  Your 4071 can do a measure at a time. Your data acquisition cannot measure resistance is not she of the analog inputs.

  To make an acquisition redeclenchables, we need to set a property that we do not have access to directly to MAX (redeclenchables true parameter). However, based on what you have explained, it's pretty simple applications you meet. The best way to proceed is to simply use your trigger as an external sample clock signal. Using this trigger as the sample clock signal, you will take only sampling points on the edges of this signal trigger regardless of the trigger parameters.  So, I simply specify this signal as your external sample clock and go from there.

  I want to config output digital USB-6009 to + 2.5 V above and 0 V digital output low. I know I can config USB-6009 digital output open collector with resistance to pull-up external, that can be applied with + 2.5 V power source.

  My question is: can I use USB-6009 Board + 2.5 V output as the current source of resistance to pull-up? What resistance is a good number for the resistance to pull-up, if I can use this configuration?

  So, there is actually an internal pullup to 5V 4.7 kOhm resistance when the device is configured to open collector.

  If you want to display 0 to 2.5 V, I would look in a resistance of polarization of 4.7 kOhm between c and ground (according to the rest of your tour).

  It was stated earlier in this thread - a case of primary use for the remote collector is to collect metrics to an environment that is separated by a logical or physical network complexity.  For example, a demilitarized zone where you want to just open a minimum of connections internally or to a remote location where you have limited network connectivity and wishes to consolidate the collections to save bandwidth.

  You can also choose to add another collector if your vC Ops server is of limited resources.  However, based on the environment of size that you used in your example, there is no advantage and only an additional complexity of having several collectors.

  Hi, how can I get the highest value of data according to data acquired using the accelerometer ADXL345 and LINX in LabVIEW?

  I want the highest data to be shown with a flag. However, the data being shown are always the last acquired data. My problem would be what happens if the highest data somewhere at the beginning or in the middle of all the acquired data? How to display the highest data using an indicator?

  I gave you an example of what you need to do - it is not okay if wire you the new value and the old value for the X or Y - it will always return the maximum of the two values so the order doesn't matter. It would have been more useful if you had posted what you tried the max & min. You need a registry to offset inside the loop (like I did with my while loop). If you only want to display the maximum value for each iteration of the loop for external, you must initialize the shift register by plugging a 0 to its terminal on the left.   I have a question about my application for the acquisition of data in series. In my application, I use visa read to acquire data series sent by an inertial measurement unit. When I first put the sensor, it sends data in the following one time format:

  1:0 x 8011 header followed 1 data word for Adler, 1 data word (each 16-bit word data).

  and the sensor then starts sending the data in the following format:

  2:0x7FFF header followed 1 data word for checksum, 9 data word (each 16-bit word data).

  (Note: checksum is defined as a 2s - complement of the sum of 16 bits of the rest of the entire message)

  In my application, to simplify the problem, I use a wait function to ensure that the initial data header 1 tag is sent. Then I start reading using VISA Read 20 bytes (header 2 more words of associated data are 20 bytes), as I'm mainly interested in the data header 2 tag words.

  However, when I do this, the data that I get do not begin by 7FFF character and, accordingly, my 20-byte data cannot be parsed correctly. My question is how can I do the "VISA read" block read the serial port when data are preceded by '7FFF '.  Once I have solve this part, my strategy will be assembled data read 20 bytes (including the header of 4 bytes) and analyzed accordingly.

  Another question, I wonder if you can tell me how to use the given checksum it is defined as "a s 2 - complement of the sum of 16 bits of the rest of the entire message". Note the data that contains the header 1 tag is 1 post.

  Not exactly. It stores data in an ASCII ' Tab/return' file (assuming that you do not change the separator). Means that the file can be opened by any text editor. Including Word and Excel.

  If you want to open the file directly with Excel (or Word) with a simple double click, then simply add .xls (or .doc) as the file name extension.

  If you use the .txt extension, there are chances that your case will be opened by Notepad.

  First of all, I would like to apologize if this question has already been answered in the forums, but I couldn't find something for this particular situation... I'm using LabView v.8.6 to perform measurements of TSC (thermally stimulated current), by controlling a Lake Shore Cryotronics 330 (Lake Shore model 330 Autotuning) temperature regulator and a pA HP4140B meter. I take as starting point the available in the libraries of pilot screw (http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=014FB74E7B0C1ED3E0440003BA7CCD... and http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E92C3659CE034080020E748..., respectively), and I would like to merge the two programs ("Lake Shore Cryotronics controller Output.vi" and "HP4140B example (current or voltage) .vi") in a single program that can simultaneously record two current values (at a fixed voltage) of the HP4140B and temperature as amended in the range of 76 to 300K (with the Lakeshore 330).

  The problem lies in the fact that I don't know how to make compatible digital output "sensor data sample" on the shore of the Lake with the digital Board (which has no defined size) named "current CAP" of the HP4140B in the above programs. What I try to do is to: (1) save the data in a file (I tried using block Express 'Write to file measure', which I don't know if it is the best option or not); and (2) current track compared to the temperature (not current vs time and temperature / time separately).

  Any help on these questions would be most appreciated, because I'm stuck on my research, because I can not save all the data! This will really just above my head...

  PS: I am attaching the file that I worked on, but maybe it's better to work from scratch (I'm still a beginner and I maybe made some mistakes!)

  While is not the absolute 100% cleaner and more efficient to code I've ever seen, you did merge the good behavior and if you work, it's what matters in the end. I'm sure that we could spend a week at optimization back, but ultimately he would actually do the same thing and we probably used never make up the time in efficiency.

  One thing I would recommend is to comment the code, especially if you are using existing code from somewhere. He lets other people know where you got the model of. I also suggest to mention in the code that you must have installed to run the program. If they do not have the right driver, they don't know where to get TI / what to do.

  First we will make some corrections to your DAQmx code.  Since you are using continuous sampling, do NOT connect the samples per channel.  Which is actually limiting your buffer.  And there is really no need to define your buffer size either.  It is default to very big, so this isn't a problem as long as you read your data quite often.

  Now your data connection... You simply create a very wide range while acquiring data.  Then, you save the data.  It's actually not through the advantage of using the producer and the consumer.  You should save your data in the loop of the consumer.  It will be elinate need a lot of memory and you save the data to the file while you are buying.

  But, in this case, I say that the producer and the consumer is not even necessary.  Use the DAQmx Configure registration VI.  With this VI, you can tell DAQmx to disseminate all data directly in a PDM file.  You don't have to do anything.  It is by far the best way to save on your DAQ data.
