  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  They then installed Polish Vista on top of English and now the computer just does not seem to open half of the applications that it should.

  1. are you able to install all device drivers?
  2. which antivirus program is installed on your computer?
  3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  The question seems to be as a program is blocked.
  I suggest you perform the clean boot and check if the problem persists. Clean boot helps eliminate conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows. You can also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

  I know that your frustrations!  I have the same preference, it is currently not possible - but there is an update on its way (you can search for information on - it is called 8.1 Windows or blue Windows) which allows you to put photos or whatever behind the Windows 8 UI splash screen.  Update should be soon maybe some time this summer - August.

  Help is HTML and at least, in Windows, it seems that IE is used to display. Most web pages have a defined font size to control the appearance of the page, but you can ignore it by going to Internet Options (accessible from both help screen) > accessibility (which is a button hidden in the bottom of the page). I see no using LabVIEW to actually specifying the size, but at least for me it made bigger. Note that this affects any web page that view you in Internet Explorer.

  I have 2 drives, C: (69.2 GB) all system files. D: (65.7 GB) a backup & my data. I want to install a new s/w of 12 GB in D:, but its low memory(10.5MB) showing.   The main objective of the Windows backup and Restore Center is to save the data either automatically in according to the schedule or manually when you want to save data. It is not designed to replace the old data with the new data. Just backup and Restore Center totals with new data every time, and would not remove the old files.

  You can backup the old files and folders to storage device as the external hard drive, CD, DVD, USB flash drives and removes the backup files of the computer. You can format the backup partition.

  Caution:

  ·         Formatting a volume will destroy all data on the partition. Be sure to make backups of all the data to save before you begin.

  ·         You cannot format a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows.

  ·         Quick format is a formatting option that creates a new file table, but do not completely overwrite or erase the volume. A quick format is much faster than a normal format, which fully erases the existing data on the volume.

  Follow these steps:

  (a) open computer management by clicking the Start button, select Control Panel, click system and Maintenance, click Administrative Toolsand then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  (b) in the Navigation pane, under storage, click disk management.

  (c) right click on the volume that you want to format, and then click format.

  (d) to format the volume with the default settings, in the format dialog box, click OK, and then click OK again.

  For reference: create and format a hard disk partition.

  Click the left mouse on the upper part of the window of e-mail to compose, the part where you have to close, expand, reduce, etc > and drag the entire window to the place where you want it to be.

  Then, you can drag the edges, top, bottom and sides in function.
