  Without going into the details of why I need to do this, I'm putting the firewall of Windows XP in one allow all the configuration of ports and only refuse some ports I have in a list.

  Sorry? What Windows XP disc? Do you mean Office XP? If so, it's
  least in part right. It is not completely compatible with Windows 7.
  You may be able to use it, but some things will not work, or do not work

  OpenOffice is a free office suite which is quite similar to Microsoft
  Office (which is far from free).  You won't find one word, but you
  try to use its processor, which looks a lot like Word.

  I think you want, what is now called the "title bar". It displays at the top of the window and displays the title of the current page (the full version of what appears on the tab of the page).

  If it seems that this could be the right thing, you can activate the title bar and turns off using the personalization feature. See:

  One thing to check is the following.

  Open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and then open Services.  Make sure that the following services (order of th specified below check them) are all showing that status = started and the Startup Type = Automatic

  If you need to make a change to one of the above, just right-click the service and select Properties, and then in the drop-down list box next to "Startup Type", select automatic and click on apply to save the changes.  Then click on the Start button.
