How do you store high quality screen (1080) using quicktime player?

My quicktime player doesn't have a choice of quality option.

After you are done save your screen, click on file > export

Then, it gives you options for resolution. Your computer screen is better than 1080 p, so it is always saved in HD, but it must be "dumbed down" to sites like YouTube.

It would also be useful to know what model of MacBook Pro and the operating system you are using so that we know which version of Quicktime Player you use. My hypothesis is El Capitan and Yosemite.

  • Import photos look pixelated. How can I get high quality? [was: Jeff Waters]

    I am producing a book and by inserting the digitised photographs.  The problem is that a lot of photos are pixelated as long as I can see them in "normal" mode.  Most, but not all are clear when I go to the 'presentation' view, but some come to ok, then a few seconds later, they become very grainy.   Here are my questions:

    1. all print ok regardless of the view?

    2. What is the best protocol to import?   I'm currently scanning at 1200 dpi, import in Lightroom where I edit, then export as tiff or jpeg with a resolution of 400 pixels per inch.

    How is quality, if you click with the right mouse click on an image and change the display quality.

    If you print, you should not print directly from InDesign, export to PDF and print from Acrobat.

    Important in InDesign is the effective resolution, normally of high quality, it comes to 300ppi, images are used in RGB with color profile, if transparency is included use psd, otherwise use a jpg with quality.

  • How do you store your photos on an external hard drive?

    Revel recommends storing your files on the computer 1. None of my friends have sufficient storage capacity. The fact only my external hard drive. How can I move where Revel is to store Photos on a Mac to an external drive? I am a teacher with many different students to the storage aid and my Mac crashes because of this problem. When I bought the award-winning teacher and student of Revel version is unlimited storage capacity. But when I installed and he wanted to have 1 computer to store files on I am now in storage issues on my internal HD HELP!

    We do not have the possibility to designate a different location to store photos on the Mac. Has been suggested and we are looking for in a future version that we realize that many of the recent macs have only flash memory and it is limited. If you're runnign out of space, you can disable save originals and use an external hard drive to back up photos from your computer and other devices manually for now. I currently have a better solution for you.

    I'm not aware of any version techer or student of revel, just a free version and a version of subscription.

  • Session variable: How do you know where all that is used in the repository?

    Hi all

    We have a requirement where we need to convert a few session variables in variables to repository. For this we need to know where everything is this used in the repository and webcat session variable (including all logical columns use, which all guests use etc.). We tried the utility application, but that did not help. Is there another way to know that? You will really appreciate the pointers on your side.

    Thanks in anticipation,
    Karan

    Hello

    To search for variables used in,

    RPD: Open the RPD-> go to the Tools Menu-> select 'Utilities'-> 'Documentation repository '. This will generate a CSV with associations

    WebCAT: Open the using webcat catalogue Manager-> Tools Menu-> create report - select the desired columns (column Xml include)-> open the rpeort in excel find-> 'Variable' of what you can find the different variables used in the catalogue.

  • How to create a computer virtual file VHD using VMWare Player?

    I created a .vhd file using disk2vhd which contains my drive system (a Windows 7 installation). I would like to create a virtual machine using VMware Player of this image, but I have been unable to do. Can someone help me?

    Thank you very much

    Mike

    You were quite right about the execution of my VM from an external drive USB - no problem at all.

    Today experiences confirm that:

    (a) I can run my VMS on Windows 7 and Windows 8 from an external USB

    (b) VMPlayer can create files hard greater than 2 TB in size (on Windows 7 and Windows 8 guests)

    (c) I can't reach my Data.VHDX file on my Windows 8 host

    (d) I can set up as a shared folder inside my VM on Windows 8

    (e) I can copy files from the shared folder to a drive on my virtual machine.

    Certainly, this closes this discussion - thanks a lot for your help.

  • How to make the high quality look smooth and not grainy photo?

    I uploaded a picture of my camera and when I change it on Photoshop, it seems pretty grainy.
    I'm doing an assignment for my photography class where I have to imitate the project of photographer and I chose this picture http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/_pinkpornstar_/1198725/322258/322258_original.jpg.

