' of a droplet? The menu is there...

This has been discussed before, but I could not find a recent conversation that relates to the latest version...

Compressor 4.2.1 OS X 10.11.2

As noted earlier, when saving a SETTING as a DROPLET, it doesn't seem to be a way to attach a REVENDICATIVE ACTION. You can add a job ACTION in the compressor interface itself.

Yet, when you drop a file on the drop you see a menu of ACTION WORK... it is simply not available.

So, how do you get a JOB ACTION appears here?

Take one of the built-in presets that includes a work action (as published on Vimeo) and reproduce them. Rename it. In the Inspector > Description > Action, select the action of those on the list. In the settings list, open the disclosure triangle to reveal the A / V settings and in the Inspector to make the adjustments you need. Once completed, in the settings list, control click > save as drop.

    I tried to put each line of the form for amounts of specificity so that it ends at some point and does not change the text size to fit on the line but different key characters have different widths, so you do not get a length of the same line.

    I tried to remove the long text scrolling, but it changed nothing.

    I can create a text box great to fill out and have this scrolling of additional lines, but then I get too much information from people and I would need to clarify the lines behind the answer multi line text, or delete the lines...

    Is there a better solution?

    I usually just remove the lines and set the field "Does not scroll long text" so that all the text is visible. Including the lines is really only useful if the form may be printed and completed by hand, in which case you can use scripts as in this example is: http://acroscript.net/pdf/demos/multiLine_Demo1.pdf

    It works as expected in Acrobat/Reader, but not in Chrome and other PDF viewers who have little or no support for JavaScript. It uses scripts customized to validate on Focus and blur.

    Now you can access the folder in the list of programs.

    Please note that what you are looking for is Palm Desktop 4.1.4E.  The E stands for "extended", which is required for the fields in the database of contacts who use the T5 and E2.  If you only download the version 4.1.4 (without the E), you will lose this feature on your desktop.  I think both versions are also the same.

    You will notice that the E2 is not in the list for version 4.1.4E.  It is only because they now recommend the new version (6.2) which was designed for Vista desktop computers.  Unless you have a Vista desktop, you gain nothing by using version 6.2 and you actually lose some features.

    I want ot know how works the Viewer application tells wich folio downlaod on a specific device, it must. Let me explain.

    We have created 2 sheets having the same content and all the same info (sheet name, name of the publication, etc.) well, all the same information except the product ID because the person that entered the inapp in itunes stores and the android store made a small typo.

    The thing is that on the android devices (we test on samsung Galaxy tab 10-inch (1280 x 800 screen resolution) and the flyer htc) it dowloads ipad folio.

    So my question is, if I do 2 folios and want all android devices to download that we do for android (due to limitations in videos) and want only ipad to download the ipad, do - what I have to do?

    When you configure the formats associated with Android, you create renditions 1232 x 752 and 1024 x 600 at least. That covers most of the devices, although there are a few new 1024 x 768 Android devices, including the AT & T device impermeable to water. If you create three renditions - 1232 x 752, 1024 x 768 and 1024 x 600 - you will effectively cover all of the great features currently supported. When the phones are supported, and when the iPad3 comes out, you'll want to probably to add more "rendition".

    Ok. I understand what they want now. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve what they want. A consequence of resizing of the window, is that you lose focus on what is selected in the section. This is something that affects all windows, not only the CHM files. Try selecting part of a web page and the resizing of the window. The same happens.

    In the "Downloads" one window entry right click and choose 'open containing folder '. This will open the folder where the downloaded file is stored and you can copy it to the desired location / device.

    Choose "Tools" > "Options" > "Général" you shows the path to the folder where Firefox is save the downloads, but does not open the folder itself. You can see the downloads folder path near the entrance "save files to" around the middle of the window. If the full path is not visible, click "Browse". Here you can also change the location where Firefox is save downloads. For example you can replace your removable storage if the unit is installed and always available.

    On the homescreen torch, you tap the 'all' downstairs bar to view the full menu. When you touch the bar once again it closes the application menu.

    When I got the torch the menu, when closed, displays only a row of 4 applications (SMS, browser, etc.) but I must have pressed something without knowing or changed a setting if it showed no apps at all, when I closed the menu. I preferred this as I love the home screen just show the background on the phone and not cluttered.

    However, it has changed back recently and is now showing TWO rows of apps now not even one! and cannot for the life of figure me out how to change it back?

    Simply touch and drag down to the bottom of the screen. You will then see just the arrow ^ (you can change this way of 0 to 3 lines of icons). Then, when you tap on the bar with the arrow, you will get your full screen, the icons back.
