  To answer your questions in full, it would be quite a task but here is my simple guide: -.

  1. connect to the internet

  1.1 choose an ISP (provider of Internet Sertvice) and get a CD with the software and the connection information.

  1.2 load the CD and follow the onscreen instructions to set up your login information.

  1.3 If you use dial-up connect your cable modem to your laptop and the other end to your telephone line.

  1.4 If you are using broadband services to connect your CODEC to your USB port and the other cable to your microfilter attached to your telephone line.

  1.5 DO NOT START YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION UNLESS YOU HAVE ANTIVIRUS RUNNING ON YOUR LAPTOP.

  1.6 Click START-> CONNECT TO-> the connection created in 1.2 above

  For the wireless connection, the procedure is similar braodly but you need a router or wireless modem connected to your telephone line and properly configured in Notepad you.

  Follow step 1.5 with a lot of attention. If you connect to the internet without anit-virus software and firewall appropriate, it will be only a few seconds before your laptop computer will be infected with a form of virus. Please be careful.

  Connect to the device using the WSD Protocol is available only when it is directly connected to the printer.   Try setting the printer using a Standard TCP/IP Port or if the Vista machine is 32 bit, and Windows 7 machine is also 32 bits (or the two bits 64) sharing the printer from Vista and establish a connection to get the installed printer driver, and then perform the network plug and play on the Plug-and-play device should use the driver to install the rest of the unit.

  You have uninstalled the software (using the uninstall software in Applications, Hewlett-Packard)?  Do this and then install the software that I linked above (not the CD-ROM), follow the instructions in the manual that I linked to.

  Verify that the IP address listed for the printer on the computer see if it is correct.

  Go to start, devices and printers, right-click the printer and click left on printer properties, select the ports tab click on configure port and check the IP address of the printer.

  If the IP address is not the same thing as the printers, then proceed as follows:

  Go to start, devices and printers, right click on the printer, go to the printer properties, select the ports tab, select new port, click the TCP/IP addresses standard, next, type the IP address, then finished.

  Make sure that the printer is offline by right-clicking the printer, see whats printing, click printer at the top of the screen, make sure you use printer offline is not checked. If it's click to uncheck.

  Test the printer.

  You will need to go to your settings of the printer.

  1. Select network settings.

  2. Select the wireless configuration wizard

  After perform you these steps, you need to get on the computer and to update the IP address. (It would occur on the printer on the Network Configuration Page).

  Then go to the computer.

  1. click on Start Menu

  2. Select all programs

  3 select the HP folder

  4. Select the name of the computer

  5. click on the IP ADDRESS UPDATE or wireless configuration.

  6. put the new ip address in the place.
