The slash can be used in domain names, if that's what you're asking. It is used to separate folders in your paths of structure and the files of the site.

Perhaps if this is not answering your question can you provide an example of what you're trying to do?

  • How can I use / on the url of my Web site?

For example, I'm doing one of the page in my Web site show a field like this: www.imagemgama.com.br/more/dentistry/doctorA... (pages), but the software evolves to this: www.imagemgama.com.br/more-dentistry-doctorA. It uses - instead of /, can you understand? I want to separate the pages of my site with /, not with -

In your example, URL, 'more' and 'dentistry' are separate folders. A slash ' / ' is used to indicate what subfolder, the web page is in.

So no, you can't do what you want to do with a / unless you set up a structure of subfolder of your site that matches what you want your URL to look like. You must create the folder 'more', then inside that folder create another folder named "dentistry", then inside this folder create 'doctorA', 'doctor', 'doctorC' of the files, then place the web pages each doctors inside each of these folders. Which will you have the URL you are looking for.

The bad thing is, you can't accomplish this with Muse. Muse does not support subfolders - yet. I hope one day.

  • How to prevent the FF loading all Web sites using the HTTPS protocol

FF is trying to load initially all Web sites using the HTTPS protocol, including of mozilla.org. Then I get the error of no reliable connection of course. Mozilla .org is the "invalid security certificate" and "the issuer of the certificate is unknown." I tried to delete the file cert8.db as suggested elsewhere but that did not help. If there is an option for this somewhere, I can't find it. I have the latest version of FF and Win7 running. Thanks for the help.

There must be some sites that are still using a secure connection, as http://www.amazon.com/. If even a link to Amazon is redirected, you can check if you have an extension like HTTPS Everywhere.

For Mozilla sites, Yes, you establish a secure connection.

But you shouldn't get certificate errors! When you get this for virtually all secure sites, the problem is usually as follows:

    (1) error of date, time, or time zone who throw checks validity of the certificates of your system. Sometimes allowing to use a timesource on the internet, the computers can introduce this problem.

    (2) not be set up to work with your security software that intercepts and filter secure connections from Firefox. Products with this feature include Avast, BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky; AVG has a shield search function which can cause this error on search sites.

    (3) malicious software on your system for the interception of secure connections.

    So... who is?

If you have any of these specific security products, which would be the first thing to check. We might be able to help with specific next steps based on what you have if you tell us.

Alternatively, you can examine the certificate to which Firefox is opposed to see if the issuer information pointing to the culprit. Take for example my test page:

    https://jeffersonscher.com/RES/jstest.php

You should see a section "I understand the risks" in the page. If you expand this section, you will find a button Add Exception. You don't need to complete the process of adding an exception (I suggest not adding one until we know that it is not a problem of malware), but you can use the dialog box to display the information that makes Firefox suspicious.

Click Add an Exception, and then view. If the view is not enabled, try first the button get certificate. Then in the certificate Viewer, refer to the section "issued by". What do you find here, or under the hierarchy of certificates? I have attached a screenshot for comparison of screen.

  • How to remove the internal contacts of Web site reports and remittances form?

    Hello

There used to be an article about it previously under the support of old, but I can't find them more

I would therefore delete the activities of people internally at my company of all Web site traffic reports and also to form presentations as it makes it difficult to work on the actual performance.

For the test, we can use our gmail accounts personal, which will further enhance the figuration, but should be much less that is currently happening.

    Has anyone done this before?

    Thank you

    Richard

Actually found something I could test for web traffic...

Eloqua 9 is in the 'Setup' > 'Management' > then under the "System Management" tab > in the left menu, expand "IP filters" and select "visitors to be filtered from analytical."

  • I tried all the susgestions to solve the problem of some web sites don't load completle IE works well please fix this or I am done with Fire Fox, you retain to do fancy menus put he problems are still there

I started using Firefox initially because of problems with IE that are now corrected. Fire Fox 3xxx was big then 4 came out worked ok until the first update, then pages will load completely, wheel just keeps spinning 5 was the same thing and 6 is the same. one solution is to disable Java, which makes the sites load but then other sites requires Java, can't keep turning on/off.
Why so many people are add on is not compatible? Correct the problem of loading or I'll have to stop using Firefox and I like when working properly. Perfectly updated for Windows XP all add on s are up to date. There are several site to the problem sometimes, they do very well, but most of the time that they are not Richard

I got exactly the same problem with FF6 so far. Drove me crazy. Disable the web shield in my AVG antivirus solved the problem. Looks like it has something to do with Google of JS in some pages. Filming of Javascript in Firefox also helps, but is not a solution.

I already contacted AVG support. Don't know who is more responsible for this well, Firefox and it's the newest upcoming version every two months or Google/AVG because they just can't keep up with Firefox so quickly so often change =)

  • Difficult to view the content of some Web sites

I'm currently under firefox 26.0 on a laptop. On some websites, I am unable to see the content. The page will just keep loading continuously and the only way I can view content is by pressing the button reload every time. Why is this happening? It is a new installation of mozilla on a computer that completely has been reset.

