    How to stop the side menu of Adobe ExportPDF running in all my software and the blocking of the screen?

    Hi B Faro,

    I'm not sure that I am. You are in Adobe Reader and see ExportPDF option in the tool pane on the right side of the application window? If this is the case, you can hide the toolbar by choosing View > show/hide > elements Toolbar > hide toolbars.

    Please let us know if that does not address your concern and provide more details about the problem you are having.

  • Why paragraph styles did change his mind during a project?

    Using CS6 (CC), I am to convert a booklet our firm designed for Kindle. Since we would cut apart all of the text, and it has been published several times in the original, I'm cut and paste into a new document, implementation of brilliant new paragraph styles and essentially creating a clean export document.

    However, some weird things happened along the way, the following:

    1. a created paragraph style is "intro text". Based on 'no paragraph style', the black value Adobe Garamond, etc, etc. It works perfectly in all of the document except the first page. When I apply the same paragraph of its text style, the text shows quite differently (bright red, Meta). No substitution showing. Can I just retype the text and try setting up from scratch, but no idea why the same paragraph style that works on all other pages does not work here? (Screenshot showing the selected type and style that works everywhere else below.)

    2. the book is indexed by section color, so the first section has all red heads/subtitles, next heads yellow/subtitles, etc. I created the yellow subtitle based on red, the color change in the "color" box in paragraph styles. Several pages in the second section, the style of Pará yellow subtitle abruptly changed his mind and refuses to do the subtitle yellow unless I have replace manually in the text box. Even if the yellow is shown in the color of the box (see example below), and although it worked perfectly for several pages, this style now refuses to act according to its parameters. However, this works perfectly if I apply it to another type of text where I don't want it to work (see example below). If the same paragraph style works differently when applied to a different text on the same page. (aaaarrrrrgh)

    Everyone knows about this problem or questions, and what did you do to solve / them?

    Thank you!

    Some of what you describe could be caused by the application of styles to characters in addition to the paragraph styles, but it also looks like there may be a few file coruption. See remove minor corruption by exporting and see if that helps.

  • How to convert the side Server includes in the library items in DW CS4? Also change page website to .html .shtml files?

    I inherited our Web site created in DW with server side includes the column header, footer and navigation.  I don't know that anything on the server side includes.  I have a hosting company for the online site.  I don't know what that is a 'local web server' and did not have a set on toward the top on my computer - I know.

    I want to remove the server side includes the code <!-virtual = "" / head.htm #include '-> out of the body of the pages of the site and insert the code for the server side includes (the footer, header and nav). "  But I also want to be able to continue to make global changes to these files.

    Can I convert a server side includes the elements of library, and if so, how do I do this?  I'm still not real familiar with library items, but I know that I can make changes to their topic and make them take effect globally within the site.

    And can I change all of the web pages that are now all appointed to .html .shtml.  And can I change the names of files in the window of the local files in DW?

    Thanks, I'm trying to achieve its manageable site for my level of knowledge in DW.

    Instead of dumbing down of the website which apparently works, why don't improve you your skill set and get warm & fuzzy with Server-Side Includes?

    Installation of Apache on a Windows computer will take you about 10 minutes.

    http://www.wampserver.com/en/

    SSIs are much more effective than the library items.  Lilies require you to republish the entire site whenever you change an element.  SSIs fill changes on the side server so that you don't need to republish the entire site whenever you edit & publish a SSI.  On larger sites, it is a huge time saver.

    Rename to .html .shtml files is not necessary to use library items. In fact, you can use SSIs and Lily on the same .shtml pages if you wish.

  • How to find the SID for DB Oracle 11g

    Someone installed a new database of Oracle 11 g on my machine. Now I'm opening "SQL Developer" and it asks username, password and sid. I don't know what is the SID for my case. How I know that?

    You mention that you are using Windows, but if you are and that you have installed the oracle database software and NO service like OracleService , then you do not have a database. But then, why the hell you you ask about this? If you do not want the database software, why don't you just go ahead and uninstall it? And how is it, someone can come and something on your server and have no idea about it?

  • How to query the object attribute changed his mind in another display object

    JDeveloper 10.1.3.4

    My requirement is I want to be able to query an object (entity based) view on a nonkey attribute where the value I'm looking on can either be in the database on an existing record or only been experienced by updating a different point of view object based on the same entity (and still commit).

    When you query the second display of a value object just updated via a different point of view object, the second view object always returns no rows. I thought that the process is:

    EntityA
    ViewObjectA based on EntityA
    ViewObjectB based on EntityA

    ViewObjectA - line query with the key = 123. update the attribute Y with value 456 (attribute Y in the null database). Feature for EntityA cache, touch 123, attribute is updated with the value 456
    ViewObjectB - line application with attribute = y. wait record in EntityA just updated cache to be returned. Instead, nothing is returned

    Here is the code I was using (where RandScheduleEdit and RandScheduleSearch are the same view the entity RandSchedule object-based objects)
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        String        amDef = "test.cache.model.AppModule";
        String        config = "AppModuleLocal";
        ApplicationModule am = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(amDef,config);

        ViewObject rsEdit = am.findViewObject("RandScheduleEdit");
        Key rsKey = new Key(new Object[]{40});
        Row[] rsEditRows = rsEdit.findByKey(rsKey,1);
        Row rsEditRow = rsEditRows[0];
        rsEditRow.setAttribute("SId", new Number(7827));

        ViewObject rsSearch = am.findViewObject("RandScheduleSearch");
        rsSearch.setWhereClause("S_ID = :SId");
        rsSearch.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("SId", null, null);
        rsSearch.setNamedWhereClauseParam("SId",new Number(7827));
        rsSearch.executeQuery();
        Row rsSearchRow = rsSearch.first();

        Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule(am, true);
      }
    Why not rsSearch finds the S_ID = 7827 record? It seems to only be interviewing new records in the database and ignoring the record updated in cache just updated?

