How to reset the windows media player 12 default settings
Original title: how to reset the windows media player 12 default settings
My Windows media Player 12 has stopped play all the sounds (Win 7 HP 64 bit) - I can play sounds with Windows media Center, DIVX, etc. of Winamp, but not with Win Media Player. I would like to reset Windows Media Player 12 to its default state, either by doing a reset or reinstall. Can someone tell me how to do what you please?
Do these two steps [they are the closest thing possible to uninstall then reinstall WMP & will actually provide a new installation of WMP]
1 unload WMP - Panel, programs and features, [left] turn on or off has Windows, multimedia features, clear box Windows Media Player, Yes, OK, restart the PC.
2 reload WMP - Panel, programs and features, [left] turn Windows features on or off, multimedia features, set the Windows Media Player box, Yes, OK, restart the PC.

How can I reset the Player Windows Media in Windows Vista Home Basic to use the songs on my external backup drive instead of (or in addition to) the songs on my desktop hard drive? Currently, the Media Player library indicates that the hard drive (C:\) is my only option of disks to use for sources of songs.
Basically, I want to have Media Player external drive for all the songs from research and build his library on this disc instead of on the C:\ drive.My problem is that the songs are hogging too much space on my hard drive, so I want to move to my external drive to backup instead, but Media Player will not access it. I saw an option in Media Player to add a song to a different drive to the library whenever I play a song of this player, but that would require me to play all the songs moved one at a time, which is not practical, and which would not solve my problem because Media Player could still be maintaining the library on my HDD to say.Any ideas?Thank you.Hello

Adobe Flash Player prevents me to display videos because I don't want to share my personal computer storage.
Wholesale! constitutional question here! Can I use the Windows Media player this Adobe pirate intead? How, please? Or any other way to overcome this in-your-face PEST hijacker - Adobe Flash? * E-mail address is removed from the privacy *
Hello
Flash Player and Windows Media Player are not interchangeable.
Like many things on the web, the Flash Player local storage can be put to bad use. This does not necessarily mean the Flash Player without scruples or bad product - it's the sites Web/people who abuse of this (depending on your point of view).
You can configure Flash Player to block local storage on your computer. This does not necessarily all the features of Flash Player - for example with my set of Flash Player to block local storage I can still see videos on YouTube.
The controls for the Flash Player local storage can be found here: *
Start-> Control Panel-> Flash Player (32-bit) (Tab instorage )
There is a good explanation of privacy and local storage of Flash Player here:
I hope this helps.
* You have not stated your version of Windows, so it's Windows 7.
