  I try to install the Browser Appliance v10.0 in VMware Player without success despite trying countless hours over the past five days, this software is certainly not newbie friendly :)

  I tried many different ways to try to install it in VMware Player during the last five days, but nothing seems to work, I installed Ubuntu in VMware Player and then tried to find a way to install the device browser in Ubuntu, but nothing works.

  You misunderstood Standby memory... it is used.  Standby memory contains data or code that is being cached, but not currently in use.  Windows 7 handles this, and you may not turn on or off...

  You can probably affect how windows handles by adjusting your pagefile, but reduce the size of the pagefile doesn't look likely to reduce Standby memory... it is likely to increase, because there is less space to write the data to disk.
  And your swap file was not 12 000 GBs!

  In trying to build a repro step by step, I found the problem!  My tests were launched from a different directory, so there's a different set of images for the memory of Simulator .dmp!

  I now have 'saved' a series of images .dmp so that my tests can go back to a known state.
