  In this case, your default value is

  HTP.prn (')' || "- All employees - | '');

  However, you can set the default value in the loop as you want. You just say that is your default - first, second, third...

  In the list select ajax there's no submit and no calculation of values then I assuem your default is the punch one you wan to display when a selection list has been changed?

• Refreshing a report on the change in value of the selection list

  -Very well, this should be very easy, but I can't seem to do things.
  
  I have 2 items on a page: a list of selection and a report.
  
  The report contains a WHERE clause that uses the value of the selection list.
  
  So when I change the value of the selection list, the report needs to be recharged.
  
  I don't want to use a 'Redirect and set' when I change the selection list, because I don't think it's very pretty.
  
  So I created a dynamic action that updates the State when the selection list is changed.
  
  Now for the problem: the report get updated, but the new value of the selection list is not used!
  
  How can I make select the value of the item to be stored in session state?
  
  I can't find this option anywhere in the parameters of the dynamic action.

  Edit the element... There is a Readonly tab... Enter the condition for readonly... for example... Suppose you have a hidden field P1_X for the primary key. To add the new record, this field will be null and for editting p1_x will have the primary key value...

  So you can make the condition as P1_X readonly IS not null...

  I made a request and on a page, I have a selection list filled from a list of values (made with a sql statement select).
  on the same page, I have a report made after a select statement.
  
  How can I did... when I select an item in the selection list in the report show me the item that is selected in the select list

  When I click on the selection list and chose a name of the employee in the report show me the first name, middle name, address and everything in emp.
  
  I tried to use emp.name = 'selectlist.value' and it gives me the invalid number.

  Change your selection of P4_X list and make a list of selection with Submit. Now edit the report in the form query

  SELECT name, first name, address of the emp, whose name is nvl(:P4_X,name);

• How do I either set channel name of a graph of cluster or get a 1 d waveform chart to start different time (t0) for each line of the waveform?

  I have a chart single 2D out a conditional of a loop indexing output such that over the rows of the table are not the same size. -Basically, they have different starting and ending points and sizes. -Not so concerned by the endpoints, because as soon as I get correctly starting points, everything shows fall in place.

  The challenge is that when I try to have the variable t0 (start time) for each line, the wave of construction vi form would always keep each line at the same starting point.

  I used the approach bundled with success (the cluster approach ensures that each waveform starts at different times according to the guidelines of my t0 defined for each line) but then I'm not able to get in the channel names I could make using the graphical approach (wave generation) waveform.

  In essence what I get here, I'm losing here.

  Because I don't want one of my mentors, Bob and Altenbach have fed up with me I have attached a vi this time

  Attached VI shows a combination of the two attempts (first with the waveform graph) and then with the graph of cluster

  1. with the first (graphical waveform), I get my channel names as you wish, but the alignment of the wave is not correct.

  2. with the second (graphical cluster), the alignment is good, but I can't do the names of channel in the chart, even if they are present in the cluster.

  I read some reviews that mentions that attributes can be displayed with waveform and data Dynamics (not clsuters) so I guess that's why.

  I saw another report indicating the start time for a waveform 1 d will always remain the same for the rest lines defined for the first line even if changed for the following lines in a loop.

  So I guess my question is: what is the way around questions like that?

  First of all, let me be the first to the congratulate and thank you for finally posting a code!  I'm not 100% certain I understand your question or your code, but I have an idea, perhaps, of what you want to do, so I wrote a little VI who made something simple that could be relevant.

  You mention waveforms of different lengths and beginning at different times.  You also want everyone to have a unique attribute (although I'm not sure what you want to do with the attribute).  So, I did the following:

  1. Generated an array of 100-sample random to represent one second of a waveform.
  2. Created 4 waveforms on this 100-sample basis.  The first waveform (channel 0) is just these 100 points.  The second, 1 channel, is the concatenation of string 0 with the base of 100 samples, or a waveform "double".  Channel 2 is 1 string concatenated with the base, and channel 3 is 2 string concatenated with the base.
  3. In order to trace the four channels that they rest 'on' the other, the waveform has the number of the channel added to it.  Channel 3 is 3 + (4 copies of the basis of 100 points), a waveform 400-point random centered around a shift of 3.
  4. All channels have dt value 0.01 (but I guess I could have varied, as well).
  5. To make the channels start at different times, I started channel N N seconds before channel 0 (by subtracting the index of the loop, I, T0).
  6. For each channel, I created an attribute called "Chan" equal to "Channel N" (where N = 0, 1, 2 or 3, as the case may be).

