  I just stumbled on something that looks like a bug or a security problem for me:
  When you have an application at a point 'Load - before the header (header of page template)' this process is executed no matter if a user is logged on or past validates a session ID in the URL.

  In my Application, I have an application process to download a file when a certain application is defined. I chose the application process to hide the url/location of the user files and make sure that this file can only be downloaded in an application context (thank you Dene for inspiration: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:15]). This works really well and did all the things I want to do.
  But then I tried to call my download URL (for example http://myhost:myport / mytest/pls/f? p = 1234:0:123123123123:DOWNLOAD_FILE:NO ::) from another computer without logging in.) I expected to get the login screen of my application and all my pages require authentication, but I got the file.
  
  To work around this problem, I put in condition of the pl/sql process ": APP_USER IS NOT NULL AND: ASK 'DOWNLOAD_FILE' = ', now it works as expected and shows the login page if the user is not authenticated or given to the session id is null/not valid."
  
  
  I am mistaken and that the process should not run? I put same authorization "must not be public user" who has been ignored as well.

  Peter and Dene,

  Thank you for this comment. I agree that this is a bug and we'll fix it. A solution you can set the attribute Public user of your application to PUBLIC_USER. As long as your FATHER connects as apex_public_user it shouldn't break anything.

  If you want chkdsk to correct disk errors, you cannot open files on the disk. If files are open, you receive the following error message:

  If you choose to remove the disk the next time you restart the computer, chkdsk checks the drive and corrects errors automatically when you restart the computer. If the partition is a boot partition, chkdsk automatically restarts the computer after that it checks the drive.

The script works if run on the command line, but I can't for the life of me operate under launchd as user agent (~/Library/LaunchAgents) when I try to set it to run every minute.   Yes - the bash script is executable, and no there is no entry in the Console indicating problems with the .plist file. I tried to / bin/bash program, but this does not seem to make any difference and reading execvp (3) seems to hint that he would not. I also tried to have everything under < ProgramArguments > without a bit of luck as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it seems pretty basic to me, and it's very frustrating that I can't make it work!

  If you use windows, just go to start-> programs-> research in motion-> are looking for the jde/Simulator that you would use

  If you just want to test your application on different OS, then download the different JDE:

  But if you want to test your application on different devices (to see how it would look on various displays), then download different smartphone simulators, always on the same site above. To load the app in the Simulator, open the smartphone Simulator-> click file-> java program load-> look for application .cod.

  You can use RVTools.  Check the path on the tab vDisk column to see which virtual machines (if any) are always connected to the RDM.

  I created a BPEL process (for creating task), in which my requirement is that I need to create a task based on some inputs and assign it to the user in partucular and then get out of this flow.
  
  earlier, I felt that I will use the human task activity. but when I use that task will be created in the same process and proceedings will be stuck on there until human intervention (the BPEL process waits for the result.).
  
  is it possible that I can use Java activity and create tasks from java code, 'I know how to assign a specific user task. Please tell me.

  1. you can try this alternative approach and it should work.

  2. basically, most of the BPEL process eventually auto generated Web services (.) WSDL). When we create a BPEL process, everything we do is give diagram of input, output schema and creates a bpel process with the default operation named as "process" in all the old versions as up to 11.2 SOA (and maybe before). BUT SOA 11.3 from, we can create a process BPEL, with our own WSDL and our own scheme. There is no restrictions like having only a single operation named 'process', etc.. In any case, what I mean is, each BPEL process ends up as a WebService, with entry and exit of the payloads of XSD.

  3. from the JDeveloper itself, locate the .wsdl for your BPEL process under the Workflow project. Create a new project of Proxy customer service Web and generate a customer for this wsdl Web service proxy. This will create you Service, Port and JAVA classes equivalent payload theoretically in your case taskpayload.xsd with these 4 items you have. Ignore the full blown the HumanTask which has all the system elements and attributes of a task of bpel. All you need is to undertake a task with your own payload data. Create a simple Client Java (EJB or Servlet later to make more flexible). In this Java client, retrieve the Service object in the proxy and port. Then instantiate the java class that represents the payload. Set 4 values you want and set the user name, etc. You may need some adjustments for the setting of the user. Then the port invoke otherwise (go your java object here).

  Please note that you can also use the SOA workflow API and the Manager back call personalized for this first task classes. In this class, you can have the methods of the interceptor, which is called each time a task is initiated, saved, Submit, approve etc etc (all events essentially). This gives you access to all the objects in a workflow with full charge blown. So you can always get the data you pass above and in this custom class, the value of the user, date/time etc..

  Hello

  If you mean how to access the e-Business Suite from the virtual machine, and then you just navigate to the same URL as you would normally. You may need to put the alias of the machine in your hosts file if you reference it via the name of the computer rather than the IP address.

  If you mean you want to load the form in the form designer (for example) then you will need to FTP the form from the server to the client (as you normally would), then open it in your client (XP virtual machine).

  If you want to use the workflow designer (according to your initial condition) then you must ensure that the TNSNAMES.ora file in workflow Home Builder has an entry for your instance on Linux, and then you should be able to connect to the database directly.

  The way I've updated by SDK had to go on the native menu 'Help' and "Update SDK", as described on the web.

  In the top drop down menu, I selected:

  "BlackBerry 10 native SDK 10.0.9.2318"

  And my OS version is:

  10.9.9.339

  I noticed that my:

  Project-> Build Configurations-> value activates

  ... has been configured for the device debugging

  But when I went to Run-> Debug Configurations, I selected "device-Release.

  I put this in the "device-Debug' and now I can start the application.
