How to bind a VPN (TX via VPN) with a sat (RX via DVB - S2) / Windows Vista Home Edition / Multiple dial conections
I use a Windows Vista Home Edition on a laptop. The system connects to the Internet through a cellular router EDGE (via Ethernet) and receives the data by linking receiver DVB - S2 satellite broadband connected via a USB interface. The connection is through a VPN. Windows Vista loses the symbol of the "blue planet", as soon as the VPN connects. Authentication and connectivity is OK. DNS also works OK by the way VPN, with pointing to the VPN IP address 0.0.0.0. The diagnosis indicates an error where Vista says that she finds multiple active dial connections. Y at - it a configuration option that allows me to bind the interface transmission (VPN) with return channel satellite? The same software and configuration under Windows XP SP3 works OK.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista

DCR-TRV260 NTSC via USB for Windows XP Home edition home
Hello!
I'm trying to help a friend to connect its DCR-TRV260 NTSC to his computer HP Vectra VL420 (Yes, a very old machine).
The computer is HP P/n: PS660AV #246, with a processor Pentium 4 (Willamette) of 478mPGA socket @1. 70 GHz, installed on a HP
card system with an Intel i845 NB A05 and and Intel 82801 SB, the latter is, I suspect, the culprit.
We lack a clean new install of Windows XP Edition family with Service Pack 3, with 384 MB of PC133 SDRAM.
I know it's something Museum but hey, it works and it can not even buy a more recent machine. The problem: I can't do the camera be considered a via USB removable storage device, in order to download still images on the computer, he recorded on tape, not a stick of memory, there no card IEEE1394 and no budget to buy a.
I installed the software included in his CD that comes with the camera, and I can work
streaming USB tool and watch motion pictures and still images through it, but I can not D/L to the computer.
I removed all the foregoing, as well as all instances of the camera Device Manager, then set up PMB56_installer1108a, to my dismay, because he wants to only use IEEE1394 (I understand why, but it should offer the USB option). How we manage to always download these images, recorded on tape, on his computer?
I suspect the Intel 82801 SB is at fault, because even if it does not detect the camera and every time I plug it, Device Manager
updated to reflect the three instances related to the camera, the Sony imaging device, digital video USB Composite and Audio USB
Device, it cannot be seen as a removable storage device.Of course, I read the manual for the camera and the computer application s/w, but I can't find anything related, none of the people
two elements indicate how do what my friend waiting!I read all the messages mentioning USB as a search term, and the question is: is WXP just incapable of such a feat?
Help, please.
Hello!
After all this time, I discovered the answer to watch me on page 25 of the PDF manual camera operations.
They are not always photos within the meaning of the word "cybershot", they are
still images recorded with sound, then it's just a frozen video image recording with
seven seconds of audio. Now we have captured it with Windows Movie Maker and export it somehow to jpg still images.
Thanks anyway!

Windows Vista Home Edition suddenly not open attachments. How can this be corrected?
I can't open attachments in the email in the "MAIL" program in Vista Home Premium
Hello, tubifex
Please use the Forum for answers!
I'm moving your post on the forum of programs.
What kind of attachments you are trying to open?
What is the exact error message you get?
Have you installed any programs or updates before this has stopped working? Are you able to open the offending file type in Windows directly?
If this started recently, you can try to do a system restore. This will restore the filesystem to a previous point in time. Go to start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, open system restore and choose a date before the problem started.
We can't wait to hear back on your part.

I have a hp a6242n with vista home premium 32-bit installed and I need the 64-bit version while I can add little ram, I can only drive versions or should I just buy a new copy?
Hello
You can buy a disc of 64 bit vista with license of full version of somewhere
Try your local computer repair shop
then perform a new installation of it who will clean up the hard drive clean during the process
Microsoft sells more than vista as they moved on windows 7
You should get that instead

I had a power outage and when the power came back, the icon of the voice in the lower right corner (taskbar?) was absent. My computer (Toshiba Satellite P205-S6267) regulator dial is broken, so I can't adjust the volume without the sound icon. I have a sound icon on the left side of the taskbar, but it does not regulate the volume.
I have Windows Vista Home Edition.
All other icons that were previously in the taskbar reappeared once the power has been restored. I have sound, but I can't adjust the volume.

I have windows vista Enterprise edition and trying to connect to a PPTP VPN, I get an error 691 name of user and password are fine, I can connect to the VPN on XP without problem.
original title: VPN Error 691I was able to find a solution by the way that the domain has been configured. I was adding the complete domain name and extension (i.e. domain.local). The .local was me screwing up. I edited the domain field to only reflect the domain name without any extensions. One that I did this it worked like a charm. I have been using a VPN PPTP on a computer Server 2003 domain mixed with 2000 and 2003 domain controllers and Windows 7 Pro laptop computers. Hope this helps someone.

Windows 7 Home Edition - Corporate VPN access - blocked?
Is it true that Windows 7 Home Edition does NOT connect to a Corporate VPN? I was told that there is some sort of block on this form of access, regardless of the configuration of the system.
If so, is it true that the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional Edition would solve this problem?
Thank you
