How to cancel the El Capitan update reboot

Hello. I have os Maverick in my MacBook Pro mid 2012, I'm not wan't to upgrade yet because the problems of compatibility of specific software.

By mistake, I hit the update button that appears in the corner of the screen from time to time. When I look at the App Store apears Reboot. This means that if I reboot, it will install El Capitan? How to fix this situation? I certainly don't want to do it again.
