  • How to clear the fax memory so that I can receive additional fax?

I received error messages that my fax memory is full.  I searched the manual, asked for help on the HP site and visited the chat rooms.  If someone has had this problem and how did you solve it?

    Thanks for the information!

I don't have this printer model, but the steps to solve the problem should be similar to any printer model is.

    1. first of all, go to the Setup menu by pressing the setup (the key) icon.

    2. then you have to press the right arrow button then highlight on tools, and then press OK

    3. then scroll right until you see the Fax Press newspaper again on ok display

    4. scroll to the right until you see clear a Fax log and then press ok one last time

    5. press the button Cancel to get out at all.

    Hi @PaxtonMiller,

Thanks for getting back to me with the model information.

Here is a document of support which may help the erasure of memory - delete faxes from memory.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

    Hey there @YourForester,

    I hope you are well.

On your Officejet 6700, you can select the Menu configuration, tools, and Restore Factory Defaults to reset the printer and then back to its original settings. This should dispel any information you entered in the unit.

  • Call ActiveX return big topic of the day, how to clear memory?

Hoping to get recommendations on the removal of data from large memory size. Here is an equivalent representation of my block diagram (I edited the diagram to remove any intellectual property).

Anways, the issue I'm facing is LabVIEW eat any available system memory when inside the loop for. Functions of the object ActiveX I use require a large variant data to be placed in the memory as input to the next function. Running this loop translates into LabVIEW throwing an error "-2146959355: Server execution failed" after that the memory is full.

How do you prevent LabVIEW to use this memory? I did not need to keep the variant data, I just need an average of results after a set number of loops.

You hid many things, I guess that for reasons of industrial property.  But actually that makes this call activeX?

For me is it looks like you have a problem of activeX program, is not a problem of LabVIEW.

  • Fax - HP Officejet Pro 6830: how to remove how remove the 'Fax - 6830 (network) HP Officejet Pro printers list option.

How can I remove the "Fax - HP Officejet Pro 6830 (network)" option in the list of candidates of printer? First of all, I am a VoIP client and my salesman, like many others, does not fax support. In second place both my wife and I inadvertently try to print using this entry much to our annoyance. In third place for a non-commercial customer, it's an archaic device and that there should be a way to turn it off. "Fax - HP Officejet Pro 6830" does not appear in "Devices and printers", but it is in the registry.

There is no entry "FAX". I gave up. I would attach a print screen, but I don't see how.
