Thanks for the reply. I tried to reinstall the integration features in the past, but the problem has come back at a later date. A few days after I posted this request for assistance, I needed to log out of Windows 7, so I hibernated the XP Mode image. Then, I opened a session in Windows 7 and thought I'd give it a try once again, and it worked this time! I did nothing special. So hopefully that will happen in the future, just as it went and on the past few months. Enjoyed your attempt to offer advice, however!

I just got a pavilion DV6-7010us... I have always used the INSERT key when I copy data and insert into a message, chat screen, document... this computer has a key of INS/PRT SC. I can't get the key to insert data into almost anything. How do you use this key? or is there another way to insert data that you copied, into something... ??? I'm used to use Shift + Insert key on my old laptop. Right now, I try to keep in my mind to use the mouse to insert data... but would like to be able to use the key on the laptop keyboard.

You must identify your laptop for each of us to have a clue as to what looks like your keyboard. There are so many models of HP to be precise.

Remove the battery and look for the label that says p/n. Post this string alphanumeric together here. It is your HP product number. G6 or dv6 and dv7 are all just model numbers.

You can also do this by using Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. That's what most people use to copy and paste in most applications and productivity programs.

Because Windows 7 has the capture tool, I didn't even use the Ins or Prt Scr.

OK it's on my other desktop Lenovo ThinkPad ThinkCenter A61 model type 9120CT 0, with XP Professional. This calculation allows to logoff users once they have logged in. So I went in Rescue Recovery 4 and has a completely restored system since the last backup. There was a widow of MISTLETOE and a button to select. It wasn't a problem because we did not all pictures stored in this computer. (Thank God!).

Now at least user can connect, go to Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer etc...! I'm still trying to understand if there are other problems outstanding. So far have not found any :)

I think you want, what is now called the "title bar". It displays at the top of the window and displays the title of the current page (the full version of what appears on the tab of the page).

Why do I get an error message when you use the windows installer?

OK, I am trying to install the Chipset drivers using windows install. I go to the gigabyte website and download the drivers from the chipset support and downloads. I go in the config file and click on the chipset of windows file install. It gives me the error "this installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid installer package. "I made sure I got the download of the good mother Rev. and the right windows (x 64) option. IM at my wits end. I've asked this question before but cannot get a straight answer from anyone. He has this annoying 1 cm around my screen black line. This isn't my moniter and it isn't my video drivers.
