How to configure my live (hotmail) account on my phone?
I'm a complete amateur when it comes to this kind of stuff. I have an account live [email protected] and am trying to set up on my phone so I can get emails coming through. But I do it every time it fails to connect. I use the settings it provides automatically, so where I'm going wrong? Also, what is the name of "co" it gives? Please make it simple to understand
Try to set up the account manually in "menu"-"Settings"-"Accounts" + "Add an account" by selecting "Email", then uncheck "Automatically set up account"
Try these settings:
Receiving: pop3.live.comport995, SSL (secure user connection)
Sending: smtp.live.com, port587 (and 25), (use the secure connection)
If it doesn't, try to uncheck use a secure connection and try again
I hope this works for you

How can I get a hotmail account completely deleted?
Two months ago, that I became aware that my Hotmail account has been hacked in to, all my contacts have received emails containing a link to a financial company of the USA.
I immediately updated the password to a much safer and advised everyone to ignore the emails.
I then changed to a G mail account, abandoned the Hotmail account and hope that the problem has been resolved.
Two days ago a lot of my contacts again advised reception of "weird" on the same Hotmail account emails - none of them opened emails luckily.
Now, I have consulted the new Hotmail account and deleted all the contact details.
How can I make sure that the address/account unused and abandoned is now completely put out of the public domain?
Find it me impossible to communicate with the Microsoft Organization to request this service.

Hello
If someone is Spoofing emails that appear to come from you then they probably never
had access to your e-mail account. Instead, they have either a copy of your contacts
list or just an email from you or one of you where you were one of the recipients. Those
could be gleaned either your computer, the computer of a friend, or hacking
any site or intercept an email on your behalf or to you (you may not be the main)
(beneficiary).Once they have this information there is nothing you can do to avoid that they don't
send usurped messages. Warn your friends that is happening and they
can be entitled to install rules such as parodies are treated as SPAM or JUNK
mail.I've even seen usurped by email that appears to be from a valid user name however
This name doesn't have an e-mail account on the mail system used in parody.
As SpiritX - AT - realmail.com may be a valid account, however, parody used
SpiritX - AT - wrongmail.com. The latter could still be considered an email address valid
SpiritX if it was allowed through JUNK and JUNK e-mail filtering. (The - AT - has been used
instead of so that those addresses would not be filtered by auto responses.
as if by magic.)============================================================
Proceed to a very thorough check for malware and then change your password by e-mail.
The reason why you want to do this is to make sure no more hacking your computer is
still in effect (if it has been hacked). You have changed the password once but I would
Change it again after these checks. It is possible for a person to send the email that 'seems' to be of your
account but that is not really - called "Spoofing." That means its 'Possible' emails
were not really you, although they may have your contact list. Have someone
who receives the e-mails to check the header to see where he is actually sent by and
NOT only the answer to the address. How to read the message headers

How to reset the blocked hotmail account?
Hi, I've been blocked my account hotmail for a week!
I lived the recovery process (which I said would not take more than 24 hours!) and said Thursday that I would be sent a password reset link to reactivate my account. Mode real hotmail, this link never came. After a week through this bull, I totally lost faith in the ability of MSN/Hotmail to maintain a good service. Actually my experience with this, I would say that their incompetence knows no bounds. They are full of empty promises. Totally uselessOh, and by the way... I'll have an answer to this question, tell me to go on another forum where a 'dedicated' team will help me. Once again... NOPEHello
