  from the looks of it, your property rowCount is set too high. the rowCount property represents the number of lines displayed on the screen when the drop down menu is open. so if the number of rows is less than the amount of items on the list, it will create a scroll bar with a drop-down list for you. try to set the number of lines to a default value of 10 and and keep it manipulate your list from there. and see if you get the desired results.   It is possible to achieve what you want. You will need a few items:

  • drop-down list object script;
  • objects 'image', one for each image you want. It would be set to hidden.
  • object 'imageField. You should only one of them. The initial value is null. The script in the menu dropdown will fill the imageField with the object of the appropriate image.

  When you configure the drop-down list, it may be convenient to specify values in the binding tab (for example, 1, 2, 3,...). Then, in the script, you can view the numbers rather than the strings that the user sees in the drop-down list.

  The imageField1 must be set to access read only in the initialize event:

  This.Access = "readOnly";