  This is the plot that results. Scale X is the absolute time value (no Date) using the 24-hour HH: mmS format.  You can see that the plots are 1, 2, 3 and 4 seconds of time, and are offset from each other by a second.  I used the trace attributes to change the name to the respective attribute.

  Hi, I have a tabular form and I'm trying to get the selected value of a select list item and store the selected value in a page element hidden elsewhere on the form of tables, so I can use this value.

  Strange that you do not get an error when you run your 2nd selector.
  In any case for this kind of thing, see the HTML code of your tabular form and tell us what triggers, the element can be useful. Or better create an example at apex.oracle.com.
  In any case, I see two errors:
  (1) is there any html element "not selected" instead, the LOV in the APEX element has the select tag
  (2) you can not write a. val() inside a selector that you must place it after your selection.

  So I'd like to rewrite your code to:

  I'm fighting to implement a solution to reset the value of an element from the list of selection on a page in my application.
  
  I currently have about 4 pages in my application with a level of tabs with every page on its own tab.
  
  I have a report of Emp page that lists employees. The page contains an element of selection list for emp_no who submits the page when the value changes. The query for the list of selection queries the emp for name and emp_no table. It has:
  Display additional values: Yes
  Display Null values: Yes
  Display NULL value: all THE
  Return NULL value:
  (no value for the return NULL value)
  Page, in itself, works the way you want. During the first visit to the page, EVERYTHING is selected and the report shows all the EMOS. If I select a specific employee, the page refreshes with just this employee.
  
  On the Main page is another employee list report. The report has a link between the employee id column and the Emp report page. The link sets the value of Emp.emp_no to the value of Main.emp_no. It works very well so if I take emp hand 123, 123 shows Emp.emp_no and the report shows that retail for emp 123.
  
  The problem is when a specific employee has been selected previously from the homepage or the Emp page and I click on a tab to another page, say the status tab / page and then click on the tab of the page of the Emp. The current behavior of the page, is that it continues to show some used was previously selected regardless of how it has been set, either Emp or to the homepage page. I want to reset select Emp.emp_no ALL (or null) if I navigate to the page of the Emp to any other page except hand or Emp itself.
  
  I searched through the forums and tried to use processes at the level of the page and after region to reset the value of Emp.emp_no, but nothing has worked. I believe there is a 'simple' way to do it that doesn't require coding on each page to set Emp.emp_no on a null value before calling it.
  
  I would like ideas on solving this seemingly simple task that has managed to escape.

  Use a query in your link for filtering the selection list. Create a compuation on the definition page of the selection to NULL list if the request is NULL > PL/SQL Expression >: APPLICATION IS NULL. In this way, you can check the list of selection gets nulled while accessing the page normally.

  When you add a new line to the shape of the table, all existing lines must be recorded in the database. You can, therefore, to verify the existence of these files and set the value of a page hidden as a result element. The default value for an item of tabular presentation can then rest on this hidden item.

  This is possible by setting the Source used for "Always,...» "on the hidden item called, say, P1_DEPTNO_DEFAULT, and the Source to something like:

   SELECT COUNT(*) INTO X FROM EMP WHERE DEPTNO = :P1_DEPTNO;
   IF X > 0 THEN

  It is a Type of Source of "body of the PL/SQL function.

  In this example, we will check if there are all the records with a DEPTNO value that matches the P1_DEPTNO EMP. If there is, then the tabular presentation must contain at least one line already, so we return an empty string. If there is no record, the tabular presentation should be empty, so return us the value of P1_DEPTNO.

  The default settings on the DEPTNO column in tabular form would then be:

  Default type: (name of the application or page element) Element
  Default: P1_DEPTNO_DEFAULT

  Since you've already done this job, you probably realized that you need to add p7_study_name to Page elements field to submit and create a dynamic action related to this item (change), which updates the State of the list of sites.

  If you want to go to another page, when you select the item in the list, follow these steps:

  (1) create a dynamic action on p7_study_name, the Change event.

  (2) create a real action, Action: submit the page, button of request/name MY_REQUEST (or whatever you want).

  3) go to the processing Section and create logic to your page target Condition: Type Request = value, value MY_REQUEST
