  To my knowledge unless you download a third party such as Advanced Task Killer App, you can only close applications active one at a time. If you are looking for an alternative, I suggest looking at game store of Google for a Task Killer app may be able to contribute to what you want to do.

Click the performance tab and the resource monitor button. Click the memory tab and check if free is close to zero, or is equal to zero.   My problem is, everything looks good, but the scene didn't close (X) button that is generally available on the upper right.

  I tried also to close the application using a button and try then Platform.exit () and System.exit (0) in the onAction for this button.

  -Platform.exit () makes the application not responding plue - looking as he close the application, but the screen is still visible and the still running process

  -System.exit (0) does not launch the application

  So a very basic question - how to close an application with Javafx running on Raspberry Pi?

  I don't know there is definitely a way for such fundamental thing - your help is greatly appreciated.

  I don't know about the raspberry but on the desktop, it would be primaryStage.close () - walk-it?