    Any help much appreciated.

    See you soon,.
    Brent

  • Writing EXIF data (and how to define the side of the photo)

    Anyone had luck writing EXIF data in photos? Reading EXIF data are fairly easy, as demonstrated by "photobomber. Writing EXIF data seems to be more painful, however.

    In particular, I'm trying the face value of the photo.  I found mention on the web page of its existence in EXIF, with the code:

    0 x 4746

    That said, when I check the exif - tag.h, apparently not be listed.

    It is clear to me that this is a deal breaker or not.  The tags are listed in the exif - tag.h the only ones that can be used? Or are they simply definitions of convenience tag codes most commonly used?

    Thank you

    Daniel

    Incase others are reading this in the future and ask yourself how: my conclusion is that the best way to define metadata such as:

    -Photo rating

    -Tags

    -Description

    ... does NOT use EXIF.  On the contrary, it seems that XMP is a much better choice:

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_Metadata_Platform

    Ideally, BB10 comes with the XMP library, and it can be easily added to your project. (right-click on the project node in "Project Explorer", go to the context menu item 'Configure', then 'add the library')

    Here's the code I added bo my main.cpp:

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    // XMP
    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    // Must be defined to instantiate template classes
    #define TXMP_STRING_TYPE std::string

    // Must be defined to give access to XMPFiles
    #define XMP_INCLUDE_XMPFILES 1

    #define UNIX_ENV 1

    #include "xmp/XMP.incl_cpp"
    #include "xmp/XMP.hpp"

    #include
    #include

    using namespace std;

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ... and here's what I added to the .h file that I wanted to use XMP in: (it does not include the XMP.incl_cpp at the top of the notice)

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    // XMP
    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    #define TXMP_STRING_TYPE std::string
    #define XMP_INCLUDE_XMPFILES 1
    #define UNIX_ENV 1

    #include "xmp/XMP.hpp"

    #include
    #include

    using namespace std;

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    And finally, here's a big copy and paste part of the key code that I adapted to the code example in the XMP SDK I downloaded separately for read/write some common tags.  Feel free to use this code in your own applications, or to adapt it, if that's helpful.

    Note that the code above makes use of some class member variables:

        int rating;
        QList tags;
        QString description;
        QDateTime timestamp;

    One final note: there is a code that deals with the MicrosoftPhoto:Rating XMP tag. It's because I'm on Windows and I noticed that if you click on a photo in Windows Explorer, it allows you to display/change some meta (such as star ratings) data directly in Explorer. When you do so, it sets the MicrosoftPhoto:Rating tag (as well as the tag xmp:Rating, I believe). Once, he put that, if your application updates the xmp:Rating tag but don't update the MicrosoftPhoto:Rating tag and the file returns on Windows, then he continues to use the old notation before your update app. (he seems to ignore xmp:Rating if MicrosoftPhoto:Rating is present)

  • How to close the side panel right?

    In Skype version 6.22.0.107 - installed today ' today - I can't close the right side panel. It remains a fixed size next to the vertical contacts list I'm used to. He simply eats screen real estate and it is white (white).

    If you want to separate a list of contacts on the home page, then select View-> split view window.

    In older versions of Skype, this option was named Display Compact.

  • How to make the side bar of the finder 'Today' and 'This week' options given (they disappeared when I loaded El Capitan)?

    These options from the sidebar formularies very conveniently in any program that has been done to this day or week and now in el capitan, I can't find any way to get them there! Help...? THX

    Create them.

    Cmd - F in the Finder to open a search window.

    Define criteria to display files with is today: yesterday | this week |... If you don't see the type of date you want, select another, and then search Date. In this menu, you can check the box to keep in the list of issues, if you like.

    Once finished setting up, click on the "Save" button, give it a name and make sure that adding it to the sidebar is enabled.

    When you start a search, you may need to set the folder. Default values have set "search this Mac". When you run a search, it will default to this option and allow you to select the currently selected folder. Or, you can change the Finder preferences to use the current folder to start the search. Whatever it is, place it in your home folder just pick up your items.

  • How to stop the side toolbar to appear whenever I open a pdf file in Acrobat DC?

    Toolbar on the right is annoying in Acrobat DC. How can this be repaired?

    Hello

    The new "hand right toolbar" in Acrobat DC is always enabled by default, proving an instant access to frequently used tools. That said, we are certainly heard a number of customers who want Acrobat DC 'remember' the last State. So if you close it, it will stay closed when you open it then.   You want to have a fix in place in the coming months ~ 3 here.

  • Well, how to trim the sides of my 1.33: 1 HD which is within a framework of HD 16 X 9?

    I looked and looked, but I don't see tutorials on zoom in 2.35: 1 things to crop the upper and lower bars.

    I had families Super8 film transferred to HD, and they are 1.33: 1, within a framework of 16 X 9 (1.78: 1). So that they have side bars. I'd love to get rid of them for certain exports no HD on Vimeo. BUT HOW? The files are mjpegs 1080 p at 29,98 fps.

    Yes, I messed around with the settings, but always just come with a few wonky sh *.

    Where my question.

    On the Source export settings, click crop. You can select 4:3 in the drop-down list of the Proportions of harvest. This will push crops how to one size, but you can adjust the size and position of the harvest as needed to center the top.

    Once you choose your Format and preset (or tweak you want out of the 4:3), switch back and forth between the tabs Source, and output to make sure that you get a clean culture. Once you have it if you want, save yourself trouble and create a new preset, which you can then apply to clips as much as you want.
