How to configure FireFox pages in English? Now, it's in Dutch!

I just installed Firefox. It comes with all of the information in Dutch (I live in Belgium) I want information in English. How?

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language.
It is usually a link on these Web sites, select a language, or go to an international version which allows a chosen language.
....
If the Google (Firefox) or the Yahoo home page is in the wrong language then see:

  • How to configure firefox to open outlook e-mail links in a new tab instead of having this "crush" a tab currently open?

    How to configure firefox to open outlook e-mail links in a new tab instead of having this "crush" a tab currently open? For example, that I have a tab open and consult the information about this. An email comes in via outlook and I want to read a confined link. When I click on the link, it will open in the tab I have currently open. I would like to open it in a new tab.

    You mean Outlook, the standalone version and not the new iteration of Live (live.com) mail to Outlook.

    I think that the default is to open in a new tab in the last active window, but you can check it out here and replace the default value:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and change it to 3 and OK change

    The options are:

    -1 = apply the setting in Options > general > tabs of external links (default)
    3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
    2 = open external links in a new window
    1 = open external links in the last active tab replaces the current page

  • How to configure Firefox 4.01 to save all tabs when closing the browser?

    In the previous version 3.x.y to Firefox, when I closed the browser, he asked me if I wanted to save my open pages / tablets before closing. When I open the browser again, then it rebooted all previously open tabs / pages. In the version 4.01, before avant de fermer close the browser warns me that I'm closing multiple tabs, but when I restart the browser once again, it does not load the already open tabs. How to configure the browser to behave like the old version of 3.x.y, that is perfectly save all open tabs and load these new opening to restart the browser?

    Firefox stores now always the old session, and you can access it by going to the history menu and selecting "restore previous Session."

    If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:

    1. Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
    2. Go to the general Panel
    3. Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

  • How to configure Firefox tabs are on the lower line of the toolbar.

    I use Firefox 16.0.1. The tabs for Firefox Windows are on the line on the right toolbar underneath the toolbar 'File/Edit/.../Tools/Help '. How can the function using customize, I set up Firefox so that the tabs for Firefox Windows are on the lower line toolbars?

    From Firefox 16 (or 15, perhaps), the previous method of right click in one area of the toolbar and unchecking "Tabs on Top" has been deleted by developers. Now, this option appears only when the tabs are not on top. Then soon a you select the element "Tabs" at the top to move the tabs to the top, the item disappears from the context menu. I don't know the reasoning of the developer to change the way works this option. In my view, an easier way for users would be a checkbox in the Options > tabs for "tabs at the top.

    Starting from Firefox 16 (or 15, perhaps), to move the tabs at the bottom of the toolbar (not ' On Top') area, you must change a preference using the topic: config.

    • Info on: configuration and usage - http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
    • To change the option so that the tabs are not on the top, find the preference browser.tabs.onTop using about: config, and then double-click the preference, or do a right-click then choose turn on/off, change the falsevalue. (true = tabs on top, false = not on the top tabs)
  • How to configure firefox for deployment without group policy

    So my search resulted in my understanding there is no group policy for FF. I don't know FrontMotion Firefox, but I want to leave that as a last resort for now.

    I need to find a solution to add a location of CIP to the proxy but also to set the home page. I guess there is a preferences file in a location that I can modify and put all those who have the FF, but I was not able to find it.

    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you!

  • How to configure the Page template to read brought beans

    Hello

    I really don't understand why my Page template cannot read the data of an extended session bean.
    <af:pageTemplateDef var="attrs">
        <af:xmlContent>
        <af:panelStretchLayout>
          <f:facet name="center">
            <af:panelHeader>
              <af:panelStretchLayout >
                <f:facet name="top">
                  <af:panelGroupLayout>
                    <af:outputText value="#{sessionScope.myBean.title}" id="pt_ot1"/>
                  </af:panelGroupLayout>
                </f:facet>
                <f:facet name="center">
                  <af:facetRef facetName="content"/>
                </f:facet>

              </af:panelStretchLayout>
            </af:panelHeader>
          </f:facet>
        </af:panelStretchLayout>
      </af:pageTemplateDef>
    I specified my grain of session scope
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <adfc-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller" version="1.2">
      <managed-bean id="__6">
        <managed-bean-name id="__5">myBean</managed-bean-name>
        <managed-bean-class id="__8">MyBean</managed-bean-class>
        <managed-bean-scope id="__7">session</managed-bean-scope>
      </managed-bean>
    </adfc-config>
    .. .and my bean simply defines a simple fact...
    public class MyBean{
         public String getTitle(){
              return "This is the title";
         }
    }
    Now when I create a page that extends this model, I can't see the title in my page?

    I missed something? Or its not possible really to call beans spread in a page template?

    Help, please... Thank you

    Hello

    the source of the problem is a rookie mistake typical

    What does this do? In fact the component output text tries to find the extent of session for the myBean object and then call getTitle. However, JSf only creates an instance of a bean (and then stores it in the memory defined scope) if the call is

    So this application, session and application scope does not have a scope in the EL prefix if it is a managed bean. Controlled beans are instantiated automatically by the JSF framework if the managed bean is addressed like this

    "#{bean.attribute}".

    Exception for this in the ADF are pageFlowScope, viewScope, and backingBeanScope, which are prefixed in the instruction of EL. Why in this case a prefix works it is because these are managed by the ADF and ADF controller is configured to monitor the pageFlowScope prefixes, viewScope, and backingBeanScope

  • How to configure Firefox to get always the newest updates of content.

    Site updated. Open Firefox, went to the site and displays the older version. Made of the research. Found this problem is known and clear cache allows the update of content to display. But this is not a permanent solution and should even do whenever I want to see content recently updated. You want to configure the settings of the browser to always retrieve updates.
    Thank you!!

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)
  • How to configure Firefox to work with my antivirus software?

    Norton Internet Security installed. Norton appears automatically in IE and has a canopy that protects the connection details. I don't see this in Firefox.

    You can check if your Norton browser modules are enabled on the addons page? Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

    In the left column, click Extensions.

    Extensions disabled clustered down on a gray background. If they are there, try to activate them.

    If they do not, try using Norton LiveUpdate several times to make sure that you have the latest versions. You will probably have to close Firefox and start it up again after the LiveUpdate so that Firefox detect new files.

    A little luck?
