    Firefox IS the browser is perfect for me, it's fast and everything was good, but when I opened it a search bar appeared next to my tabs. Is a way to remove it? If not, is it possible to restore one of the versions of previous firefox which does not contain this shit? If the answer is still no, I'll change to Chrome.

    To change the default search engine or the order of the search engines in the upper search box right in Firefox, please do the following:

    1. Move the mouse cursor inside the search box in top right of the Firefox window and click on the arrow next to the logo of the supplier.
    2. If you want to select another search engine, simply choose the engine in the drop-down list.

    To change the order of search engines, follow these steps:

    Hello live2ski, "trusted sites" are a concept of internet explorer which does not exist in firefox in this form, so I'm not sure what their instructions could be referring to.

  • How to stop the tab 'Getting started with Mozilla Firefox' to open every time I open FF?

    Everytime I open FF, the tab "Getting started with Mozilla Firefox" opens. I checked and it is not in my list of homepage.

    If I open any additional windows, it does not open.

    But, once I close all the and reopen it again, the tab opens.

    I had a similar problem with some addons (ietab) do the same thing.

    I found the fix for it.

    About: config, filter for 'Start '

    Ones you want to should appear at the bottom.

    Startup.homepage_override_url and startup.homepage_welcome_url

    Double-click on each one and delete the text string. Close and reopen the window to check that it worked.

    As I deleted them both at the same time, I'm not sure who was the culprit. So, I suggest starting by striking first and tests before deleting this one.

    Hello

    Hello

    Yep - you might want to open a new thread with "BUG" in the title, so that a person can pick this up.

    You can recreate this feature manually, if you wish:

    1 create an application to the element called G_UNIQUE_ID for example

    2 - create a PL/SQL application process that runs "Before Header". This could be something like:

    DECLARE
      vID NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      vID := TRUNC(DBMS_RANDOM.VALUE(1000000, 1000000000));
      :G_UNIQUE_ID := vID;
    END;

    1000000 and 1000000000 are low - and - upper limit of a random number

    3, and on the branch as part of the request, put:

    &G_UNIQUE_ID.
