    Answering your question: Epson could.  Tried to contact the manufacturer of the product in question rather than the manufacturer of the operating system (one of many) you could connect this printer?  :-)

    I deleted these emails, some time ago. The basket is empty. I would like to remove them permanently, but have not been able to locate them in a form that will allow me to do. They are not using edit > find > find messages. I did a manual search of all files, but they aren't there. I tested on a "dummy" email removal function, which removes also trash without problem, but always presents itself in a global search, with no specified location. It seems that there is a permanent record of every email as a "phantom", even after Trash has successfully cleared. I looked in the Profiles folder, but cannot locate a file where they can be stored, but they must be in a file somewhere on my computer. I would like to know where it is so I can nuke once and for all of these emails of undead.

    FIXED by the questioner. I found a file called 'global-messages-db-sqlite' in the folder ' (user) > AppData > Roaming > Thunderbird > profiles > jt * .default.
    He showed the current date, but I suspect that it updated in the search of the original that I ran to find the files I wanted to delete. (The test email that seemed to confirm the problem indeed there successfully removed; I deleted from my Inbox but forgot to remove it from my 'Sent' folder).

    go to TOOLS and then OPTIONS , then GENERAL tab then START a session at the start of firefox scroll and select SHOW MY HOME PAGE(now you probably SHOW MY WINDOWS AND TABS FROM the LAST TIME), and then click OK to save, exit firefox and restart.

    If you use the presets of game Mode, you must explicitly save the settings. The unnecessary manual says this, but it does not say how. On the same page of settings such as refresh rate display is an entry called Game Mode. If you select that and enter, you get a screen with options to save the settings for each of the presets Mode game individually. I did, and the refresh rate is no longer on.

    I had the same problem.  Mine was up here an easy solution.   Right-click on the taskbar and display the properties.  Check hide them icons inactive and click Customize.  I had multiple entries in the items being passed, including volume control icon.  Remove the elements in the item passed I have no idea from whence they came.  I ran MicrosoftFixit50015.msi (a Windows package install).  Then re-checked the past again and all elements had disappeared or been corrected.  SEEMS this file or box on the PC has become corrupted.  I changed the control volume on always point display.  Also, I went to control panel and sounds and re-checked the volume icon to Place in the taskbar.   Rebooted the system and has worked for me so far.  Good luck!

    For more than a week I get alerts with Windows Defender that my laptop is infected with the Trojan: Win32/Kovter.C reg. Whenever I choose to remove it, but he continues to show the Trojan horse after each successive scan.
