  That your PC is almost a year old and you say it came with Windows pre-installed, 8 so, with you restoring back to factory conditions, you must reinstall the Windows 8.1 update.

  While Windows 8, without the 8.1 update, updates some files, it will not full updates. To do that you need to completely upgrade Windows 8.1 I believe that Microsoft made sure that Windows 8 would update not fully to make sure that everything the world updated to 8.1 of Windows Update. Without the 8.1 update you can not access the full set of Windows Update to date.

  If Oracle DB is uninstalled, then it is not possible that APEX will always remain. As APEX Oracle is installed in Oracle DB, Oracle DB uninstallation will certainly remove it as well. Check if your browser renders page caching.

  If it's not the cached page, then check if you have another instance of Oracle DB installed on which runs Oracle APEX.

  There is no need to uninstall Oracle APEX, you use according to the webserver option you can change the port on which runs Oracle APEX.

  If you use Oracle APEX on built-in PL/SQL gateway (EPG), you can change the port by connecting to sqlplus with the SYS user and SYSDBA privileges and by running the following SQL command:

  Use License Manager TO deactivate the license.  Will release the database entry of NO, so that you are OK to activate the license even on a new machine (can't really uninstall LabVIEW - the absence of activated license will prevent the use).  As I remember reading the license agreement, you can do up to 4 times per year.

  If you do not have access to the old machine (that is, because it fell from the roof or something like that) call OR service and they can manually remove activation.

  If you want to uninstall programs in Windows XP, go to control panel, add/remove programs, find the program you want to uninstall, then highlight and click on uninstall.

  If you feel that you still have the programs uninstalled in the registry entries, go to a command prompt. Then type regedit. Do a find for the name of the program and then delete the keys as your find.

  Lower back when Windows 8.1 first came out I could load the ISO of the same place that I paid for my copy of windows 8.0 and I have not had any problems with the installation. Now with the only source being the store Windows I'll have nothing but issues. I can't download or if it downloads it will not install. This is a clean install of media BLUE Windows 8.0, there is no parasites, anti-virus or firewall blocks my system. I already ran the first batch of 107 updates from Microsoft, which enabled the store thinking I could download.

  I have two questions:

  (1) is there another source where I might be able to recover the ISO (I lost the first copy in a car accident)?

  (2) if the answer to question 1 is NO, so how can I get when the store let me download my machine or it won't let me install it.

  There are 2 sources of Windows 1) free 8.1 must be downloaded from the store Windows 8.0 and purchase 2) a full commercial copy, digital download or disc. These are the only 2 options that Microsoft has chosen to use for version 8.1 of Windows. At this point, I would suggest you reset your computer to Windows 8.0, uninstall any third party antivirus and security and then also use their removal tool. Make sure that Windows Defender is turned on. Install all available updates. Reset your store, an essay on the download cache. If the problem persists always get back to us with error messages.
