How to avoid having the printer mapped as drive Z: persistently?

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 (former model, about 3 years old...)

Whenever I start my PC (with Win7) this printer get mapped as drive Z: I'll see in Solution Explorer, the following entry:
OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909g (192.168.56.95) (z)

I don't remember having this printer already mapped like Z:. I have no idea what this mapping could be useful for and it is very heavy, there is another feature that should get mapped as drive Z:, but will fail because the printer is "stealing" Z: earlier during initialization.

I use manually disconnect, but it's heavy, that I need to do my other device manually like this mapping.

How can I avoid this printer is mapped as drive during startup?

I suspect it is the HP software, select the letter of the unit.  I also have a HP with card slots.  I'll look at which drive letters are assigned.  I thought they were just the next in line, but I'll make sure.
