  I don't know all the details, but I would say you got it mostly right - there is an implicit conversion to a more generic type.  You will see this in several places in LabVIEW, for example, you can wire references to different types of controls in "table to build" to get a picture of their more specific common parent.  Because you're only casting reference - not the data that it contains, there is no loss of data.  A LabVIEW reference is just an I32 is (I assume) an index into a lookup table somewhere.  The value of this I32 does not change when it is converted into a more generic reference.  When you do "to more specific Type", LabVIEW raises this reference in the table and uses the data it found to determine if she can make the cast.  Who help me?

The question I faced which was the sign that I was getting a pair of accelerometers and through an amp. in my DAQ board felt an offset in voltage for a short period every second iteration 1. It turns out that the problem is that my laptop and the AGP were grounded. Once I disconnected the signal ground in the shift of the signal amp went.

If a PC has none of the resolutions you display a message that prompts the user to change the resolution, before it run your executable file.

  You must open the Program Files NI License Manager > National Instrument > NI License Manager. Then select your labVIEW active (green), right click and disable.  This frees up the initial Activation.  Now you can format the PC and not lose activation.

  I developed an application that uses several external libraries: JKI JSON string, Datagrid, etc... Under the build properties destinations, I select Main.exe. Under source code file settings, I have everything marked 'Set destinations for all content items' = Main.exe, 'Set destinations for packaged and shared libraries' = Main.exe.

  However, when the build is finished, I still find that JKI libraries are still in separate folders. There are literally dozens of JKI files, each of them contains 1 or 2 screws in addition, the same for the equipment operators.

• How do I program labview to read all 8 compact fieldpoint modules?

  I am new to fieldpoint and I my set-up block diagram to read 8 strain gauges using a SG-140 module.  My basket is filled with strain gauge modules 8 SG-140, and I need to know how to fix my diagram to read all 8 modules of SG - 140.  So, I need a total of 64 strain gauge readings 8 modules of SG - 140.  Can I do this without really copying what I've already done 8 times more?  Is it possible to use a loop or something to read the 7 other modules?  I appreciate any help I can get.

  My opinion about not having to duplicate the table of index based on what your VI was showing at the time.  Once you have the VI implemented with multiple modules, then you will need to implement an array of unique Index stretched far enough to get all the channels of interest.  From a 2D array, you need to connect both the row index and column index for a single scalar element.  So first channel would be 0 and 1, then 0 and 4, canal next 0 and 7.  The next module would be 1 and 1, 1 and 4, 1 and 7.

  Create the icon you want to there are several editors of ico on the market (I usually use one of the freebies) and save it in your project.

  In the Application build spec select the icon section, clear the default checkbox and choose your .ico in the pop-up.
