How do you define the spacing of the desktop in 32 bit Windows Vista icon

Under XP, as everyone knows, you can go into the properties of click with the right button on the desktop and find how to set the spacing of icon in there.  But that doesn't seem to be the way in Vista?  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you

Specific method of Vista

Right click on desktop--> personalize--> display--> Windows Color settings
and the appearance--> are open for more color classic appearance properties
options of--> advanced > Item (drop)--> spacing icon (horizontal)
and the icon spacing (vertical)

Kind regards