    However, once I took the picture, I have now is quite high in quality and import it in Photoshop, I can't find a way to make it more clear than "professional" photos out there!

    I know that if I Zoom, it becomes less grainy, but even after I record and zoom, the picture is still not as smooth as the one I aim.

    Is it because of the settings that I used while taking the photo?

    PS: Sorry for this fundamental issue, I'm a noob to this.

    JPEG quality is never (or not as high as possible). Shoot raw and process in Camera Raw, where you have total control over all other treatment and noise reduction settings.

    JPEGs are self-treated behind doors closed, highly compressed and throw large amounts of data.

  • How do you get the smaller screen I can see the theme?

    I downloaded a theme from Charlie Brown and because the Firefox screen is so large, I see only the top of the head of Charlie Brown, Snoopys.

    Assuming you're talking about a light Theme (formerly Personas), the picture above will not fully be displayed unless you have 6 to 9 toolbars displayed on the top of the browser window.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/themes/

    If you want to see more of this image, add empty toolbars via the function "Customize."

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/customize-Firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars

    You will need to add at least one empty space to each new toolbar, you create, or the new toolbar will not only save may not be completely empty.

  • How do you change the display screens during execution of the program?

    I would like to have a LabVIEW screen with a list of test Vi to run, and then select one to display.

    In addition, then return to the main screen.

    Thank you

    Looks like a project...

    Side main VI:

    Creata a dropdown list (use ring/enum control) with list of the test screw...

    now, create an event "value change" for control... to capture the current value of the control.

    use of the VI attached as main VI...

    and sub VI

    on close event, get the reference of the main VI and use the property node 'open front'... to return to main VI

    or you can close VI main when you cal a test Vi and re open the main VI when you close any criterion VI...

  • How do you prevent updateLayout during screen change.

    I don't know if I thought that, but I think I read somewhere once that it is possible to 'lock' the layout as you work in it.

    For example, I now call you deleteAll() in a Manager custom that I created, just to add a few new custom fields and add even some abandoned fields.

    The problem is that when I call deleteAll() for this, a call to sublayout and custom fields are not there and then he complained abuot that. * Bleep *, I know that they are not there and I don't want to put a giant if around them in the method sublayout, just to see if they are childs of the Manager or not.

    Is there something else I can do? as:

    stopUpdatingLayout();

    reArrangeEverything();

    nowYouCanUpdateLayoutAgain();

    THX

    RGS,

    Dan

    I have an idea: do the first level or even screen Manager custom with the following substitution of sublayout:

    protected void sublayout(int width, int height) {
      boolean layoutDisabled = false;
      synchronized (this) {
        layoutDisabled = this._layoutDisabled;
      }
      if (layoutDisabled) {
        setExtent(width, height); // makes sense for MainScreen, FullScreen etc.
      } else {
        super.sublayout(width, height);
      }
    }

    Protect the place where you do all your deleteAll() / add manipulations like this:

    myMainScreen.layoutDisable(true); // a synchronized method setting _layoutDisabled (see above)
    UiApplication.getUiApplication().suspendPainting(true);
    //...
    // Adding / deleting fields goes here
    //...
    UiApplication.getUiApplication().suspendPainting(false);
    myMainScreen.layoutDisable(false);
    UiApplication.getUiApplication().relayout(); // force the re-layout after we enabled it

    Just some pseudo-code - hope you can see what I mean...

  • Images still appear too pixelly designing with still on high quality screen

    I find it really difficult to design in indesign lately as even on the highest setting the images appear pixely in preview. Aligning several images ontop of each other or make a pixel perfect design is really a lot of time.

    My CPU and graphics card is not used much, why indesign cannot return to a better quality? Is there a setting I'm missing?

    Thank you!

    The best thing I can think for you here is to place your PNGs in Illustrator.

    Add the text/icons/arrows/or whether you need from here.

    Save it as a file .ai with a compatible pdf.

    Then place in InDesign.

    I know it's in a bread PITA to have to replicate all the work you have already done - but you will be much more accurate.

    Sorry if this isn't the answer you're looking for.