Start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  • When you use the webcam with some Web sites, PC off

I installed a video for jwin JC-800 on webcam on my windows xp pc. I used the disc of the included software to install drivers, etc... When using the sites web cirtain to activate the camera, such as windows live instant messaging, it stops the pc.

The cam is also up when trying to use the "audio and video Setup" prompt Windows live instant messaging to adjust the parameters of the cam for a display of web cam or video call, although sometimes it will start and run ok on messengr - as no adjustmentsare have made to the settings of the camera video or audio. On other websites, during the implementation for video chat, the pc stops when "enable audio" is selected. Also, when turn on the cam directly from the desktop icon and try to configure the space required for video captures the pc shuts off or the programwill camera become UN-responcive and jam. I tried programs assistant camera, device and windows as well as the control panel and help centers copatability, but don't know enough to mess with the configuration of services/programs/settings on the pc to fix the problem

  • How to block the world to open my site EXCEPT my town?

I talked to zipcodeservices.com and it was his response to me: "we have a service that you can call where you pass the IP address of your server and it returns an IP geocoded, which means it will return, city, State, zip code, latitude, longitude, etc..".  You could parse the response from the service call to determine if the user is in your city and State.  If they are not your town and state you can block them from your application by redirecting them or do something else.  "I hope this helps."

But the guys from adobe BC said that you can't implement this solution in British Colombia.

What would you say if I list the IP address of my city and white in this case if your IP is outside this range of IPs you will be blocked or asked a password?

It seems that the only solution here is to whitelist the IP address of the city. In doing so:

    I'll have to manually enter?

Get the IP address from where?

In British Colombia, secure areas in ip mode, can I said ip address whitelist which is located between the beach of xxx.x.xxx to zzz.z.zzz, or do I have to manually insert any advice?

Liquid returns only the IP address as Robert pointed out, and you can't get in the city and also as Robert says that isn't very accurate either. You have solutions javascript but who will be the performance of announcement and problems of reliability on the site. I would not seek to implement this. It would be a custom solution and then you still wouldn't even 80% of accuracy, only if you have used the location of the browser (html5) stuff, but you have to get a person to give permission to use their location.

  • When loading some Web sites the text looks funny and I get these strange large black page breaks. Anyone know what could cause this?

Here's a CAP to screen what I normally see: http://i41.tinypic.com/4tq52a.jpg

I can see the Web sites that appear like this on Chrome as they appear, but for some reason any Firefox gives me all this mess. Often on blogs, if that makes a difference. Also, I tried to disable my Add - ons, but in vain. Anyone got any ideas?

It is a police problem. Firefox cannot find the font and shows small boxes with the hexadecimal code instead.

Try to set the pref gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.use_gdi_table_loading false on the topic: config page.

To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.

If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page.

    • Use the filter at the top bar of the on: page config to more easily spot a preference.
    • Preferences that have changed also show "BOLD" (user set).
    • Preferences can be reset to the default value using the context menu if they are set of users
    • Preferences can be changed via the context menu: Edit (string or integer) or toggle (Boolean)
  • HP Officejet 4500 Wireless XP operating system fails to print a page of some web sites

For material when I go to a seondary screen from the main web site to get a hotel or motel confirmation number and I'll print the page it does not print. The printer icon in the taskbar (1) document ready to be printed. I tried all the steps in the HP Solution but the problem still persists. By trial and error I discovered a simple solution which is just stopping and restarting my PC and then the document mysteriously begins to print what is in the what it's always very aggravating. No quick fix would be useful instead of a bunch of steps which I already crossed.

Just to check, you are always able to print from your computer, but the specific issue that you are experiencing is the impression of some Web sites.

For this kind of problem, this is an issue involving the browser you use. My recommendation is to use a different web browser (if you are using Internet Explorer, try using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for example).

  • Some Web sites do not display the fonts in firefox.

For a while through a number of updates, I see that on some Web sites, rolling stone and cnbc are two example. If I go to the fonts in my computer and click on restore default settings for fonts, it solved that temporarily the problem. If I go to the settings and disable Web sites use their own fonts, it solves but fonts do not appear as sites intend to make them appear. This does not happen in other browsers, firefox only. I reinstalled windows fonts 7. I tried to disable hardware acceleration... Still has not solved the problem. How can I solve this problem in firefox?

Do you know if there is a model of policing does not work? If you right click on the text of the problem and choose inspect element (Q), Firefox should open the Inspector tool in the lower part of the tab. On the right side in front of the HTML source code is a box that can usually shows the style rules. Click small heading fonts to show the font used for the text of the problem.

When I visit the site, the text of the problem is in "Close Gotham" (with more than words displayed in the attached screenshots). These are downloadable fonts.
