  I use JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 and have a question about the choice of a database server to connect to.
  
  The application I'm developing used the database on an Oracle database server.
  
  Now the exact database schema (that is, table definitions, constraints table, etc.) has been reproduced on a different server with a different name (the name of the schema on the old machine is ZB and is ZBDB on the new machine).
  
  To try to connect to the database on this new machine, I created a new database connection in the window connections in JDeveloper. I stop and then again JDeveloper. The application is still running, but I don't know how to check in JDeveloper which machine it is connected to.
  
  Then in the Connections window, I deleted the definition of the connection to the old machine and restart JDeveloper. In one of the entity objects context menu, I selected "synchronize with the database... "and you have to choose a connection. I chose the connection with the new machine and attached (I can tell because one of the pages shows less number of lines when it is connected to the old machine).
  
  I then re-created the definition to connect to the old machine to see if I can choose to connect while the two database connections are present. I chose one of the entity objects to synchronize with the database, but this time I don't have to choose a machine and the message said that the selected objects 'don't need no synchronization ". So I stay connected to the new machine. To connect to the old machine, once again, I'll have to delete the definition of the connection to the new machine.
  
  I also tried the "Connect" and "Disconnect" options in the right-click menu on the database connection in the Connections window. But that has no effect on which connection to use.
  
  I think that there should be a way to choose and check the connection to a database. But I don't know how. Can anyone help?

  The entrance to the lower part is a Boolean value to append data.  You want it as a True constant since you want to write constantly new data in the file to each iteration of the loop.

  You can't 1 d and 2D connectors at the same time hung.  It is there to give you options.  If the 1 d link has it who uses data, otherwise it uses the connector 2-D data.

  What you want to do is to take the 3 pieces of data and integrate it to a 1 d table and that wire in the 1-D connector.  Connector 2-D leave blank.

  I installed RMS 13.1 without running the partition.ksh script during installation detail for RMS database and it has created some examples of data too, I saw the Guide installation and especially watched the stages of partitioning in the Guide, can someone give a hint, how the data limits are changed in the ddl for UK files? Since I'm a DBA, I'm a little confused, where to get this data? as the installation guide mentions that the RMS_partition_defintion.xls has modified and used for installation of production combined with partition_attributes.cfg for a production facility.

  Let's see...

  UK means United Kingdom of great brittain? I think that there is no UK specific DDL instructions associated with RMS.

  If you look at the Installer (unzip the zip to edelivery.oracle.com for example RMS 13.1), order folders

  V16908-01\rms_13.1_install\rms13dbschema\rms\dbschema\dbscripts_rms\examples\part
  V16908-01\rms_13.1_install\rms13dbschema\rms\dbschema\dbscripts_rms\ddl\part

  This package contains a ksh script which is driven by a script configuration and some lists of specific partitions in the data_def folder.
  This script partition.ksh can recreate DOF to other unpartitioned tables to partitioned.

  The XLS file mentioned also in this file and helps defining the number of partitions and make one or for example multidimensional (e.g. range/hash).

  The whole process is explained in a lot of details in the last chapter of the guide to implementation of goods merch-131 - impg.pdf.

  When your system already contains data, this should be saved and re-established.

  Note that indexes on partitioned tables may need too many partitioning, it takes at least some reflection on this and AFAIK the RMS installation program tries to respond to this also.

  You can also check the output of command 'ifconfig - a' when rac services are not running. If you are planning for failover scenarios, it is reasonable.

• How to choose the line PFI to use on the port of the 5761?

  I understand that the VIDEO that I use on my DAC 5761 allows me to access 8 PFI lines.  However, when I access my 5761 devices in the project window by clicking the "+" next to the name of the module, I see that 'PFI Input' and ' output PFI.  I tried to get this to send a signal in the past, but I have been unable to determine how to select the line PFI I want to use.   How can I select the PFI line?

  Any ideas?  I was able to get the my AWG PFI (5422) for work and it is amazing.  I want to order an attenuator digital step for a ground penetration radar that I develop.

  PS: I have worked with this PXI system (chassis, embedded controller, FPGA digitizer 5761 and AWG) for 1 year and I am afraid that it is time to learn this one way or another.

  I found the solution. In addistion to the node which is visible in my previous post, there must be a node to enable PFI write with an entry of decimal number indicating the line is activated. Then, there must be a node PFI active connector, set to true. Not sure if the node of the latter is really necessary, however. Otherwise above examples should work as is.

• The Linux host, guest of WinXP, host has 2 network cards, how to choose which NETWORK adapter to use?

  I know it's something of an FAQ, but several hours spent on these forums and Google search gave me nothing of what works.

  All the solutions I've seen assume Windows as host and (something) as a guest.

  In my case, the host is Linux (CentOS 6.4) and invited is Windows XP.

  The host has two network cards, one on a 10.x.x.x network and the other on 192.168.x.x network.  In the guest virtual network adapter connects to the network 10.x.x.x.  I want it on 192.168.x.x network.

  I would be happy if I added another virtual network card and one of them connected to each network, but two of them connect to the 10.x.x.x network (with 10.x.x.x different IP numbers).

  The solutions I've seen indicate that under the Virtual Machine-> network adapter settings-> network connection, you click on the button "Configure the adapter" and load of come from there.  It would be great, but I have no button "Configure the adapter" or something like that.  I have a button "Advanced", but that just allows me traffic into and out of the butterfly and set a new MAC address, that's all.

  Because the host is Linux, I have also no equivalent to vmnetcfg.exe, at least none that I can find.

  So, where should I go from here?

  VMware Player is the version 6.0.0 (freshly upgraded 5.0.2 this afternoon).  I tried with version 5.0.2 and got the same thing.

  You will need to use the virtual network Editor, although first you may need to create symbolic links.

  The first symbolic link already exist in a Terminal using the following command. Note: If connected a root the sudo command is not necessary when the.  Tip: Copy and paste the commands!

  ls-l/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-netcfg

  If it exists, the output should be similar to the following.

  At this point, you can simply use the following command to bring the virtual network Editor.
