  The document here can help solve the black lines to scan using the ADF on your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.  From my experience this is almost always caused by a specification on the thin glass on the side left which is used for scanning using the ADF.  Cleaning of this area as described in the above document should solve the problem.  If the initial cleanup does not resolve the problem, it can help to shine a bright flashlight almost parallel to the glass.  For a line on the left side of the printed page, the place will be toward the front of the printer, if the line is on the right side of the document, it must correspond to a specification to the rear of the printer.

  A storm on the last week my OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus feeding dish. The printer is irretrievably economic so I ordered a new printer.

  In the end from the deceased by removving Assembly ADF/scanner printer ink cartridges. This provided access from the top to the distribution of ink stuck.  T10 Torx driver required to remove all.

  The new printer will not accept the cartridges retrieved when installing printer... had to use the "setup" cartridges in the box with the new printer.

  It has no function of machine harvest in the 8600 software. To get the exact size, you will need to manually set the size for the scans that you do. You can find the setting by clicking on the blue link to advanced settings in the first scan window. Will take you to a place that will allow you to change the size of the scanning area.   I have a Tecra A6 and the Advanced Port Replicator 3 Plus. Everything works except that I can't get a dial tone (for fax) when I plug the phone line into the duplicator. However, if I plug the same line to the Jack on the Tecra, I get a dial tone.

  I suspect that the com port is not configured correctly. Toshiba software modem is set to 3 Com (which should be of the Tecra). Should this com port I choose for the Port Replicator?

  It works with the new NT. I was even able to programm with the fax: for lines analog, you will need to enter your analog number manually in the NT by using an analog phone (or perhaps a more intelligent device for the pros, I guess). I just send faxes empty a little with the codes as numbers. I got an error message from the phone network, but the new testament had already swallowed the codes from here here. I have not tried the cable: too happy it works finally.

  Have you tried to contact Verizon to check how they suggest you connect all the devices? One of your previous posts said you would contact them. I wonder what they suggest.

  When you use the document for scan, copy, fax feeder, etc. the document always ends with two vertical black lines in the middle of the page.  I read a few other posts similar to this and tried all the advice, and nothing seems to have worked.  So far I've tried: cleaning the machine reset, turn it off for a period of time and again, disconnect it from the power supply for five minutes and by him plugging plug (which were the advice given in other posts).  Thanks in advance!
